She chose to wear a bottle green saree, presenting yet another example of her ageless glam look.
Her bottle green saree was quite simple, draped in the traditional way with neatly done pleats. The saree also featured small threadwork in white. She paired it with a matching full-sleeved blouse with a daring V neckline. Kajol gracefully entered the venue and posed for the photographers.

Kajol will soon be seen in the film Maa, which is expected to release next week. Her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, has produced the film. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Kajol spoke candidly about her marriage and how both of them handle various perspectives while working in the same profession and in the same movie. She said, '90% of the time if he is going over the top, I just call him out on it and he calls me out on it. We are not civilised and we will not take it to the corner. But it does not happen very often, we don't work that often together, we work once every five years."
The trailer features Kajol in an aggressive avatar as a mother attempting to protect her daughter from a mysterious monster. The story begins with a regular road trip that rapidly turns into a terrifying journey when an unknown object strikes their car window, leaving them stuck in the dismal village of Chandanpur. As scary events unfold, Kajol's character discovers a cursed tree tied to a succession of disappearances. Despite warnings, she refuses to let her daughter be sacrificed to break the curse.
Vishal Furia directed Maa, which stars Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma, and Ronit Roy. Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande co-produce the film, which is distributed by Jio Studios and Devgn Films. The film also stars Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Roopkatha Chakraborty in key parts.
