The bargain was spotted by a shopper in the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, who posted a picture of the furniture item.
They wrote: "Managed to grab one in my local Aldi, so pleased as almost half the price of other places at £17.99. 3 different designs to choose from."
Similar solar glass bird baths are on sale at other UK retailers for more than double the price.
For example, B&Q is selling a Taylor and Brown Solar Glass Bird Bath Fountain, with a hand-painted sunflower design, for £39.99.
Shoppers hailed Aldi's bird bath as "beautiful", with one replying to the Facebook post: "I want one".
Others had already snapped up the item from Aldi's middle-aisle.
One fan wrote: "I got the hummingbird one today - I love it, can't wait for it to light up tonight!"
However, some shoppers who had purchased the bird bath shared valuable tips on how to care for it and prevent damage.
"Don't leave them out over winter," one user said. "If the water freezes they crack. I've had two go on my over the years."
Another said: "Mine is fab keep in conservatory no prob."
Aldi is selling a 'rechargeable' essential for just $9.99 – shoppers say they'll be 'wearing one all day' this summer
The bird bath is made of a glass bowl and metal stand, and features six cool white LED lights. It is 53cm high and 35.5cm in width.
It's available in three animal-inspired designs - bee, hummingbird and peacock - while stocks last.
On its website, Aldi says: "Make sure the birds have a stylish and safe space included in your garden this summer with this Solar Bird Bath."
The product will only be available to buy in stores, however, as Aldi doesn't offer a home delivery service.
As well as the bird bath, Aldi is also selling a Solar Blossom Tree for £19.99, featuring 100 LED lights and pink cherry blossom style flowers.
You can find your nearest Aldi branch by using the retailer's store locator tool, found via stores.aldi.co.uk/store-finder.

How to save money on your food shop
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save hundreds of pounds a year:
Odd boxes - plenty of retailers offer slightly misshapen fruit and veg or surplus food at a discounted price.
Lidl sells five kilos of fruit and veg for just £1.50 through its Waste Not scheme while Aldi shoppers can get Too Good to Go bags which contain £10 worth of all kinds of products for £3.30.
Sainsbury's also sells £2 "Taste Me, Don't Waste Me" fruit and veg boxes to help shoppers reduced food waste and save cash.
Food waste apps - food waste apps work by helping shops, cafes, restaurants and other businesses shift stock that is due to go out of date and passing it on to members of the public.
Some of the most notable ones include Too Good to Go and Olio.
Too Good to Go's app is free to sign up to and is used by millions of people across the UK, letting users buy food at a discount.
Olio works similarly, except users can collect both food and other household items for free from neighbours and businesses.
Yellow sticker bargains - yellow sticker bargains, sometimes orange and red in certain supermarkets, are a great way of getting food on the cheap.
But what time to head out to get the best deals varies depending on the retailer. You can see the best times for each supermarket here.
Super cheap bargains - sign up to bargain hunter Facebook groups like Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK where shoppers regularly post hauls they've found on the cheap, including food finds.
"Downshift" - you will almost always save money going for a supermarket's own-brand economy lines rather than premium brands.
The move to lower-tier ranges, also known as "downshifting" and hailed by consumer expert Martin Lewis, could save you hundreds of pounds a year on your food shop.
Save money at Aldi
Keeping your eyes peeled for Aldi's Specialbuys is a great way to save money at the retailer.
It's also worth keeping an eye out for any red sticker products when you're doing your grocery shopping, which are added to items going out of date or that are slightly damaged.
It's best to get to your local store early if you're looking for discounts, as Aldi tends to add the stickers to items in the morning.
This also tends to be the best time to get middle-aisle bargains, with shoppers sometimes queuing as early as 4am for some products.
You can also look out for Too Good to Go bags, which cost just £3.30 with £10 worth of food approaching its sell-by or use-by date.

I put three new SPF sticks to the test for the summer – one option smells great and will get your whole family hooked
Read on to also find out the latest blush sticks that will instantly wake up tired complexions SUN-KISSED I put three new SPF sticks to the test for the summer – one option smells great and will get your whole family hooked Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CALL me a hypocrite. I hate SPF. I use it, of course religiously, but the residue left behind gives me the ick. Thankfully, there's whole a new breed of SPF sticks hitting shelves. I put three to the test. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 We put three SPF sticks to the test for the summer Budget Soltan Active 8 Hour Protect Suncare Stick SPF50+, £7 for 25g, boots 4 This Soltan SPF Stick is great value, but not the most sophisticated Credit: supplied On the outside, this stick looks to be the smallest of the three – but it actually has the most product inside. It's super-compact, making it great for popping into my handbag. The stick is quite hard, so it drags on skin, which slows down application and a few dandruff-like pieces flaked off, which meant I then needed to rub it in with my hands. This defeats the point somewhat, although it ensures you don't end up with stripes should you miss a section. It's great value, but not the most sophisticated. Mid-range Tocobo Cica Cooling Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++, £16 for 18g, boots 4 The Tocobo Cica Cooling Sun Stick truly feels invisible on skin Credit: supplied This is the latest stick to enter my stash, and it's gone straight into my handbag – it truly feels invisible on skin. Initially, the shape isn't great as it dips in the middle so you don't get even coverage, but after a couple of swipes the stick levels off. It promises to reduce skin temperature in just three seconds, and while I've not noticed the cooling effect promised, I'm convinced that the calming cica ingredient has helped take the sting out of a recent insect bite. I usually cannot stop itching them, and I didn't feel the need to at all while the SPF was on. Luxury Clarins Invisible Sun Care Stick SPF 50, £25 for 17g, Boots 4 The Clarins Invisible Sun Care Stick SPF 50 smells great and is suitable for sensitive skin Credit: supplied I first used this a couple of years ago, and in the time since I've got my whole family hooked. The stick is a transparent, orange hue so it doesn't leave any white cast behind, and you can see where you're applying it as it's shiny at first (although quickly absorbs into skin, so don't worry about it being sticky). It smells great, so you can skip wearing perfume over it as it reduces the effectiveness. It's still suitable for sensitive skin; mine is acne-prone and my mum has eczema, yet we're huge fans.
