Orange judge: School district had right to ban OnlyFans mom from volunteering
A judge ruled Orange County Public Schools had the authority to ban a mother from volunteering at her child's school after it was revealed she posted explicit content on the adult website OnlyFans.
Victoria Triece helped organize class parties and assisted in lab assignments at Sand Lake Elementary School, where her two children attended, as part of the district's ADDitions program. She had served as a volunteer for five years until an anonymous tipster in 2021 sent an email to the principal containing some of Triece's OnlyFans content. Then she was told she was no longer welcome.
Triece, who made international headlines after speaking out, sued two years later, accusing OCPS of violating her right to volunteer and denying her right to appeal the decision to ban her.
But the 22-page summary judgment by Judge Brian Sandor, filed Jan. 29, concluded she had no right to volunteer, and said that OCPS policies make mention of an appeals process only 'in the context of criminal history checks and an applicant's criminal history.' Even then, according to the ruling, school district policies found in court filings explicitly state that a volunteer's eligibility 'does not guarantee volunteer placement.'
'That policy does not include any language that confers any right or benefit upon an individual to participate in the program, to remain in the program, or to appeal a removal decision,' Sandor wrote. 'On these points, the policy is silent.'
The images sent to higher-ups at Sand Lake Elementary were from Triece's OnlyFans page, accessible to subscribers for a fee. When she was removed as a volunteer in 2021, Triece told reporters she always dressed appropriately on school grounds and that her day job was kept from the children. Mark NeJame, whose law firm represented Triece, blasted OCPS as being 'morality police' when the district banned her anyway.
The lawsuit further accused the district of violating Triece's right to privacy by circulating the photos to 'staff and employees that were not in need of the information,' but Sandor ruled that emails between district employees containing the images were sent 'for the purpose of carrying out OCPS's official business.' That includes releases of the email tip containing the images in response to public records requests by news outlets, including the Orlando Sentinel.
Other than that, Triece 'did not supply any evidence in support of her claim' that the photos were illegally disseminated, Sandor said. NeJame did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.
'It's just not fair at all,' Triece said in 2023. 'I don't want another mom, I don't want another dad, I don't want anybody to have to deal with not seeing their child when you aren't hurting anybody.'
Her lawyers said she did nothing illegal by appearing on OnlyFans, a site popular among sex workers. Her content also wasn't a secret — a search through Triece's public social media accounts reveal less explicit but still revealing photos and videos by the mother of two, who has since gone on to model for Playboy magazine.

Love Island's Georgia Harrison: 'I re-read my MBE letter three times'
The sexual abuse campaigner and former reality star Georgia Harrison has told the BBC she is "honoured" to be receiving an MBE. Harrison, 30, will be awarded for her efforts to tackle violence against women and girls, which includes working with the government on the Online Safety Act in 2023. She says she feels "a responsibility to help" the many women who are victims of crimes such as intimate image abuse and deepfaking. Her ex-partner Stephen Bear was jailed for 21 months in 2023 after uploading sexual footage of himself and Harrison to OnlyFans filmed without her consent. Harrison, who is being awarded her MBE as part of the King's Birthday Honours, said she had to re-read the letter she received from King Charles "three times" as she "just couldn't believe it". "It's definitely not something I anticipated and it feels nice to have my work recognised because with campaigning sometimes you feel like a lot goes unnoticed," she told the BBC. The former reality star appeared on ITV shows such as The Only Way is Essex in 2017 and Love Island in 2018, where she entered the villa as a bombshell and gained nationwide fame. It was during 2019 that she entered MTV's The Challenge, where she met fellow reality star Bear. The pair dated on and off for a few months, with Harrison discovering in December 2020 that the now 35-year-old Bear had uploaded intimate CCTV footage of them to streaming service OnlyFans without her consent. She subsequently reported the crime and Bear was sentenced after being found guilty of voyeurism and discussing private, sexual photographs and films. Harrison was then awarded compensation in a damages claim and said she would donate some of the £207,900 to charity. She says she often feels a "responsibility to help" as she worries about the increase of social media influencers fuelling misogyny and sexism. Harrison, who is currently expecting her first child, said: "I'd be scared to have a teenager right now, being completely honest, I really would be terrified". "We've seen with the rise of Andrew Tate and some men thinking the thing to do with women is to mistreat them and think they can do what they want with them," she said. She added she feels the need to let women know, "they deserve to be treated fairly, they deserve consent and the right to their own bodies". A recent poll of teachers in the UK found three in five believe social media use has had a negative effect on behaviour in schools - with Tate being named as a reason by a number of teachers in the poll. Harrison says she has been into some schools recently to watch consent workshops with primary school age children, describing them as "brilliant". She hopes that these type of lessons will have an impact for the next generation. "I'd like to think by the time my child gets to the age where consent becomes an issue, things are going to be a lot better, because we are doing something to educate around consent and that's something that's never really been done before in this generation," she added. Harrison says "on a positive note" women have told her case and "the strength you found" has encouraged them to take their perpetrators to court for causes of rape, domestic abuse and intimate image abuse. Since Bear's conviction in 2022, she has campaigned to increase the support for women and girls who