(NewsNation) — Huma Abedin is finally getting what she wants.
The former wife of disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner is set to marry an actual billionaire at the end of the month … and now runs the Democratic Party inside circle, sources say.
'She is marrying Alex (Soros), who now controls the Soros Foundation and is the biggest power in the Democratic Party,' a source told me. 'Huma will be, by marriage, just as powerful, if not more than him, due to her contacts.'

As if to put the contacts on display, Abedin dined with former Senator and boss Hillary Clinton and George Clooney's wife, Amal, at the Polo Bar in New York City last week.
'There were secret security and bodyguards everywhere,' my spy said. 'They were just huddled together at a table talking.'
Amal Clooney is, of course, the wife of George Clooney, whom people in the Democratic Party mysteriously consider a heavyweight, despite normal Americans not wanting their votes dictated to by a multimillionaire Hollywood actor.
He also wrote the scathing takedown of Joe Biden in The New York Times last year ('I Love Joe Biden, But We Need A New Nominee') that many point to as the final reckoning for President Biden's reelection hopes.
Clooney was later blamed, as well as others in the Democratic Party, for Biden's cover-up, as he admitted in the piece, he had seen Biden's demise up close and had not acted sooner. But still, it is Abedin (soon to be Soros), Clinton and Clooney who are considered the female triumvirate of the Democratic Party.
'If these people are picking the new party head, we are in trouble,' said an insider.
Abedin is marrying the young Soros heir on June 14 in the Hamptons, and the Democratic royalty will all be there … I can only imagine what 'plans' are afoot to revive the party.

Former Texas Republican U.S. Rep. Blake Farenthold, who left Congress amid sexual harassment allegations, has died. He was 63. He died in a Corpus Christi hospital and suffered heart and liver problems in recent years, Steve Ray, his former longtime political consultant, said. He said in the video that if he stayed in Congress, he would have spent months trying to vindicate himself. 'We all make mistakes,' Ray said Saturday. 'He made some mistakes.' Ray described him as a 'techie' who was interested in the internet and technology before getting involved in politics. 'He did a tremendous job as congressman for this area,' Ray said, noting that Farenthold cared about fighting crime and promoting transparency. 'His heart was really always in the right place.' Before becoming a congressman, Farenthold was a sidekick for a conservative radio talk show host, Ray said. 'When he decided to run, nobody in the world thought he was going to win,' Ray said. When he left office, he started his own radio show until he died. In addition to his wife, Farenthold is survived by two adult daughters, Morgan Baucum and Amanda Lawrence, Ray said. Error! Rejecting Trump's rhetoric, Maine's governor heads to Maritimes to build ties
HALIFAX - Maine's governor is heading to the Maritimes next week with hopes a charm offensive will slow the rapid drop in Canadian tourist visits to her state. In a release issued Friday, Janet Mills says she's aware the historically close relationship between New England and its northern neighbours has been challenged by U.S. president Donald Trump's tariffs and his rhetoric about Canada becoming the 51st state. According to U.S. federal border crossing data released Friday, 85,000 fewer Canadians entered Maine in May than in the same month a year ago, a drop of about 27 per cent. The governor says she will spend three days meeting with premiers, appearing in local media and visiting businesses in hope of sending a message that Maritimers remain 'welcome in Maine' despite Trump's trade policies. On Monday, the governor will stop in Saint John, N.B., where she intends to visit businesses with links to Maine and she then will travel to Fredericton to hold talks with New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt. On Wednesday, Mills will meet with Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston in Halifax and tour a marine technology centre. Last month, the governor unveiled new, bilingual signs welcoming Canadian visitors, which are being placed in windows around the state. On June 13, in her weekly radio address, Mills said she wants to ensure the 'historic friendship and deeply intertwined economies last for generations to come.' 'It's not just our economies – we are connected so deeply by mutual economic advantages and on centuries-old familial, cuisine, language, and cultural bonds that far supersede politics,' she told her listeners, reminding them that Canada is the United States' closest and most important trading partner. The Democratic Party member said Trump's 'roller coaster tariffs' are unsettling business in her state and 'making our Canadian neighbors feel unwelcome in the United States.' In 2024, nearly 800,000 Canadian visitors spent approximately US$498 million in Maine, according to the state's Office of Tourism. Overall, the data showed Maine welcomed 14.8 million visitors, who spent more than US$9.2 billion, supporting 115,900 jobs and generating US$5.4 billion in wages.
