This is WhatsApp's largest marketing campaign to date, aiming to offer enhanced privacy to over 3 billion monthly users worldwide. The campaign starts with a brand manifesto TV spot directed by Achowe from Chalk and Cheese Films. The TV spot was filmed in various locations across Delhi, including the banks of the Yamuna River and Chandni Chowk. The 60-second spot also features some of the most iconic names, with Aamir Khan as the voice in India in Hindi and English. Take a look at the film here:

The initiative follows the rollout of 'Advanced Chat Privacy,' a new setting for one‑on‑one and group chats that blocks content from being shared outside WhatsApp. It builds on existing features like Privacy Checkup, which guides users through strengthening their account security and customising privacy settings in one place.

'There is already a strong relationship between India and the UK, and I think it's growing,' Vallance said. 'But government-to-government relationships on science aren't actually what drives everything. It has to be a scientist and a scientist as well.' Candidates can apply for the visa through the UK Home Office . The endorsement stage generally takes 4 to 8 weeks for a decision. After receiving endorsement, applicants must submit a visa application to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). The standard visa processing time is around 3 weeks when applying from outside the UK. Applicants are required to pay an endorsement fee of £524 and a visa application fee of £192. Additionally, the immigration health surcharge is £624 per year. The visa is typically granted for up to 5 years and is extendable, with eligibility for permanent settlement after 3 to 5 years depending on the endorsement type. To bring flexibility and international expertise into the UK, the visa supports long-term settlement: individuals recognised as established leaders may qualify for indefinite leave after three years, while those with emerging promise have a five-year path to settlement. Restored, uncut version of 'Sholay' to be showcased at Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival in Bologna

NEW DELHI: 'Sholay', one of India's most celebrated films of all time, is set to create magic on the big screen once again with the premiere of its fully restored, uncut version at the prestigious Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival in Bologna, Italy. The screening, commemorating the film's 50th anniversary, will take place on June 27 at the open-air Piazza Maggiore, said a press release. Featuring an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Sanjeev Kumar, Jaya Bacchan and Amjad Khan, Sholay was written by Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar and directed by Ramesh Sippy. The film is considered an inalienable part of Indian pop culture due to its popular characters like Jai, Veeru and Thakur as well as Gabbar Singh, one of the iconic villains of Hindi cinema, and plenty of dialogues and action sequences. "Some things in life remain permanently etched in your mind. 'Sholay' is one such film," said Amitabh Bachchan, who played the role of Jai in the movie. He also recalled the "unforgettable experience" of shooting the movie. "At the time I had no idea that it would be a watershed for Indian cinema. Its dramatic change in fortunes from being declared an unsuccessful venture, to its record-breaking box office run was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us." "It's wonderful that the Film Heritage Foundation has restored 'Sholay' and that they have managed to locate and include the original ending as well as some deleted scenes in the restoration. I hope that even 50 years later, the film will capture the imagination of new audiences across the world," he added.
