On Saturday, the makers of the film dropped a video welcoming Deepika Padukone on board. The video began with the actress discussing the script with Atlee before they got on the set and started preparing for the movie. From the video, it looks clear that Deepika Padukone will be unleashing her action avatar in AA22xA6. In the caption of the clip, the makers described Deepika as a 'queen" who is ready to 'conquer".

While early rumours hinted that the film might feature a two-hero storyline, Allu Arjun's team recently clarified that the actor will be seen in dual roles, adding another intriguing layer to the film's narrative. The film is set to go on floors in mid-2025, with a grand release planned for 2026.
Interestingly, this comes weeks after Sandeep Reddy Vanga removed Deepika Padukone from Prabhas starrer Spirit. Reports suggest that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film's profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Deepika, a new mother, is reportedly seeking to balance her work and personal life by reducing her working hours.
