According to multiple reports and certification documents, the Magic V5 could become the thinnest foldable on the market, with a folded profile measuring under 9mm, potentially beating the current record held by the Oppo Find N5 (8.93mm). The move would also position it ahead of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 , which is rumored to come in at exactly 8.9mm.But the ultra-thin form factor doesn't mean Honor is compromising on power or battery life. Fast charging remains at 66W, and if Honor manages to maintain its 45-minute full charge time despite the battery bump, that alone could make the Magic V5 a battery champion in its category. The Magic V5 is confirmed to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version, the top-end variant of Qualcomm's latest chip with higher-clocked performance cores (up to 4.47GHz). Cameras, display, and satellite connectivity
The Magic V5 is tipped to feature an 8-inch main folding display and a 6.45-inch cover screen, with both panels likely using OLED technology.
The phone is expected to arrive in four colorways: Velvet Black, Snow White, Tundra Green, and a new premium-looking Silk Gold finish. This new color is likely intended to help the device stand out visually, particularly as Samsung's foldables tend to stick to more conservative tones. The Magic V5 is tipped to feature an 8-inch main folding display and a 6.45-inch cover screen, with both panels likely using OLED technology.
Another rumored addition is BeiDou satellite messaging support, which would give users limited off-grid communication capabilities — a feature that's gradually becoming more common on high-end phones in China.

While Samsung is likely to focus on software integration and Galaxy AI , Honor is instead doubling down on hardware innovation with a thinner profile, larger battery, and potentially stronger camera hardware. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a major problem: it does not sell
Samsung is facing serious issues with the Galaxy S25 Edge, its latest and thinnest flagship to date. Despite hyping up the phone and defending it against criticism from media and fans alike, the Galaxy S25 Edge doesn't sell well at all. In fact, Samsung has been forced to considerably lower the number of Galaxy S25 Edge units it produces each month, a new report claims. What's worse is that the Galaxy S25 Edge was released as a test to see if there's an audience for very slim flagships. The South Korean company plans to replace the Galaxy S26 Plus with an Edge model, but after the Galaxy S25 Edge 's fiasco, it's unclear what will happen with the last member of the Galaxy S26 has been trying for years to convince people to buy the Galaxy S Plus model, but this specific model performed poorly in comparison to the other versions of the Galaxy S flagship. Typically, new phones sell well in the first three months, but Galaxy S25 Edge sales were even lower than Samsung's lowest expectations, which is the South Korean giant decided to cut its losses and stop producing so many units. Samsung will favor the US market when it comes to the number of Galaxy Z Fold 7 units | Image credit: AndroidHeadlines In related news, sources familiar with Samsung's plans claim the company is now looking to increase production of foldable phones specifically aimed at the US market. The main reason is the threat of US tariffs, which are expected to take effect around the time Samsung will launch its foldable flagships on the report also mentions that Samsung plans to manufacture around 600,000 Galaxy Z Fold 7 units in June alone, all aimed at the US market. This is a 200,000 increase from the initial plan. If this proves to be accurate, it means the global production of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be lower because Samsung has decided to focus on the US market. Stocks will continue to be increased throughout July when Samsung plans to ramp up production to meet expectations. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Motorola Razr 2025+ review
Razrs aplenty, more so in the US than anywhere else. The Razr+ 2025 is another entry in the Motorola clamshell foldable lineup, a middle ground between the vanilla model and the high-end Ultra. Razr+ 2025 (left) next to Razr 2025 This particular model is seemingly a US-exclusive - not even Motorola Canada appears to be selling it. Both the US and Canada are getting the plain Razr 2025 and the Razr 2025 Ultra, so there's no shortage of North American Razrs. This year, there's no direct international counterpart to this Razr+ - the non-plus and the Ultra have their Razr 60 alter egos. Motorola Razr+ 2025 • Motorola Razr 2025 • Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 That said, it's worth keeping in mind that the Razr+ 2025 is in many ways the same phone as the Razr+ 2024, which, in turn, is the North American version of the Razr 50 Ultra (reviewed here). We'll be coming back to these comparisons along the way, as well as when we get to decision-making time. Motorola Razr+ 2025 • Motorola Razr+ 2024 • Motorola Razr 50 Ultra As the middle option in the roster, the Razr+ 2025 has a beefier chipset than the vanilla model, but not the current flagship Snapdragon that the Ultra gets. Another inbetween solution can be seen in the displays - main one is almost like on the vanilla model, the cover one is the same as on the Ultra. The camera system is another area where the plus is bridging the gap, relying on the same main camera as the Razr 2025, but paired with a telephoto instead of an ultrawide - the Ultra makes do without a zoom camera, but features nicer main and ultrawide modules. There's a minor upgrade in the ingress protection, same move to IP48 that we saw on the Razr 2025. However, there's no change to battery capacity, unfortunately. Misc: Fingerprint reader (side-mounted); stereo speakers (with Dolby Atmos). Motorola Razr+ 2025 unboxing The Razr+ 2025 showed up in a box no different than the one we got the non-plus in. It's a graphite-colored cardboard package with not a whole lot inside. There's no charger, but you do get a USB-C cable, and it's an e-Mark-ed 5A-capable one, unlike the plain 3A cable of the Razr 2025. The Razr+ 2025's bundle doesn't include any form of protection, which was also our experience with the non-plus. North American models seem to be treated this way, while the rest of the world typically gets two-piece snap-on covers. Page 2
