The study results will be published in four ISG Provider Lens™ reports: Insurance Global Capability Centers (GCCs) by Service Providers, Insurance GenAI and Agentic AI Services, Insurance Services Specialists and Insurance Digital Engineering Services. The reports are scheduled to be released in November 2025.

At the same time, digital engineering is transforming the industry by streamlining design-to-execution processes.
'Insurance enterprises are navigating a steep landscape of digital transformation, embracing advancements in AI and digital engineering,' said Iain Fisher, director at ISG. 'Providers play a crucial role in fostering these capabilities, ensuring that companies are equipped to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.'
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 100 providers for the four studies. They employ agentic AI, which autonomously orchestrates tasks and performs self-corrections, to optimize insurance workflows and processes.
Insurance Services Specialists: The report will assess companies delivering specialized services for life and retirement (L&R) and property and casualty (P&C) insurance operations and insurance ITO. It will include three quadrants:
Life and Retirement (L&R) Insurance Services Specialists, evaluating providers that offer L&R insurance operations outsourcing. These providers utilize intelligent automation, analytics and AI to enhance speed, cost efficiency and accuracy while supporting various operations across the L&R lifecycle.
Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Services Specialists, assessing providers that specialize in P&C insurance operations outsourcing, including consulting and managed services. These providers enhance operations by delivering speed, cost savings and accuracy, focusing on modernizing services and improving customer management and technology enablement in each functional area.
Insurance ITO Services Specialists, covering ITO providers that offer traditional and modern digital services. These providers are assessed based on their ongoing or implemented technology support and business transformation programs across the insurance value chain.
Insurance Digital Engineering Services: This report will assess providers of digital engineering services to insurance companies. It will include one quadrant:
Insurance Digital Engineering Services, evaluating providers that deliver integrated hardware and software for data-driven product development and feature augmentation services. These providers increasingly use industrial automation, GenAI and agentic AI to support insurance companies from product design to execution.
The reports will cover the global strategic insurance services market and examine products and services available globally. ISG analysts Ashish Jhajharia and Sandhya Hari Navage will serve as authors of the reports.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the studies are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as strategic insurance services providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

Trump's Tariffs Trigger Layoffs: Monopoly Maker Hasbro Slashes Jobs — These Companies Are Cutting Too
Benzinga and Yahoo Finance LLC may earn commission or revenue on some items through the links below. Monopoly maker Hasbro Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) announced that it has cut 3% of jobs amid higher tariffs on imports from China. Here's a list of five other publicly traded companies that have either reduced their workforce or intend to do so due to the impact of tariffs. What Happened: After announcing 900 job cuts in December 2023, the Hasbro management told Reuters that it laid off 150 employees or 3% of its workforce in its latest cost-cutting effort on June 18, 2025. According to its fiscal 2024 annual filing, the company had roughly 4,985 employees globally. The company CEO, Chris Cocks had hinted the same during the first quarter earnings call stating that 'Ultimately, tariffs translate into higher consumer prices, potential job losses as we adjust to absorb increased costs, and reduced profits for our shareholders.' Trending: Maker of the $60,000 foldable home has 3 factory buildings, 600+ houses built, and big plans to solve housing — He had also said during the same call that the expanded rate on imports from China 'is creating volatility and introducing a range of scenarios for how the year could unfold.' Apart from Hasbro, other firms that have reduced their workforce due to tariffs include; Stellantis NV (NYSE:STLA): The automaker announced temporary layoffs of 900 workers across five U.S. facilities due to production pauses at its Canadian and Mexican plants, directly linked to tariffs announced in April 2025. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF): The steelmaker laid off 1,230 workers, with 600 job cuts at its Dearborn, Michigan, plant and 630 at two iron ore mines in Minnesota, citing falling automotive demand due to tariffs on steel and auto imports. United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE:UPS): UPS announced expected layoffs of approximately 20,000 workers in 2025, citing "current macro-economic uncertainty" and reduced shipping volumes due to tariffs. Volvo ADR (OTC:VLVL): The company plans to lay off 550–800 workers at three U.S. facilities over three months, citing market uncertainty and reduced demand due to tariffs. Deere & Co. (NYSE:DE): The tractor manufacturer laid off 9 workers at its Ankeny, Iowa, facility, as per a Nation of Change report. The company expressed concerns about the impact of tariffs on production It Matters: President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs are on pause till July 9 while the administration is trying to strike deals with its trading partners. Trump declared a sweeping new trade agreement with China via Truth Social following two days of negotiations in London last week, suggesting major concessions from Beijing and lighter U.S. obligations. "Full magnets, and any necessary rare earths, will be supplied, up front, by China," Trump said, adding that the U.S. would reciprocate by allowing Chinese students access to U.S. colleges. The deal includes a significant tariff shift. The U.S. will continue applying tariffs totaling 55% on selected Chinese imports, while China will impose a 10% tariff rate on U.S. goods. TruGolf Announces Reverse Stock Split
Salt Lake City, Utah, June 18, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TruGolf Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUG), a leading provider of golf simulator software and hardware, today announced that it filed an amendment to its amended and restated certificate of incorporation with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware to effect a 1-for-50 reverse stock split of its Class A common stock. The reverse stock split will take effect at 12:01 am (Eastern Time) on June 23, 2025, and the Company's Class A common stock will open for trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market on June 23, 2025 on a post-split basis, under the existing ticker symbol 'TRUG' but with a new CUSIP number 243733409. As a result of the reverse stock split, every fifty shares of the Company's Class A common stock issued and outstanding prior to the opening of trading on June 23, 2025 will be consolidated into one issued and outstanding share. Proportionate adjustments will be made to the exercise prices and the number of shares underlying the Company's outstanding equity awards, as applicable, as well as to the number of shares issuable under the Company's equity incentive plans. The Class A common stock issued pursuant to the reverse stock split will remain fully paid and non-assessable. The reverse stock split will not affect the number of authorized shares of Class A common stock or the par value of the Class A common stock. No fractional shares will be issued if, as a result of the reverse stock split, a stockholder would become entitled to a fractional share because the number of shares of Class A common stock they hold before the reverse stock split is not evenly divisible by the split ratio. Instead, the stockholder will be entitled to receive a cash payment in lieu of a fractional share. As a result of the reverse stock split, the number of shares of Class A common stock outstanding will be reduced from approximately 40.5 million shares to approximately 0.8 million shares, and the number of authorized shares of Class A common stock will remain at 650 million shares.
