HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Punahou Carnival 2025 promises to be an exciting, fun-filled event for the whole family, with something for everyone!
This year's theme, Pā'ina Paniolo: A Country Carnival, honors Hawai'i's cowboy (paniolo) heritage and blends it with classic country charm.Taking place on Friday, Feb. 7, and Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., it's an event you won't want to miss!
The carnival is hosted by the Junior Class of 2026 and is part of a long-standing Punahou tradition dating back to 1932.
The event is free to enter, but there are many exciting activities and food booths that require the purchase of scrip (carnival tickets) via credit, debit or Apple Pay.
Visit the art gallery: Hawai'i's largest art gallery showcases more than 1,000 pieces by nearly 300 local artists. It's a great chance to appreciate and support the island's creative community.
Shop for treasures at the White Elephant: The White Elephant booth is a must-see! You can find unique, secondhand items, from vintage treasures to hidden gems. A timed-entry system helps manage the busy crowd in the first few hours, so plan accordingly!
