'Cricket is something we all connect over, and this roadshow by 1win made that connection feel even more special. I loved seeing how excited people were when the trucks arrived—it was pure magic,' said Vishal Pandey.
Along the long road from Mumbai to New Delhi, 1win's blue trucks made more than just a journey—they delivered the joy of watching the 2025 Indian Premier League. Each stop along the route transformed into a vibrant celebration, complete with live screenings, cricket-themed games, giveaways, and surprise celebrity visits. In the evening, 1win turned trucks into open-air cinemas, streaming live IPL matches on big screens under the stars—free of charge for the public. This way, people without access to TVs or mobile data could join the national celebration and cheer for their heroes.
'It felt like we were on a real adventure—traveling from city to city, meeting so many amazing people, and watching cricket under the stars. I'll never forget the smiles we saw in those villages,' added Surbhi Jyoti.
With this IPL campaign, 1win not only carried gifts but also carried a message: cricket is more than a game—it is a reason to come together and get closer as a community.

Jaiswal, Gill with milestone tons on India's commanding day
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill scored prolific tons to shoulder India's batting push against England on the opening day of the five-match ICC World Test Championship series. Being put in to bat first by the home captain Ben Stokes, the duo scored their maiden tons in England to help India to 359/3 at Stumps. Jaiswal, who is playing his first Test in England, set a unique record en route to a special ton. The left-hander became the first Indian batter to score a century in his first ever Test in both England and Australia. Back in November 2024, Jaiswal had scored an emphatic 161 in his first Test in Australia to inspire India's famous win in Perth. Shouldering a lot of expectations going into his maiden tour of England, the opener meticulously crafted his fifth Test hundred at Leeds. Having gotten India off to a smooth start in the first session - adding 91 runs for the opening wicket with KL Rahul - Jaiswal went on to compile 101 runs off 159 deliveries. The innings included a whooping 16 fours and one maximum. It was Jaiswal's third century against England. His previous two had come in 2024, when the southpaw plundered a stunning 712 runs from the five-Test series at home - becoming only the second Indian batter to score more than 700 runs in one Test series. Accompanying him among the runs from the other end was Shubman Gill, who marked his first innings as India's Test captain in style. Gill, who scored his sixth Test ton, became only the fifth Indian batter to score a century in his first Test as captain. Player Opposition Venue (Year) Vijay Hazare England Delhi (1951) Sunil Gavaskar New Zealand Auckland (1976) Dilip Vengsarkar West Indies Delhi (1987) Virat Kohli Australia Adelaide (2014) Shubman Gill England Leeds (2025) The 25-year-old joined the exclusive club featuring Vijay Hazare, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper closed the day unbeaten at 127 off 175 deliveries, a knock laced with an equivalent 16 boundaries and one six as Jaiswal's. Alongside him in the middle, Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten at 65 off 102 deliveries, as India laid the foundation to set up a commanding first-innings total. Amazing film
One of the most entertaining films of Bollywood 'Hera Pheri' which was released in the year of 2000 will always be remembered for its comic timings. The film had Akshay Kumar, and Paresh Rawal. Three of them had managed to strike the chord with the audience. And we can't forget the presence of Paresh. He was hilarious. He was amazing. Even today after 25 years, the film's dialogues make us laugh and has become a subject of memes. I remember I watched that film in theatre a number of times in New Delhi. Then came 'Phir Hera Pheri ' in 2006. Audience loved that film too. But problem started when the makers decided to make third installment of it. During the IPL, a news came that "Hera Pheri 3" will soon go into the floor. Audience erupted with joy but in few weeks we got to know through media that veteran actor Paresh has decided to withdraw from the project. No body knows what happened but it is very sad indeed for fans. The film can't be possible without Paresh. The veteran actor is the backbone of the film and we can't visualise the film without him. Let's see what happens in the coming weeks. I hope the maker of the film managed to cajole Paresh Rawal to change his mind and return the join the team of 'Hera Pheri 3.' Tamanna Singh By email

Ranveer Singh enters the chat to promote Experience Abu Dhabi
Experience Abu Dhabi has launched a campaign targeting Indian travellers, starring Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and set entirely within the familiar digital setting of a family WhatsApp group chat. The campaign brings to life a behavioural truth: most Indian family holidays begin not at a travel agency or with a Google search – but with a message to the family group. With more than 500 million active users, India is WhatsApp's largest market globally, making it a natural storytelling platform for the campaign's concept. The campaign was developed by Serviceplan Middle East and produced by Déjà vu. It was supported by Spark Foundry, Ogilvy India and Memac Ogilvy. The video opens with Singh seated at a family dining table, excitedly announcing a holiday in Abu Dhabi. One by one, other family members begin to appear – both at the table and in the group chat – mirroring the way Indian families often plan trips through emojis, voice notes, and back-and-forth banter. Characters include a tech-challenged auntie who's always typing but never sending, a good-morning-forwarding uncle, and the younger, Gen Z cousins with cool filters and hotter takes. As each character weighs in, scenes shift fluidly from chat to real-world, showcasing what Abu Dhabi has to offer for every family member – from luxury shopping and theme parks to street food and serene beaches. The film closes with a cheerful CTA from Singh: 'Habibis, so when are you going to Abu Dhabi?' Beyond the film, the campaign extended into digital touchpoints with custom WhatsApp sticker packs featuring Ranveer Singh in playful poses and travel-themed captions like 'Flight mode: on' and 'No kaam, only araam. #InAbuDhabi.' These stickers were designed to organically integrate into Indian WhatsApp conversations, reinforcing both recall and relatability. 'A family holiday is not an easy agreement. Options are proposed, drafted like resolutions, debated in group chats, amended mid-call, and sometimes vetoed by the youngest delegate with the biggest opinions,' said Sajju Ambat, Director of Creative Strategy and Insights. The Ranveer Singh campaign recorded over 143 million impressions, 18.5 million video views, and 254,000 engagements across digital and social channels – highlighting the value of insight-led, culturally resonant creative in travel marketing.
