Trailer For Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro's Action Thriller TIN SOLDIER — GeekTyrant
Here's a trailer for a upcoming action thriller titled Tin Soldier , which stars Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, Scott Eastwood, and John Leguizamo. With a great cast like that, you might expect a good movie, but this looks super generic! I'm not sure how they pulled that casting off!
The synopsis for the film reads: 'Jamie Foxx will put you under his spell in this cult compound extraction thriller. The Bokushi preaches to hundreds of war veterans, drawn to the promise of protection and purpose under him.
'Surrounded by his devout military-trained followers, he has built an impenetrable fortress & amassed an arsenal. After several failed infiltration attempts, the government – in the form of operative Emmanuel Ashburn – recruits Nash Cavanaugh, an ex-special forces asset, who was once a disciple of The Bokushi.
'Nash agrees to use his vulnerable past & insider knowledge of the enigmatic leader to finally get revenge on the man who took everything from him, including the love of his life.'
Tin Soldier is directed by Brad Furman (The Take, The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner) and it's set to be released direct-to-streaming in the UK on July 23rd, 2025.

Craig David on 7 Days, selling mixtapes, and his love of performing in Southampton
Craig David has a notoriously busy week, but luckily made time to talk to the Echo about his homecoming show this weekend. The Southampton local who shot to fame overnight in the early 2000s has long graced the RnB scene. He consistently champions is home city too, previously backing the bid for Southampton to be UK City of Culture and praising the pool of local musical talent. The 44-year-old singer, songwriter and DJ said he feels a 'flood of nostalgia' every time he reaches the roundabout at the top of The Avenue on approach to Southampton. 'The feeling of being home just hits every single time…being able to wrap that all up and bring it to the stage is important', he said. 'Specifically in Southampton, some of my tunes and songs mean a lot to people if I play them, for example my first song with Artful Dodger, that would mean a lot. 'People will say 'I remember when he did it on the mixtape and used to sell it at the barbers'. 'I am very excited and I never take the big hug and the love I get every time I come back to Southampton for granted.' David will be taking to the Summer Sessions stage on Guildhall Square on Saturday night, a big event that is proving popular year on year. READ MORE: Rag 'n' Bone Man opens Southampton Summer Sessions with a bang But for David, showcasing local talent is better than ever thanks to all the music venues in the city. He described the music industry as very 'London centric' in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He added: 'Growing up in Southampton I had the time and space to nurture my sound. 'We were on the pulse in being so close to London, which is why I think the music scene growing in Southampton was so poignant as it opened up the floodgates for musicians in other cities. 'The scene now in Southampton is thriving.' Speaking on his headliner gig on Saturday night, David said he is 'adamant' that he always wants to bring his classic songs to the stage, including 7 Days, the same way they were recorded. 'As it will be a TS5 DJ set, it will give me the freedom to interject with the original, do a remix, throw in an instrumental from another song, which is going back to what I did when I was DJ'ing on the south coast and making mixtapes in my bedroom', he said. And on the subject of 7 Days, it felt right to ask if, writing the song now, whether he would change any of the activities 25 years since its release. He said: 'That song lives in the space of me being 17 years old, looking out my bedroom window, thinking how my life would go down. 'It is the gift that keeps giving.' 'I was not being overtly vulgar in that song – I lived with my mum and had my grandma around so I needed it to have a filter and be cool', David joked.

Emily Ratajkowski Has ‘Zero Straight Men' In Her Life That Don't Serve a Specific Role
Emily Ratajkowski doesn't have any straight male friends—and she's perfectly okay with that. In a new interview with Elle UK, Ratajkowski declared she has 'zero straight men' in her life that fit that description. 'I still like men,' the 24-year-old model and actor told the publication. 'I just have zero straight men in my life, unless they're a romantic interest." She continued, 'In the hierarchy of needs, that's at the top of the pyramid, which is nice. [Men are] pleasure and fun, but not a part of my core. The rest of my life is community with other women and queer people, and being a mom.' Ratajkowski shares her four-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, with her former husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard. Following her divorce in 2022, she spent some time 'enjoying the freedom' of single life before jumping back into the dating scene. She was quickly linked with multiple A-list bachelors, eventually declaring that she attracts the 'worst' men during an episode of her podcast, High Low With EmRata. Now she says 'not centering men is wonderful,' adding, 'In general, in our world, men have somehow filed this space, but what I found instead of it is community.' Celebrity Splits Emily Ratajkowski Says It's 'Chic' to Be Divorced by 30 Amid Sophie Turner's Split From Joe Jonas 'Congratulations…congratulations.' That community includes longtime friend Lena Dunham, who wrote a part for the Gone Girl star in her upcoming Netflix series, Too Much—Ratajkowski's first significant acting role since 2019. 'I don't agree to a lot of offers,' she said. 'I really value control. In my 20s, I didn't have a lot of it in my career. Now, I like making things and I like not being an addition to them. With Lena, I got to shape the character so much, which was really fun. It gave me a bigger role than just an actor for hire.' According to Elle UK, Ratajkowski's character, Molly, is 'the model/influencer rebound girlfriend of the lead's ex-boyfriend.' Though the part was written for Ratajkowski—and with her input—it doesn't sound as if it's about her, especially not the woman she is at 34 years old. 'I'm fascinated with this decade of my life,' Ratajkowski says of her 30s. 'My mom had me at 39, and I remember she always romanticized her 30s as a time of self-exploration and power as a woman. I'm in the midst of it and really feel that way too.' Celebrity News Emily Ratajkowski Is the Latest to Blast Blue Origin's All-Female Space Flight: 'End-Time Shit' 'I'm disgusted.'
