Tyson Fury refuses to leave any money to his kids despite astonishing net worth
The heavyweight boxing legend is taking on a brand new sporting role alongside some big names
Fury amassed a huge net worth over the course of his boxing career
Tyson Fury will take on a new sporting role this weekend as he takes charge of the England squad at Soccer Aid 2025 as part of a big-name coaching team.
The former world champion heavyweight boxer - who retired from boxing in January after a second straight loss to Oleksandr Usyk - will be in the dugout at Old Trafford alongside player-coach Wayne Rooney, as well as legendary Premier League manager Harry Redknapp, former England goalkeeper David James and actress Vicky McClure.

'The Gypsy King' will manage the likes of singer Tom Grennan, legendary Olympian Sir Mo Farah and former Lioness Jill Scott as they take on a World XI side led by Peter Schmeichel and Robbie Keane, and with the likes of Tony Bellew, Bryan Habana and Richard Gadd in their ranks.

"The prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight," said Fury when his role was announced in March.
"Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year, and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney."
"I hear a lot of talk of the Gypsy King returning to boxing," he said last month. "What would I return for? More boxing belts? I've won 22 of them.

"But I'm happy, I'm happy, contented with what I have achieved, what I've accomplished. I've been around the world and back again.
"And this is what retirement looks like for the Gypsy King. Not too shabby. I'm in no rush at all to come back [to] boxing and get my face punched in.
"For what? What would I return for? I ask that question. So here we are. I'm retired and I'm staying retired. I've got nothing to prove to anybody and nothing to return for."

As well as the multiple belts he won over the course of his glittering career, Fury also amassed a huge fortune, which is estimated to be as high as £180 million, according to the Daily Mirror.
Before his retirement, Forbes ranked him as the 42nd highest paid athete in the world for 2024, banking a cool $50 million (£39.5m) in that year alone, with a huge $42 million (£33.2m) of that sum coming from his fight earnings.
As well as the massive amounts he has banked from his heavyweight bouts - with the purse for his second fight with Usyk reported to be in the region of $150 million (£116 million) - Fury has also boosted his personal fortune with a number of high profile endorsements over the years.

The 36-year-old has worked with brands including WOW Hydrate, MTK Global and Lucozade Sport, while his family life was also the subject of the hit Netflix documentary 'At Home with the Furys'.
He also owns a number of sports bars, has helped to write three best-selling books and launched his own Furocity energy drink.
However, despite his massive fortune, Fury has said that he does not plan to leave any of his money to his seven children which he shares with his wife Paris.

'I want my kids to get their own money, do their own things and be their own people," he explained.
"I don't believe in just giving all your money to your kids but it will make them weak, spoiled and not value anything, worthless. They'll end up getting to 35 and never having done anything for themselves, apart from spending dad's money.
"They'll be middle-aged looking in the mirror and being disappointed. If I buy my son a Lamborghini as soon as he passes his test, he'll probably kill himself in it. But he also wouldn't appreciate it. But if he works hard and gets himself a 2004 Corsa, he will be outside washing the c*** out every day, hoovering it top to bottom. And I will be proud of him because he has done it himself.

"I will help them with business deals and investments," he added. "But I am not a person who will just give everyone an easy life. Hard work, dedication and sacrifice are what makes people strive for different things."

Rangers 'set' to offer Nicolas Raskin new deal amid interest

The Belgian has been linked with clubs in England and his former manager Philippe Clement even suggested he is ready to sign for a top half Premier League side after emerging as a leading player in the Gers squad last season. Raskin is currently contracted at Ibrox until 2027, meaning he would be heading into next summer's break with just a year left on his deal. The Scottish Sun is reporting new manager Russell Martin is keen to build his team around the 24-year-old and, as such, wants him tied down on a new contract. Sporting director Kevin Thelwell is on the same page and is ready to sanction an offer. Read more: Thelwell, along with the new US owners, want a far better player trading model in place. And committing Raskin to a new deal would be one step towards that. It would mean any interested clubs would then be aware they would be required to make a significant offer to prise him away. Discussions are yet to take place between Rangers chiefs and Raskin's representatives, but they are in the offing. It is believed the Belgium international is happy at Ibrox and keen to prolong his stay.

Frank Leboeuf slams 'foolish' Chelsea fans and sends warning after Flamengo loss

Frank Leboeuf branded anyone expecting Chelsea fans to challenge for major honours next season 'foolish' unless the club dramatically changes its transfer policy. After beginning their Club World Cup campaign with a win over Los Angeles FC, the Blues were handed a reality check by Flamengo last night. The Brazilian club recovered from the blow of conceding an early Pedro Neto goal and staged an impressive second half come back, eventually running out 3-1 victors. Chelsea finished last term in encouraging fashion, sealing Champions League qualification and winning the Conference League which sparked a defiant reaction from Enzo Maresca who had been regularly criticised over the course of a turbulent campaign. The arrival of Liam Delap in a 30million deal suggest Chelsea will persist with a policy of signing young, up and coming players which Leboeuf claims will continue undermine hopes of competing with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title. Speaking on ESPN FC, he said: 'Your main concern should be that we all know, because we've been football players, that they are fragile, they are not consistent. 'You know you don't know where you're going to go. One game is going to be perfect and three days after you're going to get something horrendous. 'You know this because they showed it during the season. They finished fourth because the league wasn't good last season and if you want too much and you expect too much from Chelsea you're a fool. 'You really are a fool because this thing is settled on something very fragile. 'They don't have as I have always demanded one or two experienced players where you can put the basics on. 'You are betting on young players who can do great things but can also suddenly lose it. As long as you are working that way it will go like this. It's hard to say next season is going to be different. 'No, it won't be different unless they buy the players I want and pray for deeply. But it's not going to happen, it's not their way of football.' Chelsea's naivety and impetuosity was summed up against Flamengo by Nicolas Jackson's needless red card. The Senegal striker was shown a straight red card – just four minutes after coming off the bench – for an aggressive studs-up challenge on Ayrton Lucas. That moment of madness came amid a calamitous six-minute spell in the second period in which the Blues also conceded two goals to surrender their half-time lead. It was also Jackson's second dismissal in just four appearances having also been given his marching orders for a forearm crack on Newcastle's Sven Botman in a Premier League match last month. 'I want to say sorry,' Jackson wrote on Instagram on what was a 24th birthday to forget. 'To the club, the staff, my teammates, and all the fans watching, I let you down. More Trending 'Another red card… And honestly, I'm so angry at myself. I work hard every day to help the team not to put us in this kind of situation. 'I still don't fully understand how it happened. But one thing is clear: it wasn't intentional. Just a moment in football that went the wrong way. 'No excuses. I take full responsibility. I'll reflect, I'll grow, and I'll come back stronger for the badge and for everyone who believes in me. Sorry. Sorry, Sorry.'
