It's a great day to be a Star Wars fan.
Sunday is May the 4th, the unofficial Star Wars holiday that plays on the iconic movie line 'May the Force be with you.'
There are all sorts of ways to celebrate close to home, including dressing up as favorite characters and binge watching 'Star Wars' films, but fans yearning for a galaxy far, far away can find one in California or Florida.
Here's how fans can have their own Star Wars adventures on May the 4th and beyond at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Yes. Disneyland Park is home to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, an immersive land with attractions, entertainment, dining, characters and various activities all themed to Star Wars. It opened in May 2019, several months ahead of the Galaxy's Edge at Disney World near Orlando.
The setting in both is Batuu, which StarWars.com describes as 'once a thriving stop for traders and travelers before advancements in lightspeed technology. Now its lush forests and majestic mountain regions are known only to those who dare to venture this far into the Outer Rim.'
Disneyland and Disney World also have a Star Tours – The Adventures Continue attraction, outside Galaxy's Edge.
Disneyland is currently celebrating Season of the Force through May 11. The seasonal celebration features a new nighttime projection show called 'Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,' new character interactions with Luke Skywalker, returning Fire of the Rising Moons fireworks, a Hyperspace Mountain overlay on Space Mountain, and limited-time food and merchandise offerings.
Like other festivals throughout the year, Season of the Force is included with standard park admission. One-day, one-park tickets start at $103 a day for guests over age 9. Tickets for May the 4th cost $180.
Disneyland is also hosting an after-hours event called Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on select nights through May 6. The specially ticketed event, which is not included with standard admission, features character sightings, a lightsaber instructional, a galactic dance party, a Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade, and shorter waits for popular rides. Event tickets start at $169 and May the 4th' is already sold out.

Yes. Guests can visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
From May the 4th through the end of the month, they'll be able to order Star Wars-inspired treats throughout the park and at select locations in the Disney Springs shopping, dining and entertainment complex. Specially themed popcorn buckets, sipper cups and merchandise including limited-time lightsabers will also be available at Hollywood Studios.
While there aren't any May the 4th events planned at the park this year, guests can still celebrate on their own. One-day, one-park tickets to Disney's Hollywood Studios start at $139 for guests over age 9. Tickets for May the 4th cost $174.
Guests will find many of the same experiences available at Star Wars: Galaxy Edge in Disneyland or Disney World. Here are some of the most popular ones.
Ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, one of the most popular attractions at both resorts.
Ride Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and feel what it's like to fly the "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.'

Try various challenges on the Star Wars: Datapad in the free Play Disney mobile app.
Wander around, looking for Easter eggs and at all. The intricate details throughout the land.
Grab a drink or bite at Oga's Cantina as droid DJ R-3X spins tunes. Reservations are typically required though walk-up lists are also available.
Sip on blue (or green) milk from the Milk Stand or Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo at Disneyland or Kat Saka's Kettle at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Once only the purview of theme parks, intricately-designed popcorn buckets are now found at every movie theater advertising your favorite blockbuster. Disney World is still the king of the popcorn bucket, though Universal Orlando Resort has created some great ones in recent years. This new Universal Studios bucket for Super Nintendo World may be one of the best, and also the most complicated to bring home. Universal Studios Japan just debuted a brand-new popcorn bucket for its Super Nintendo World. It's a 'Bob-omb,' the anthropomorphic explosive device from the Mario games that looks like the classic cartoon version of a bomb, that might raise a few eyebrows when trying to get it through airport security. I mean, I have no idea what airport security would think if they saw this go through an X-ray machine. It might only scan as a hollow piece of plastic, but if anybody gave it a serious look, I can imagine some security officials having questions. It doesn't look like a 'real' weapon, but certainly the TSA could still take issue with it based on how other people might perceive it if they saw it. If the TSA can take issue with "thermal detonator" Coke bottles, then a "bomb"-shaped popcorn bucket is absolutely fair game. As somebody who was mildly worried I might have an issue when I brought my Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge lightsaber through airport security, I honestly might get nervous trying to transport this. Of course, if I was too nervous, that might be when security would get concerned. This may be one of the best popcorn buckets ever devised. First off, it looks perfect as a 'real' version of the Bomb-omb, which was introduced in Super Mario Bros. 2. However, it's also functional, as it makes for a simple receptacle for popcorn, and is even round, which is going to make cleaning the thing a lot easier. The only problem with the Bob-omb bucket is that right now, it's only available at Universal Studios Japan. That park had the first Super Nintendo World, so it's not surprising that it debuted the bucket. That said, we now have two Super Nintendo Worlds in the U.S.: a small one at Universal Studios Hollywood and a much larger version at the brand-new Epic Universe park at Universal Orlando Resort. One imagines that if the popcorn bucket proves popular, the design will make its way stateside. Currently, the only popcorn bucket available at Super Nintendo World on either coast is themed to Mario Kart. While it looks cool, I would buy the Bob-omb bucket in a second, even if I were going to have some explaining to do to get it home.

