في ضوء اتصالات د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة مع نظرائه من الدول المختلفة متابعة عبده الشربيني في ظل التطورات الإقليمية المتسارعة وتصاعد حالة التوتر لحدود غير مسبوقة في الشرق الأوسط نتيجةً للعدوان الإسرائيلي على الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، يؤكد السادة وزراء خارجية كل من المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، ومملكة البحرين، وبروناي دار السلام، وجمهورية تركيا، وجمهورية تشاد، وجمهورية جامبيا، والجمهورية الجزائرية الديمقراطية الشعبية، وجمهورية القمر المتحدة، وجمهورية جيبوتي، والمملكة العربية السعودية، وجمهورية السودان، وجمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية، وجمهورية العراق، وسلطنة عمان، ودولة قطر، ودولة الكويت، ودولة ليبيا، وجمهورية مصر العربية، والجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية، على ما يلي: ▪ رفض وإدانة الهجمات الإسرائيلية ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية منذ فجر يوم 13 يونيو 2025 وكذلك أية ممارسات تمثل خرقاً للقانون الدولي ومبادئ ومقاصد ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وضرورة احترام سيادة الدول ووحدة أراضيها ومبادئ حُسن الجوار وتسوية النزاعات بالسبل السلمية. ▪ الإعراب عن القلق البالغ حيال هذا التصعيد الخطير، والذي ينذر بتداعيات جسيمة على أمن واستقرار المنطقة بأسرها، والتأكيد على ضرورة وقف الأعمال العدائية الإسرائيلية ضد إيران، والتي تأتي في توقيت يشهد فيه الشرق الأوسط مستويات متزايدة من التوتر، وأهمية العمل على خفض التوتر وصولاً إلى وقف لإطلاق النار وتهدئة شاملة. ▪ التأكيد على أهمية إخلاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل وفق القرارات الدولية ذات الصلة ودون انتقائية، والتشديد على ضرورة سرعة انضمام كافة دول المنطقة إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية. ▪ التشديد على ضرورة عدم استهداف المنشآت النووية الخاضعة لضمانات الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وفق قرارات الوكالة وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة لما يمثله ذلك من خرق سافر للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني بموجب ميثاق جنيف لعام ١٩٤٩. ▪ ضرورة العودة لمسار المفاوضات في أسرع وقت ممكن باعتباره السبيل الوحيد للتوصل إلى اتفاق مستدام حول البرنامج النووي الإيراني. ▪ التشديد على أهمية احترام حرية الملاحة في الممرات المائية الدولية وفقاً لقواعد القانون الدولي ذات الصلة، وعدم تقويض أمن الملاحة الدولية. ▪ التأكيد على أن السبيل الوحيد لحل الأزمات في المنطقة يتمثل في الدبلوماسية والحوار والالتزام بمبادئ حسن الجوار وفقاً لقواعد القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، والتشديد على أنه لا يمكن تسوية الأزمة الراهنة بالسبل العسكرية. ************ Joint Statement ـــــ In light of the rapidly evolving regional developments and the unprecedented escalation of tensions in the Middle East, particularly owing to the ongoing military aggression of Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Foreign Ministers of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of Chad, the Union of the Comoros, the Republic of Djibouti, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Gambia, the Republic of Iraq, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of the Sudan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates hereby affirm the following: • The categorical rejection and condemnation of Israel's recent attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran since the 13th of June 2025, and any actions that contravene international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, while emphasizing the necessity of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, adhering to the principles of good neighbourliness, and the peaceful settlement of disputes. • The imperative need to halt Israeli hostilities against Iran, which come during a time of increasing tension in the Middle East, and to work towards de-escalation, to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire and restoration of calm, while expressing great concern regarding this dangerous escalation, which threatens to have serious consequences on the peace and stability of the entire region. • The urgent necessity of establishing a Middle East Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction, which shall apply to all States in the region without exception in line with relevant international resolutions, as well as the urgent need for all countries of the Middle East to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). • The paramount importance of refraining from targeting nuclear facilities that are under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards, in accordance with relevant IAEA resolutions and United Nations Security Council decisions, as such acts constitute a violation of international law and international humanitarian law, including the 1949 Geneva Conventions. • The urgency of a swift return to the path of negotiations as the only viable means to reach a sustainable agreement regarding the Iranian nuclear program. • The importance of safeguarding the freedom of navigation in international waterways per the relevant rules of international law, and refraining from undermining maritime security. • That diplomacy, dialogue, and adherence to the principles of good neighbourliness, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, remain the only viable path to resolving crises in the region, and that military means cannot bring about a lasting resolution to the ongoing OIC Announces Its Stance on Plans to Displace Palestinians - Jordan News
The final statement of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting emphasized the absolute rejection and firm opposition to plans aimed at displacing Palestinians. In detail, the emergency ministerial meeting of the OIC, held on Friday evening, adopted the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, prepared by Egypt, and reiterated its absolute rejection of plans to displace Palestinians. The final statement of the meeting, hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, called on the international community and regional and international financing institutions to promptly provide the necessary support for the plan. It also emphasized the importance of launching a political consensus track to achieve a permanent and just solution that fulfills the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people in establishing their own state. The meeting also condemned Israeli attacks on Syria and its incursions into its land in its final statement. Egyptian Foreign Minister, بدر عبد العاطي, praised the OIC meeting for adopting the Arab plan. He stated in comments after the meeting that the next step is for "the plan to become an international plan, through adoption by the European Union and international parties such as Japan, Russia, China, and others." He stressed that "this is what we will strive for, and we are in contact with all parties, including the U.S." Last Tuesday evening, the emergency Arab summit on Palestine in Cairo emphasized, in its final statement, the utmost priority to complete the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, leading to a permanent halt to Israeli aggression on Gaza and the complete withdrawal of Israel from the area. The summit adopted a plan prepared by Egypt for the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing Palestinians, spanning five years at a cost of $53 billion. However, Israel and the United States rejected the plan and insisted on following the plan of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Since January 25, last year, Trump has been promoting a plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan, which both countries have rejected, with other Arab countries and regional and international organizations also joining in the opposition.
