Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong is currently enjoying his summer vacation alongside a former teammate at the Camp Nou.
The player in question? Sergi Roberto.
Midfielder De Jong, like the rest of Barcelona's squad, is currently in the midst of a well-earned break from competitive action.

After a thoroughly successful campaign in 2024/25, and with no place at the Club World Cup, Hansi Flick's stars have spread out across the globe, to enjoy a month-long vacation.
The aforementioned De Jong is one such player, who, after recovering from a long-term injury, played a leading role for Barca over the 2nd half of the term.
And as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, the Dutchman was spotted enjoying a meal with a former member of the midfield ranks at the Camp Nou.
The photo in question can be seen below, with De Jong joined by none other than Sergi Roberto – currently plying his club trade in Italy with Como:

AMC announces 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' season 3 release date and trailer

¡Bienvenidos a España! Yes, "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" will officially see the titular zombie survivor (played by Norman Reedus) heading to Spain in the third season of the popular "TWD" spin-off, which is set to premiere Sept. 7. Fans got a sneak peek at all of the post-apocalyptic Spanish adventures to come in a brand-new teaser trailer. AMC released a 30-second teaser clip showing Reedus's Daryl Dixon and Melissa McBride's Carol Peletier adjusting to life in their new setting. "Felt like something had been lost, a chance to really have something" Dixon says in the short trailer. McBride's Carol adds in voiceover, "First you survive what happened to you, and then you start living again." But clearly, the characters haven't shaken off those survival instincts just yet, as fiery, zombie-filled battles are very much in their futures. "The road home is brutal and the fight to survive is far from over," reads the description of the new sneak peek, which you can watch below: AMC's official logline for season 3 of "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" reads: "Daryl and Carol continue their journey to return home and to the ones they love, but their path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse." And along with a peek into this season's Spain-set plotlines, the teaser also confirmed that the third installment, which is subtitled "The Book of Carol," will begin on Sunday, September 7 at 9 p.m. ET exclusively on AMC and AMC Plus, kicking off a six-episode run. Along with leads Reedus and McBride, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay are joining the cast as series regulars in season 3. Actors including Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto and Stephen Merchant will round out the ensemble. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. In addition to the season 3 teaser trailer, AMC also dropped some behind-the-scenes insights with a new on-set video, catching up not only with Jeffrey Dean Morgan to discuss "The Walking Dead: Dead City" season 2 but also Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride from Spain during filming of "Daryl Dixon" season 3: As for how their two characters end up in Spain, the "Daryl Dixon" team is tight-lipped, but showrunner David Zabel did previously tell The Hollywood Reporter that the nomadic nature of Daryl and Carol's survival helped "reinvigorate" the show season after season. 'We loved the reinvigoration we experienced going to France, and we wanted to continue doing that,' Zabel said. 'On a story level, the characters should not settle down. It should be a road show. They have to keep moving [to return home]. At the end of season two, they're going somewhere. We don't know exactly where, and it's not a direct line to the next place they go. But the idea is to keep the characters struggling and striving to get home and moving.' Tom's Guide will keep you updated on all things related to "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" season 3, including character details, plot points, new trailers and more.

Pep Guardiola told to sign out-of-favour Barcelona captain for Manchester City

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is staring at an uncertain future at Barcelona, despite his insistence that he is under contract and has no plans to leave. Barcelona's commitment to new signing Joan Garcia, alongside the expected contract renewal of Wojciech Szczesny, places the 33-year-old German international in a difficult position. Advertisement Flick is leaning toward giving the No. 1 shirt at Barcelona to Garcia with Szczesny as his backup, leaving Ter Stegen out of favour. Lothar Matthaus advises Man City to sign Ter Stegen Amidst this unfolding situation, German legend Lothar Matthaus has advised Pep Guardiola's Manchester City to sign Ter Stegen to replace Ederson in their goal. 'I don't know what Manchester City are planning, but I don't think they are very happy with Ederson. I think Ter Stegen could definitely be a goalkeeper for the Cityzens for the next three or four years,' he told Sky Germany (h/t SPORT). Discussing his compatriot's difficult situation at Barça, the former Germany captain added: Advertisement 'The situation is unpleasant for him. He has returned in good shape after a long injury and has shown, especially in the Nations League against France, that he is still a world-class goalkeeper at 33 years of age.' However, he acknowledged that Barcelona are well within their right to move to a younger goalkeeper like Garcia, saying: 'Garcia is nine years younger, is already part of the Spanish national team and is expected to play for them in the future. 'A club is within its rights to say that for the future it will go for a younger goalkeeper who can also cost less in wages.' What next for Ter Stegen? (Photo by) Advertisement Matthaus stated that he believed Barcelona were not dictating Hansi Flick's choices as far as the goalkeeping spot is concerned but insisted that the manager had shown he still trusted Ter Stegen. 'I don't know how Barça will act, whether Hansi Flick will be instructed to play the new goalkeeper,' he said. 'I could imagine that Hansi has spoken internally in favour of Ter Stegen. Why would a coach be against a very good goalkeeper? Flick used Ter Stegen in La Liga at the end of last season. That shows that he trusts him.' Still, Matthaus noted that the club 'also has its interests,' and if Barcelona back Garcia, 'it could become a dangerous situation for Ter Stegen,' potentially leading to a point where 'Julian Nagelsmann can no longer justify calling him up if he is only on the bench at Barcelona.' Advertisement For this reason, Matthaus believes that with Szczesny likely to renew, 'I suppose Ter Stegen will leave Barcelona.' Addressing the interest shown by Galatasaray in the German shot-stopper, the legend added: 'Galatasaray have shown their ambitions with the signing of Sané and will play in the Champions League next season. 'There are also six clubs in England who will play in the Champions League next season, and not all of them have such a strong goalkeeper to say: 'Ter Stegen would not be a reinforcement for us.''
