ITV Good Morning Britain segment pulled off air as Ranvir Singh forced to stop sweary report

Daily Record10-06-2025

ITV GMB's Ranvir Singh had to step in and cut the report.
ITV Good Morning Britain had to cut one of its live reports today after explicit language could be heard in the background. During Ranvir Singh's news segment she was joined by the North America correspondent Noel Phillips, who was discussing the national guard troops in LA for the ICE protests.
However in the background of the reports, the protestors in LA were heard using a number of explicit words as Donald Trump sends another 2,000 National Guards and 700 Marines to LA on the fourth day of unrest, writes The Mirror.

As the report rolled, it was quickly cut as Ranvir stepped in saying: "I'm just going to interrupt that - I think we could hear some profanities being spoken. That's my understanding of what's going on there near Noel and we can't really broadcast that at quarter past eight in the morning. We're going to try to get back to him."
Fans took to social media to talk about the on air mishap, one fan penned: "Who would think it be a good idea to be in the middle of the protesters that are angry…"
The moment comes after Noel opened up about being shot with a rubber bullet while covering the chaos live from Los Angeles on Monday, leading to his need for medical treatment.
Susanna asked Noel about the incident, she said: "You found yourself in the line of fire yesterday, didn't you? Just before your report at eight o'clock.
"We had no idea at the time. We've seen a number of reporters, in fact you reported on one yesterday morning of a photographer who had been hit, what happened to you?"

Speaking about the incident, Noel said: "Susanna and Richard, just 10 minutes before coming on air yesterday, I was on the floor talking to several protesters. I was on the floor because it was the best place to be, given the fact that the situation around us was so volatile, officers were obviously chasing protestors on the streets."
He further described the moment of impact, saying: "As I was laying on the floor, I felt as though an enormous ton of bricks had fallen on my arm. I realised, within about 20 to 30 seconds, that a rubber bullet had grazed the top layer of my skin and had caused a bit of injury.
"My arm was swollen, I went to the doctors, got it checked out, it wasn't broken at all. But, it was swollen, it still is swollen and it's in a bandage at the moment.
"It's pretty surreal to be hit, but relieved as it could have been worse. These rubber bullets are less lethal than a bullet but they can kill you or seriously injury you."

Pervert teaching assistant cries 'no' as he's arrested over sick videos of schoolgirls

Keiron Pickett, 24, had six videos stored on his iPhone, along with a collection of indecent images and disturbing notes about his students. A teaching assistant was caught filming a series of vile videos at the school where he worked, secretly recording up the skirts of Year 7 girls. Perverted Keiron Pickett had six such videos stored on his iPhone, along with a collection of indecent images and disturbing notes about his students. When officers arrived at the 24-year-old's home to arrest him, he cried "F***, no, no, no" and threatened to kill himself. ‌ Pickett's crimes were uncovered after Instagram flagged his "SniffSmoke0151" account and reported it to Merseyside Police on September 9, 2024. As reported by the Echo, Pickett, of Withington Road in Speke, Liverpool, had been linked to the account through his email address. ‌ On Friday, Prosecutor Cheryl Mottram told the city's Crown Court that his behaviour quickly "became more erratic," and he had to be handcuffed after making threats to kill himself. He did, however, hand over the password to his iPhone. Inside the device, officers uncovered 62 indecent images and one video in category A - the most extreme classification of abuse - along with 28 images and one video in category B, and 192 category C images. In addition to the six upskirting clips, Pickett had also saved a number of handwritten notes on the phone, which his own legal team described as 'fantasy letters' about his young pupils. He had also carried out several disturbing searches on TikTok related to children. The teaching assistant broke down in tears as he was locked up yesterday. Pickett, who has no previous convictions, was employed at the school in question via an agency between September 2023 and January 2024. Charles Lander, defending, told the court that his client had since completed a series of courses aimed at rehabilitating sex offenders, adding: "It is clear that he will find benefit in this. "He makes candid admissions. The realisation of what has happened to him would be difficult for anyone facing their first custodial sentence, but it is often more difficult for individuals with this kind of offending. He has got his head down. Your honour will have read about the death of his father and issues in his background during his childhood. But, ultimately, he engaged in the behaviour he did." ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. Pickett admitted operating equipment under clothing without consent, taking indecent images of children, five counts of making indecent images and possession of cannabis. Appearing via video link to HMP Liverpool wearing a grey Under Armour t-shirt, he was seen wiping tears away before nodding as he was jailed for 20 months. Sentencing, Recorder Mark Ainsworth said: "You were employed as a teaching assistant. Plainly, that is a position of trust for two reasons. The students you were teaching were children, and, also, they had complex learning needs. In both ways, they could be regarded as vulnerable. ‌ "You were arrested. Your initial response was to panic. You were visibly distressed, and well you might have been, given that you knew what the police were about to discover. "Needless to say, behind each and every image was a child being sexually abused, some of those images showing the most serious forms of sexual abuse. These images do not show a victimless crime, far from it. The assumption has to be made that, if it was not for people like yourself providing a marketplace for such images, that abuse would not take place. "They were but part of what was discovered by the police. It is clear that, not only had you been downloading indecent images of children from the internet, you had been taking indecent photographs of children yourself. You had been abusing your position of trust at the school to take photographs of the very children you were there to look after and educate. "The notes you made at this time demonstrate what was going through your mind. I hope that you do not need me to tell you how abhorrent this sort of conduct is regarded by society." Pickett was also handed a 10-year sexual harm prevention order. He will be required to sign the sex offenders' register for the next decade.

