Authorities in Abu Dhabi have shut down a poultry farm in the UAE capital for posing a "significant risk to public health" on Wednesday. In a post on Instagram the authority confirmed that Al Fayrooz poultry farm in Al Ajban violated food safety rules. Abu Dhabi Shuts Down Restaurant Over Repeated Food Safety Violations

Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the administrative closure of 'Spicy Tamil Nadu Restaurant LLC' on Hamdan Street, citing violations of Law No. (2) of 2008 on food regulations in the emirate and associated legislation, as well as posing a risk to public health. ADAFSA confirmed that the closure will remain in effect until the violations are rectified and the establishment meets all necessary requirements to resume operations. The authority emphasized that the legal action is part of ongoing inspection efforts to uphold food safety standards in Abu Dhabi and ensure compliance across all food establishments. It reiterated that all businesses, regardless of their nature or products, are subject to routine inspections to verify adherence to food safety regulations.
