I saw at Olly Murs at Glasgow's Hydro and he performed Scottish anthem
If it wasn't for a little X Factor audition back in 2009, the world of music might have never known Olly Murs.
Back then, he oozed with charisma as he tackled Stevie Wonder's Superstition in his audition.
Today, his appeal is still as strong as ever as he arrived in Glasgow to celebrate 15 years of hits.

Cheeky and always charming, the star casually stepped onto the Hydro stage to Troublemaker on Friday night.
Right Place, Right Time and debut Please Don't Let Me Go quickly followed with high-energy Murs bursting out the moves to the beat.
Smiling from ear to ear, he beamed: 'Honest to God, I think this is our fifth or sixth show, the tour starts now.
'Fifteen years I've been doing this, and Glasgow is always the best place for a show.'

This was something his support act Blue experienced as they soaked in the electric atmosphere ahead of his arrival.
Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Lee Ryan, and Antony Costa delighted fans with their biggest hits All Rise, Too Close, and You Make Me Wanna.
Ryan impressed with his vocals on Breathe Easy before Costa teased: 'For those who remember the early 2000s, we were a boyband.'
As if we could forget!

But the night was about Murs taking fans on a nostalgic trip throughout his career which included a performance of the 2014 duet with Demi Lovato, Up! He sounded exceptional.
Now 40, Murs' energy never fades. He delivers on performance and has an old-school feel to his act. He doesn't have to try to be cool or entertaining; he just is.

Always eager to please his fans, an eighties melody went down a storm with his rendition of The Proclaimers' I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Olly admitted he sang the song for his nana as a child.
He said: 'I couldn't wait to do that tonight.
'It means so much to me that song
'I know when I put it in the set and I come to Scotland, it was going to rock tonight and it did.'

Throughout the show, the set was spectacular, from eye-catching VTs and a moving walkway to smoke and flames, the production only enhanced the Olly Murs experience.
Wrapped Up, Heart Skips a Beat, and Dance With Me Tonight completed the night alongside the reggae-infused new song Save Me.

Lucy Spraggan reveals she can only speak to Simon Cowell via his partner Lauren Silverman for an unusual reason despite their close bond
Lucy Spraggan has revealed she can only speak to Simon Cowell through his partner Lauren Silverman despite their close bond. The singer, 33, and the music mogul, 65, have developed a good friendship over the years with Simon even walking Lucy down the aisle at her wedding to Emilia Smith. But contacting Simon doesn't come easy as the former X Factor star admitted he doesn't have his own mobile phone. Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I speak to Lauren all the time. But Simon hasn't got a phone so I speak to him when she's on the phone!' However, Lucy and her wife have stayed with Simon and Lauren in their luxurious homes in LA and the Cotswolds on several occasions and they've even gone on holiday to Barbados together. Lucy recalled: 'He read a poem at our ceremony, which was cute. And he said to me, 'I love seeing you this happy'. It appears Simon's son Eric is taking after his father in the music department as Lucy told how the 11-year-old gave her advice on her new album Other Sides Of The Moon which was released on Friday. She said: 'Eric actually gave me advice for the drums for this album. He's like a mini Simon. He's very funny. He's very, very smart and he knows exactly what he wants that kid.' The singer didn't meet Simon while she was taking part in The X Factor in 2012 because he wasn't a judge on her series. The pair didn't become friends until years later in 2021 after Simon reached out to her under less than happy circumstances. In 2023, Lucy revealed that during her time on The X Factor, she was raped by a porter in the hotel room where she was staying after partying with Rylan Clark. At the time, when she quit the show, it was said to be down to illness. Revealing the assault for the first time in her autobiography, Process, she explained the illness was the strong side effects of PEP medication - a drug given to her by doctors which can prevent someone contracting HIV. On why she decided to reveal the truth 11 years on, Lucy confessed: 'It was scary for sure, it was terrifying, but I knew that if I put it out there - everything - there was absolutely nothing I have to hide from. 'People picked up on that and they said "thank you for talking about this thing, or that thing, because it made me feel really full of shame, and I haven't got any shame about anything". 'And I think that's a nice place to be.' Simon later reached out and apologised for how she was treated on the ITV show, with Lucy then admitting: 'His apology healed a part of my being that I didn't know needed healing.' Asked how it felt receiving the apology, she mused: 'I think whether forgiveness is easy or not depends on the person. 'It's a lot easier to forgive somebody when they apologise, and that's something that's really big for me. I do a lot of work on forgiveness in general. 'They say like hating people is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. 'Truly in my life right now, there is nobody that I don't forgive and there's nobody that I don't wish, peace and health for in this world.' Lucy, who was previously married to Georgina Gordon before their split in 2019, told how she and Emilia have no plans to have children. Married life has inspired her music, witt the title of her latest album inspired by her love story. Discussing her relationship with her wife, she recently told MailOnline: 'We'd been friends for like 10 years. Then at the same time we looked at each other and thought "I'm in love with you." 'Then I wrote the song Other Sides Of The Moon and it's about looking at the same moon. 'We'd been looking at the same moon all the time, but we were just on other sides of it. Now we're on the same side.'

Lucy Spraggan has to go through close pal Simon Cowell's partner to speak to him
X Factor star Lucy Spraggan, who has enjoyed a successful career since appearing on the talent show in 2012, has kept a close friendship with music mogul Simon Cowell Lucy Spraggan has said that she has to "go through" Lauren to speak to Simon Cowell, despite him walking her down the aisle. Simon and Lucy have been close ever since she competed on The X Factor back in 2012, but she still doesn't have direct contact with him. Lucy has said that Simon never gets in touch first and when she wants to speak to him, she has to go through his partner Lauren. However, this is due to the fact that Simon doesn't have his own personal mobile phone. Simon is only contactable through his fiancée Lauren Silverman due to this. Despite not having regular contact over the phone, Lucy said that she and her wife Emilia Smith often stay with Simon and Lauren at their homes in LA and the Cotswolds as well as going on holiday to Barbados. Lucy told The Sun: "I speak to Lauren all the time. But Simon hasn't got a phone so I speak to him when she's on the phone!" Simon played a big role at Lucy's wedding last year. He walked the singer down the aisle as well as reading a poem at the ceremony. It was during a holiday when Simon was asked by Lucy to do the honour. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, the singer-songwriter said: "It's as nice to have a close bond with anyone. He's just a really remarkable guy, really individual person. "I speak about this a lot, there's a lot of people that have a lot of things to say about him, there's a bit of a mass perception that a lot of people can have and I can only go off the person that I've interacted with and I'll judge someone on their merit and how they've been with me. "I've had nothing but great times with Simon and had a lot of really important conversations, I think he's a great guy." Lucy was previously married to Georgina Gordon before they went their separate ways in 2019. The two of them talked about wanting to start a family together and they fostered 12 children during their six year marriage. However, Lucy has said now that she doesn't see children being in her future. She said: "I don't want kids. All of my friends that had kids are like, 'Luce - don't do it. I love them, but don't!' "Em has some health issues herself. And, like, I do music and I do my job so that I can experience peace in between. I feel like I couldn't give what I need to give to my career if I had a child, and I wouldn't have any f*****g peace If I had a child. It's dogs, dogs for me."
