MAGA Civil War Erupts Minutes After Trump Bombs Iran's Nukes

'We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,' Trump announced on Saturday evening. 'Congratulations to our great American Warriors.'

'Let us join together and pray for the safety of our U.S. troops and Americans in the Middle East,' Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) wrote. 'Let us pray that we are not attacked by terrorists on our homeland.'
Greene has been an outspoken critic of foreign intervention, previously attacking the Trump administration for its hawkishness following campaign promises to end wars.
'Every time America is on the verge of greatness, we get involved in another foreign war,' Greene wrote less than an hour before the president announced the strikes. 'This is not our fight.'
As the news broke, 'WWIII' began trending on X while Truth Social experienced outages as users overwhelmed the site. MAGA loyalists attempted to spin the news as a good thing, toeing Trump's line that the bombing will bring peace.
'No regime change war,' former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz tweeted. 'Trump the Peacemaker!'
This week, America First die-hards had been attempting to calm the fears that Trump would lead America into yet another global conflict.
Vice President JD Vance tweeted that Trump had shown 'incredible restraint' in keeping the U.S. out of the regional turbulence as Iran and Israel exchanged missile fire.
While many tweeted their backing of the president, other Republicans seemed worried about the assault.
'I anticipate a full briefing of our military strike in Iran immediately upon my return to Washington,' Rep. Tom Barrett (R-MI) tweeted. 'Tonight, I am praying for wisdom in our decisions.'
'Now is the time for peace and an end to endless wars,' Rep. Tony Wied (R-WI) wrote online. 'Let's pray for our country.'
Trump himself seemed to enjoy the chaotic mixed-messaging on the Israel-Iran conflict. 'Nobody knows what I'm going to do,' he told reporters in mocking tones last week.
Now that the world knows exactly what Trump was planning, it's clear that the MAGA base is not entirely convinced this was the right move.
