《幻獸帕魯》和《泰拉瑞亞》合作夏季推出！能和「克蘇魯之眼」大戰、加入釣魚系統？

《幻獸帕魯》（Palworld）官方在去年 11 月宣布將和《泰拉瑞亞》（Terraria）合作，並且先行推出《泰拉瑞亞》中備受玩家喜愛的「彩虹貓之刃」武器，作為預熱內容，更是《幻獸帕魯》首個能發射魔法飛彈的近戰武器。而今日（13），官方正式宣佈和《泰拉瑞亞》的合作，將在今年夏季推出，並且釋出了多張遊戲截圖，疑似可以和「克蘇魯之眼」展開 BOSS 戰。
《幻獸帕魯》確定和《泰拉瑞亞》的合作會在夏季推出（通常為 6 月到 9 月之間），並確定改版名稱為《幻獸帕魯：潮起泰拉瑞亞》，帶來和《泰拉瑞亞》合作的新地圖、新帕魯、新BOSS...等大量新增內容。
而根據官方公開的大型更新前瞻截圖來看，玩家疑似能對上《泰拉瑞亞》的招牌 BOSS「克蘇魯之眼」、可以釣魚釣出帕魯、充滿危險機關的地下城等，甚至還有不少從沒看過的帕魯登場。
同時即日起，《幻獸帕魯》也參加了 Steam 舉辦的「生物收集節」特賣活動，帶來了歷史最低價的 -25% 折扣，只需要新台幣 366 元就能加入！時間只到 5 月 20 日凌晨為止。

Steam's store now lets you search for games by accessibility features like 'narrated game menus' and 'adjustable difficulty', and more than 5,000 games have already added their accessibility details to the database

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Back in April, Valve announced the Steam store would start highlighting accessibility features on games' store pages. And now, it has. Not only can you see them in the sidebar beneath the controller support section for selected games, you can also search the store by individual accessibility features. "This update comes after gathering valuable feedback from developers as well as players with disabilities," Valve says in its blog post announcing the news, "and over 5,000 applications have added details about their accessibility support (with more developers updating their games each day)." On Steam's search page you can select "narrow by accessibility feature" to bring up a bunch of toggles like "playable without timed input" and "color alternatives". If you know anyone who has ever bought a puzzle game and had to refund it because the puzzles demand you can tell colors apart but won't let you tweak what those colors are, you'll know why the latter's important. Some accessibility features, like "save anytime" and "adjustable text size" are good for everyone to know in advance—they're just nice things to have. A variety of games, mostly newer ones, have already added accessibility features to their store page. Baldur's Gate 3, for instance, boasts 10 of them, from "adjustable difficulty" to "playable without timed input". Here's a full list of the options, with explanations of exactly what they mean. Gameplay Adjustable Difficulty: Players can adjust gameplay difficulty. Save Anytime: Players can save gameplay using both automatic and manual saves. Saving can be performed at any point in the game. Visual Adjustable Text Size: Players can adjust text size. (In-game text, menu text, character dialog text, subtitle text) Subtitle Options: Players have options to customize the display of subtitles for all spoken content and essential audio information. Color Alternatives: Gameplay doesn't rely on colors to communicate important information, or players have an option to adjust colors used for distinguishing information. Camera Comfort: Players have an option to adjust or disable uncomfortable camera movement such as screen shaking, camera bob, or motion blur, or the game doesn't feature these effects. Audio Custom Volume Controls: Players can adjust the volume of the audio. Different types of audio can be muted independently from each other. Narrated Game Menus: Players can listen to game menus with narrated audio. Stereo Sound: Players can identify how far to the left or right sounds are coming from. Surround Sound: Players can identify how far in any direction sounds are coming from. Input Keyboard Only Option: Players can play the game with just a keyboard and no other additional input mechanisms such as a mouse or controller. Mouse Only Option: Players can play the game with just a mouse and no other additional input mechanisms such as a keyboard or controller. Touch Only Option: Players can play the game with just touch controls and no other additional input mechanisms such as a mouse, keyboard or controller. Playable without Timed Input: Players have an option to adjust gameplay to not require precisely timed button presses ("quick time events") or gameplay does not require such button presses. Text-to-speech: Text chat can be narrated out loud in real time. Speech-to-text communications: Voice chat can be read as a text transcript in real time. Look Outside just got a big update bringing a bunch of new creepy experiences

I didn't really need an excuse to begin another playthrough of Look Outside , but the developer just dropped an update that provides plenty of reasons to dip back into the survival horror RPG if you were looking for any. Update 1.5 brings new crafting recipes, new interactions with people in the apartment building — some familiar, some not — and big changes to the flooded basement area, along with a slew of other tweaks and bug fixes. You can take a look through the update notes to see everything that's been added, or just jump right in and let yourself be surprised. Look Outside is a survival horror game with turn-based combat that was released on Steam in March. The game sees the player character Sam trapped in an apartment building for two weeks to ride out some strange, apocalyptic event happening outside. The weirdness, of course, makes its way inside too, and you'll find yourself up against all sorts of body horror monstrosities and trying to figure out who you can trust. Between the art, the music and the story, it's an all-around masterpiece that I haven't been able to stop yapping about since playing it for the first time back in April. It's really cool to see the developer is continuing to add to it because this is one of those games that's just made to be played over and over. If you haven't picked it up yet, there's no time like the present.

Thousands of kids take part in T.D. Jakes Foundation STEAM Expo

Thousands of children and families gathered Saturday at the Shops at RedBird for the T.D. Jakes Foundation's second annual STEAM Expo, a hands-on event designed to spark curiosity and creativity in science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Hands-on learning inspires young minds Excited lines of kids and parents streamed into the venue, where they explored interactive booths, live demonstrations and family-friendly activities. Topics ranged from human anatomy and artificial intelligence to sports medicine and forestry. Five-year-old Leondri Stiggle was especially enthusiastic about the science experiments. "It feels hot, so hot! We made lotion, and it feels like it's juice," she said. Her father, Leon Stiggle, said he wished he had access to similar opportunities as a child. "When you start early, it always evolves into something better," he said. "It's good they have this program — shout out to T.D. Jakes. Appreciate it!" Juneteenth education adds cultural depth The event also featured educational exhibits on Juneteenth, including live actors portraying historical figures such as Fort Worth's Dr. Opal Lee, known as the "grandmother of Juneteenth." The Southwest Dallas County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. sponsored the exhibit. "We also have other living exhibits where you can learn about the Emancipation Proclamation and educational development," said chapter president Maiya Bangurah. Building a future-ready workforce Kelley Cornish, president of the T.D. Jakes Foundation, said the expo marked the nonprofit's 10th pop-up event in two years. "People don't realize what an incredible field this is," Cornish said. "We've learned that 2.4 million jobs go unfilled every year because there's no pipeline. We're starting early. Exposure to these careers can literally change a family's dynamic." The foundation's next event is scheduled for the fall.
