Terrifying footage shows the moment of the eruption at the Gaomi Youdao Chemical plant in the city of Weifang at around midday local time.

The blast occurred a few minutes before noon local time
Images show the roaring inferno followed by billows of black smoke rising high into the sky.
Emergency Services sent more than 230 firefighters and 55 vehicles to the scene to try and bring the blaze caused by the explosion under control.
The explosion killed at least five people while 19 are reportedly injured, according to local emergency management authorities.
A further six people are currently missing.

A local resident told the The Associated Press news agency that his home - located than 7km (4.3 miles) from the plant - shook from the impact of the explosion.
The plant manufactures pesticides as well as chemicals for medical use, and has more than 500 employees, according to corporate registration records.
Local fire officials sent more than 230 personnel to the scene, according to state broadcaster China Central Television.
Workplace safety has improved over the years in China but remains a stubborn problem.

In January, dozens died after a fire broke out at a store in the central city of Xinyu, with state news agency Xinhua reporting the blaze had been caused by the "illegal" use of fire by workers in the store's basement.

That fire came just days after a late-evening blaze at a school in central Henan province
Domestic media reports suggested the fire was caused by an electric heating device.
Meanwhile, a deadly explosion ripped through a fried chicken shop in northern China, killing two people and injuring 26 more last year.
Shops, homes, and cars were completely destroyed in the horror blast, which is believed to have been caused by a gas leak, according to state reported at the time.

Motorcyclist (50s) dies in single-vehicle crash in Co Cork
A motorcylist in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle crash near Milford, Co Cork on Saturday. Male pedestrian (60s) dies after being hit by tractor in Co Clare
A man in his 60s has died after he was hit by a tractor on the L7006 at Kilmurry, Sixmilebridge in Co Clare. Gardaí and emergency services responded to the crash which occurred shortly after 10.15am today. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been transferred to University Hospital Limerickand a postmortem will take place in due course. The coroner has been informed and an inquest is expected to take place at a later date. The road is currently closed to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Meanwhile, a young boy is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car in Co Donegal last night. The emergency services rushed to the scene and the boy was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for immediate treatment. The boy's condition is not yet known. There is a large volume of traffic in Co Donegal this weekend for the Donegal International Rally which is taking place over three days from Friday to Sunday. However, it is not understood that this incident was directly related to the rally event itself.

Nine children rescued from water and one in hospital after boat capsizes off Antrim coast
Emergency Services at the scene of the ongoing incident in Carrickfergus Nine children are understood to have been among those rescued from the water off the Co Antrim coast in a major operation this evening. One has been taken to hospital, and police said everyone has been accounted for after a boat capsized in the water shortly after 9pm.