have faced similar crimes to her by working on the Online Safety Act and as part of the Women and Equalities Committee. She says she has been working with the committee on improving timescales for women who want to report crimes against them - as currently they only have six months after a crime has taken place to tell the police about it. "It took me about four months to even realise a crime had been committed to me when it happened so its scary to think, had I been notified a few months later, I may not have had the right to justice. "It should be a lot easier for women out there," she added. Harrison says she has also been receiving more and more messages from victims of deepfakes, which are videos, pictures or audio clips made with AI to look or sound real. There have been recent concerns about schoolchildren using apps to distribute AI-generated deepfake content, despite the practice being illegal. The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) - a UK-based charity partly funded by tech firms - said in February there had been 245 reports of AI-generated child sexual abuse in 2024 compared with 51 in 2023, a 380% increase. "I think [deepfake] technology is getting a lot more impressive and easier to access," Harrison said. Earlier this year, the government announced laws to tackle the threat of child sexual abuse images being generated by AI, which include making it illegal to possess, create, or distribute AI tools designed to create such material. "Is this coercion?" Combs' ex said he asked her after leaving her covered with bruises last June. Combs' 2nd sex-trafficking accuser, "Jane" told a jury he then forced her to have sex with an escort. "Take this fucking pill," she said he demanded. "You're not going to ruin my fucking night." Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex told a federal jury Monday that the mogul once covered her face in bruises before posing a taunting question: "Is this coercion?" The rap mogul then demanded she put on makeup, pop an ecstasy pill, and have sex with a male escort, the woman, "Jane," testified, describing a June 2024 dinner date at her Los Angeles home. "Take this fucking pill. You're not going to ruin my fucking night," Jane, who is testifying under a pseudonym, said Combs demanded as she screamed, "I don't want to! I don't want to!" Through this harrowing testimony, Jane became the second of Combs' ex-girlfriends, after R&B star Cassie Ventura, to take the stand at his Manhattan trial and describe being sex trafficked through coercive violence. "He just looked at me, right in my face," from an inch away, his voice "forceful," Jane said, when lead prosecutor Maurene Comey asked her to describe how Combs appeared and sounded when he asked her, "Is this coercion?" It was the third day of testimony for Jane, who described herself as an OnlyFans lingerie model and the single mother of a child fathered by one of Combs' rap world rivals. She dated Combs between 2021 and 2024. Jane told the jury Monday that while she took the ecstasy pill on that violent night, she did not answer Combs' question about coercion. Instead, only three months later, federal prosecutors would answer the question for her. Combs would be indicted in September 2024 on racketeering and sex trafficking. Both Ventura and Jane were sex trafficked by means of Combs' false promises, violence, and coercion, according to the indictment. The legal definition of coercion includes any scheme or pattern that causes someone to fear serious harm. Defense lawyers argue that there was no coercion because the sex was consensual. They say that this is borne out by years of texts and emails in which Ventura and Jane display enthusiasm for these drug-fueled nights of sex with as many as three men, plus Combs himself. The racketeering allegations against Combs include bribery and witness tampering, and here Jane's testimony from Monday could also help prosecutors. Jane told the jury that in the days after Ventura filed her explosive November 2023 lawsuit, Combs threatened to send her sex tapes to the father of her child, offered her cash, and pleaded, "I need your friendship." "Charge me. Charge me, so we can just move on," Jane testified that a desperate-sounding Combs told her during a FaceTime call. "He was wanting me to come up with some sort of number," Jane told the jury, describing what she called a rejected offer to pay for her silence. The Ventura lawsuit quickly upended Combs' life and his multimillion-dollar music and lifestyle empire. In it, Ventura accused Combs of forcing her to have sex with male escorts while he watched, masturbated, and filmed. These so-called "freak off" performances involved heavy drug use and lasted for days, Ventura said in the suit, previewing her own testimony at the start of the trial. The lawsuit, which settled the next day for $20 million, was the catalyst for dozens of similar lawsuits and for the indictment itself. "I just reacted, like, I can't believe I'm reading my own story," Jane told the jury Monday, tearfully describing her reaction to reading Ventura's lawsuit for the first time. "I almost fainted," she told the jury. "In fact, I think I did." Combs' reaction to the lawsuit was more extreme than Jane's own, veering, in her description to the jury, from anger to accusation to fear. Before Ventura's lawsuit, Combs would react with scolding denials when she told him she wanted to stop what she called "hotel nights" and to enjoy romantic dinners and trips instead. "You're tripping," he would tell her, according to the texts shown in court. "Please, woman," and "You're fucking crazy," he'd tell her. "So, we're breaking up?" he'd threaten. But in the days after the Ventura lawsuit, Jane couldn't bring up "hotel nights" without Combs asking if she was out to get him. "You trying to set me up?" he asked her in one November 2024 phone call that was recorded by Combs, later recovered from the phone of his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, and played Monday for the jury. "You recording my phone calls?" he demanded. Jane testified she was not — and that she had no idea that Combs was the one making a recording. In one of two recorded calls, Combs attempted to spin their nights together as "Just some kinky shit that I thought that we, you know, we both enjoyed." When Jane answers, "I just want you to know that's not how I saw things," Combs asks again, "Are you recording me?" Jane's cross-examination is set to begin on Tuesday and may last through Thursday.
