Leeds United and Northern Ireland hero Stuart Dallas: ‘The togetherness at Euro 2016 was something special'
The former winger joins Keith Bailie and Steven Beacom to reflect on his incredible playing career that took him from Hagan Park in Coagh to Elland Road and the Premier League. The Cookstown man recalls life in the Irish League, working under Argentine manager Marcelo Biesla, the heartbreaking injury that ended his career and why Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville was wrong to call his challenge 'utter madness'. Dallas also reflects on the ninth anniversary of Northern Ireland's adventure in French. £1.5million bid from Championship club for Northern Ireland star rejected
The midfielder starred for Orient in League One this season, playing in the east London club's Play-Off Final defeat to Charlton. Now the 24 year-old could move to the club that tasted victory at Wembley last month. However, Nathan Jones' Charlton are just one of a handful of Championship clubs - including Sheffield United and Swansea City - keen to snap up the Manchester United youth product. Orient boss Richie Wellens believes Galbraith has the ability to play in the English top flight. 'There is no doubt in my mind that Ethan Galbraith is a Premier League player,' said Wellens earlier this season. Galbraith has won seven caps for Northern Ireland. Another Northern Ireland star who may be on the move is goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. His club Birmingham City are expected to sign England U21 international James Beadle on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, a move that would likely see Peacock-Farrell drop down to third-choice ahead of Birmingham's return to the Championship. Meanwhile, former Northern Ireland international Lee Hodson has signed for newly-promoted National League South club Totten. The 33 year-old was 24 caps for his country and was part of the squad at Euro 2016.
