Israeli army strikes inactive nuclear reactor in Arak, Iran: Avichay Adraee
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on X that the Israeli military struck an inactive nuclear reactor in the Arak region of Iran overnight. Adraee stated, ''Construction of the reactor began in 1997 but was never completed due to international pressure. In recent years, the Iranian regime had worked to convert the facility into a reactor capable of producing plutonium. However, Iran deliberately avoided completing the conversion to use it as leverage against the West.'' Adraee added that the strike aimed to prevent Iran from acquiring the capability to activate the reactor.

'We Killed Him': Who did Iran eliminate - and why Is Israel hiding his identity?
ALBAWABA - On social media, a mysterious post made by the official "Iran in Arabic" accounts on Facebook and X has sparked a lot of conjecture. The statement was sent in the early hours of Monday in response to Iran's missile strikes on Tel Aviv, but it did not identify the target. It simply said, "Allahu Akbar.. We killed him." Thousands of users questioned whether the tweet was a reference to a high-profile assassination, sparking a flurry of replies. Given their involvement in the ongoing battle in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir soon came under scrutiny. Many users believed the mysterious remark was a reference to Ben-Gvir, who is known for his radical language and incitement to escalate the conflict, or Netanyahu, whom they called a "war criminal." During a severe information blackout enforced by Israeli authorities, a security source apparently told "Iran in Arabic" that a senior Israeli security figure had been slain in southern Israel, while the message remained purposefully ambiguous. الله اكبر .. لقد قتلناه.! — الاحداث الايرانية (@amar_teCh088) June 16, 2025 As the globe waits for official confirmation or denial, dozens of amusing and speculative comments swamped the initial article, with people confessing that the suspense was "killing them."

Visible Panic: IDF's Avichay Adraee shakes during statement after Iranian strikes
ALBAWABA - Following Iran's recent missile assaults on Israel, Israeli military spokeswoman Avichay Adraee gave a statement in Arabic and seemed obviously frightened. This caused a video to go viral on social media. The spokesman is heard speaking to the Arab public in the video, which was posted on Adraee's official account, perhaps in an attempt to keep spirits up and portray composure. Adraee's right hand was visibly shaking before he swiftly put it into his pocket, however, as viewers noted on sites like X (previously Twitter). Many people saw this as an indication of tension or nervousness. Adraee has often attempted to minimize the impact of Iranian activities and has grown to be a recognizable figure in Israel's Arabic-language outreach initiatives. However, this specific apparition followed a string of missile attacks by Iran in retribution for Israel's "Rising Lion" operation, which struck vital Iranian infrastructure, such as military command centers and nuclear facilities. Adraee's seeming discomfort, according to observers and social media users, is a reflection of the increasing strain on the Israeli military in the midst of what is being called one of the most severe escalations between the two nations to date. — اخبار روسيا الاتحادية (@Su_35m) June 14, 2025 Iran's UN ambassador commented on the issue, saying that Tehran's attacks were a part of a larger plan to "restore deterrence" and cautioned Israel from carrying out further military operations within Iranian territory.
