Israel issues evacuation warning for residents of Ain Qana, South Lebanon
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent evacuation warning on Thursday to residents of Ain Qana in southern Lebanon. According to the statement, those in buildings marked in red, as well as nearby structures, were warned that they were near "Hezbollah facilities." Sudan declares UAE an aggressor, cuts ties amid rising tensions
Published May 6th, 2025 - 07:10 GMT The announcement came just an hour after a video was released from Port Sudan showing the Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, standing before a backdrop of flames, vowing that 'the hour of retribution will come.' ALBAWABA- In a dramatic shift, Sudan has severed diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates and formally designated it an 'aggressive state,' accusing Abu Dhabi of undermining Sudanese sovereignty. The decision was announced by the Security and Defense Council, which also invoked Article 51 of the UN Charter to affirm Sudan's right to defend itself by all means necessary. The announcement came just an hour after a video was released from Port Sudan showing the Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, standing before a backdrop of flames, vowing that 'the hour of retribution will come.' Sudan's government has ordered the closure of its embassy and consulate in the UAE and emphasized that the move aligns with the demands of the Sudanese people.
