Ministry seizes 5 falcons at Hamad International Airport due to non-compliance with legal regulations
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change announced on 20 May 2025 that it had seized five falcons at the Hamad International Airport due to non-compliance with legal regulations regarding the entry of wildlife into the country.
تمكنت وزارة البيئة والتغير المناخي، من ضبط ومصادرة خمسة صقور، في مطار حمد الدولي، وذلك لعدم استيفائها للضوابط والإجراءات القانونية المنظمة لدخول الكائنات الفطرية إلى البلاد.

The seizing is in line with the framework of the Wildlife Development Department's efforts to activate and enforce Law No. (5) of 2006, regulating trade in endangered species and their products.