‘How to Train Your Dragon' Stays No. 1 as ‘Elio' Earns Pixar's Lowest Box Office Opening
Universal/DreamWorks' 'How to Train Your Dragon' will hold on to the No. 1 spot at the box office with a $35 million second weekend, topping the estimated $30 million opening of Sony's '28 Years Later' and the studio-worst $20 million start of Disney/Pixar's 'Elio.' The 'How to Train Your Dragon' remake is dropping 58% from its opening weekend for a 10-day domestic total of $159 million. It needs to pass $217 million to become the top domestic grossing film in the 'HTTYD' franchise before inflation adjustment. With families flocking to the familiar face of the dragon Toothless on the big screen, Pixar's 'Elio' is having a harder time drumming up interest as an original animated film with just $9 million earned on its opening day from 3,750 theaters. As a result, its $20 million estimated opening weekend has passed the $29.6 million opening of 'Elemental' for the lowest opening ever for a Pixar film. If this result holds, 'Elio' would have a lower opening weekend than the $22 million that last year's 'Inside Out 2' made in just its first Monday in U.S. theaters following its $154.2 million opening weekend. While Disney was hoping for an opening closer to what 'Elemental' earned, the poor start of that film followed by its lengthy box office run has prepared them and theaters for the possibility of a rebound for 'Elio.' And the good news is that like 'Elemental,' reception for 'Elio' has been very strong with an 85% Rotten Tomatoes score and an A from audiences on CinemaScore. For Disney, the hope now is that this strong audience buzz will reach the ears of audiences who either don't have 'Elio' on their movie radar or went to go see 'How to Train Your Dragon' first will come back around to see this original film based on its word-of-mouth, particularly during Fourth of July weekend. Things are looking better for '28 Years Later,' Sony/Columbia's legacyquel to Danny Boyle and Alex Garland's famed 2002 horror film '28 Days Later.' The $30-31 million start is consistent with pre-release box office tracking and puts it on pace for a decent theatrical run against its $60 million budget. The bigger question is whether this film will drum up enough sustained interest for Boyle and Garland to turn it into a trilogy. The second installment, '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,' is set to come out this winter, but the third film has yet to be greenlit. While critics have praised the film with a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score, its more cerebral nature and unexpected tonal shifts have left audiences mixed with a 66% RT audience score and a B on CinemaScore. Whether that causes its theatrical run to be more frontloaded remains to be seen. French police probe fake Disneyland 'marriage' with nine-year-old
French police were on Sunday probing the circumstances of a bizarre stunt at Disneyland outside of Paris, with a group of adults suspected of hiring the theme park and paying hundreds of extras to stage a fake marriage for a nine-year-old Ukrainian girl. Two people were held for questioning in the case, which initially caused alarm when staff alerted police on Saturday that it could have concerned an illegal child marriage. But investigators now believe that the so-called "marriage" was staged, with the girl's mother reportedly saying that she wanted her to feel like a Disney "princess" for the day. "The event turned out to be a staged event, with the guests themselves extras" invited to be part of the stunt, deputy prosecutor Alexandre Verney said. "So it wasn't a wedding, but a staged wedding filmed with around a hundred extras. They hired Disneyland Paris, pretending it was a real wedding," he told AFP. Four people were arrested and taken into custody, and the questioning of two of them -- suspected of fraud and money laundering -- was extended on Saturday evening. They are the so-called "groom" who is believed to be behind the event, 22 years old and "presumed to be British", and a Latvian woman, 24, said a source close to the case. However, the other two people detained -- a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman, and a 55-year-old Latvian man -- were released. The investigations, including a medical examination of the nine-year-old girl, a Ukrainian national, found that "she had not been subjected to any violence or coercive acts," the prosecutor's office said. According to the Le Parisien daily, which first reported the incident, a man had several weeks previously hired the Disneyland Paris complex for a sum of 130,000 euros ($150,000) for several hours before it opened to the public. Staff were astonished when the nine-year-old appeared wearing high heels on Saturday morning, barely able to stand in the elaborate footwear, and they alerted the authorities, it said. The paper said the man who organised the event had submitted false documents concerning his identity and Disneyland filed a complaint.
