While eyes turn to Iran, Israel commits massacre in Gaza killing 92 aid seekers in a day
ALBAWABA- As global attention focuses on the escalating Iran-Israel confrontation, Israeli occupation forces have carried out one of the deadliest assaults in Gaza in weeks, killing 92 Palestinians in a single day, most of them aid seekers and displaced civilians. Gaza health authorities report that 64 were killed in Gaza City and northern Gaza alone, with dozens more wounded or missing. The toll includes children, women, and the elderly. Disturbing footage has emerged from Al-Shatee camp showing an aid seeker burning alive, and another child lying in a pool of blood. He also documented a massacre near Al-Omari Mosque in Jabalia al-Balad, where 11 civilians were killed and dozens wounded. Jabalia has faced relentless shelling for days, with civilian homes systematically bombed. Despite this, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to present Israel as the victim following Iran's retaliatory missile strikes, claiming Iranian targeting of the Soroka military hospital was a war crime, while ignoring Israel's own documented attacks on dozens of hospitals in Gaza and even strikes on Farabi Hospital and the Iranian Red Crescent.

Death and destruction in Gaza as Israel targets residential areas and aid teams
Published May 23rd, 2025 - 09:24 GMT ALBAWABA - Numerous Palestinians, including those in charge of guarding humanitarian assistance operations, were killed and injured as Israeli troops stepped up their airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Friday. Over fifty individuals have been confirmed killed or missing in a fatal attack that struck a multi-story residential structure owned by the Dardouna family in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the enclave, according to Gaza's Government Media Office. Rescue and recovery operations are still underway at the area, with civil defense and medical personnel operating under extreme constraints. Recent days have seen many bombardments on the northern town of Jabalia, which have left scores dead and numerous more injured. In another occasion, another Israeli attack in central Gaza's Deir al-Balah killed six members of the assistance security team. In the meanwhile, an Israeli attack on a private flat close to the Abdel Aal crossroads on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City killed four more Palestinians, including two children.