Parents of baby decapitated during birth betrayed after doctor posts graphic pics

"Graphic and grisly" footage from the baby's post-mortem was shared on Instagram. The parents of a baby who was tragically decapitated during childbirth have been awarded millions after a pathologist shared graphic footage of their son's post-mortem examination online. Jessica Ross and Treveon Taylor Sr. were unable to see their first child - whom they called Treveon Isaiah Taylor Jr. - following his birth on July 10, 2023. He had become stuck behind her pelvic bone after several hours of labour. ‌ Medics did not tell the couple his head had been severed during the delivery, according to court documents. They later hired pathologist Dr Jackson Gates, after a funeral home informed them of the condition of their son's body. ‌ However, he shared a video of the baby's body on social media, showing "graphic and grisly detail of post-mortem examination" and his "decapitated, severed head", according to lawyers for the parents. Although he deleted the video from Instagram, he posted a further two just a few days later, all of which the couple said were shared without their permission, the Mirror reports. Cory Lynch, a lawyer for the couple told Fox 5 Atlanta: "For him to post these images and videos without permission was insane to us. "And especially with the nature of the posts... of the grisly details of the autopsy examination and also pictures of the child's head. It was baffling that he would do something like that." In September 2023, Ms Ross and Mr Taylor took legal action against Gates and the firm Gates Rapid Diagnostic Laboratory of Atlanta. The doctor did not respond, leaving the State Court in Fulton County, Georgia, to decide the case. ‌ The pathologist's lawyer Ira Livnat, who was hired after the court's decision, claimed this resulted in the case ending in favour of the parents, stating: "The plaintiffs got the absolute best case." On Wednesday, June 19, the court awarded Ms Ross and Mr Taylor $2.25million (£1.6million). Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! A statement from the couple's lawyer said: "While we are pleased that a jury punished Dr. Jackson Gates for his reprehensible behavior, nothing can ease the pain that the parents, Jessica Ross and Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr., have experienced in losing their baby boy in such a horrific way." ‌ "After the decapitation of their baby, Gates poured salt into the couple's already deep wounds when he betrayed them. "This young couple trusted him with the remains of their precious baby. Gates, in turn, repaid this trust by posting horrific images of their child for the world to see." A lawyer for Gates said the doctor "deeply, deeply regrets any harm" but in a social media post that has since been removed, he called the outcome "a complete miscarriage of justice" declaring that he intended to appeal the decision. Gates said he still shares post-mortems online, according to Atlanta News First.
