Four charged with arson after Llangefni fire at ex-council headquarters
Four young people have been charged with arson in connection with a fire at former council headquarters. The blaze caused significant damage to Shire Hall, Llangefni, in Anglesey in December 2023. At the time there were four arrests, but it has taken 18 months for anyone to be charged. North Wales Police did not provide any information on the youths' ages or where they are will appear at Caernarfon Youth Court on Wednesday, 9 July.

Rabbits attacked and killed in Sunderland Barnes Park
Police and council teams investigating the killing of animals in a park are trying to locate five children seen in the area.A group of people were seen committing acts of cruelty to rabbits in Barnes Park, Sunderland, on 14 June, but they fled the area before police Police said officers are looking to speak to anybody who might have information, while Sunderland City Council has released a photo of a group of youths who they would like to local authority vowed "action will be taken against those responsible" for the attacks. Footage of three children on off-road bikes in the park has also been released as part of the investigation.A council spokesperson said: "There is no excuse for this behaviour. Police seize e-bike following anti-social behaviour reports in Breightmet
Police seized a bike in Bolton last night after reports came in of anti-social behaviour. Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of youths riding e-bikes up and down Garstang Avenue in Breightmet. The riders were reportedly using excessive speed on the roads. A spokesperson for GMP said: "This evening the Bolton Special Constabulary team responded to reports of youths driving e-bikes in an anti-social manner on Garstang Ave, Breightmet, speeding up and down the road. E-bikes are bikes with a rechargeable battery and an electric motor, meaning they are generally heavier than normal bikes. Anybody over the age of 14 can legally ride them, and there is no requirement to wear a helmet or have a license for them, according to UK law. They can be operated anywhere a conventional bike can be used, including on cycle lanes and paths as well as roads. They must have a maximum power output of 250 watts and must cut out when the e-bike reaches a speed of 15.5mph.

Moment teenage vandal breaks windscreen of police car in London
This is the moment a young thug jumps on the bonnet of a police car and stamps on its windscreen in south London. The patrol vehicle was attacked in Rookery Road near Clapham Common at around 6.20pm on Saturday. One teenage boy in a white top, black and orange shorts, white socks and trainers is seen vandalising the car. A large crowd of about 50 youngsters cheer him on, film the incident on mobile phones and then join in the altercation. 'Thankfully, no officers were injured and the group were dispersed at approximately 8.15pm.' Inspector Darren Watson, from the local neighbourhood policing team, added: 'One of our marked police vehicles, a vital asset in responding and protecting our community, was deliberately damaged. 'This has rendered the vehicle completely unusable and means there is one less police car available to respond to calls for help. 'Those responsible have shown a complete disregard for the local community. 'If you have any information regarding this incident or the identity of those responsible, I urge you to come forward. The information could be the crucial piece of the investigation that helps us identify the suspect and bring them to justice.' Police attacked for second night in Londonderry
Police have been attacked for a second night in Londonderry by masked youths.A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are dealing with ongoing disorder in the Nailors Row area of Derry/Londonderry this evening.""A number of missiles, including masonry and petrol bombs, have been thrown towards officers."The public is being advised to avoid the area. On Monday night fireworks and masonry were thrown at officers in the same area of the city, injuring three officers. Two were struck by masonry, while a third was hit by a teenage boys aged 13 and 18 were arrested on suspicion of riotous behaviour and were later released on bail pending further confirmed that the disorder on Monday was not racially motivated.
