Matthew Horne among all-star star cast announced for reprisal of Samuel Beckett classic

MATTHEW Horne has been announced among the cast of a new production of the Samuel Beckett classic Endgame.
Matthew Horne stars as Clov
The actor, who is well known for television roles in the likes of Gavin and Stacey and Agatha Raisin, joins an all star cast who have been assembled for the show, which will open in the Ustinov Studio at the Theatre Royal Bath this September.
Selina Cadell stars as Nell
Lindsay Posner will direct the production, which also features Douglas Hodge, Clive Francis and Selina Cadell among the cast.
Beckett's tale, written by the Irishman in 1957, is about a blind, paralysed, domineering elderly man named Hamm, his geriatric, dustbin-dwelling parents Nagg and Nell, and his servile companion Clov.
Douglas Hodge stars as Hamm
They live in an abandoned house in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, while they await their 'end'.
Hodge plays Hamm, Horne plays Clov and Francis and Cadell play the parents Nagg and Nell.
Clive Francis plays Nagg
Posner returns to the Ustinov Studio fresh from West End transfers of her recent plays Noises Off, A View From The Bridge and The Deep Blue Sea.
Endgame runs at the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath from September 4 to October 4.

In the early hours of Tuesday, at Pacha nightclub, The Sun released footage that allegedly showed McGregor appearing to peer down to address an unidentified man in the middle of the dancefloor. Merely moments later, the 36-year-old Irishman appears to throw two punches. The partygoer hit the deck, and onlookers have since come forward to recount their version of the alleged incident. One individual - who saw the whole thing - claimed there did not appear to be any consequences for the former dual-weight UFC champion. "Clearly something's been said to annoy him and he's reacted very badly. The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away," he told The Sun. "There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor." Another said: "About five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back. It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken." They added: "About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club, because he had annoyed Conor. It was right before close anyway. There was no messing around; they just removed him. Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy." The confrontation occurred just hours after McGregor was spotted on the island with TV personality Katie Price. The UFC star was wearing red shorts, a cap, and sunglasses, and puffing on a cigar. Price shared a photo of the two on her Instagram, captioning it: "You legend," after McGregor tagged her in his own story and wrote: "Forever." Tottenham defender and Austria international Kevin Danso also posted a picture with the former dual-weight UFC champion.
