Look-alike Shefford dad mistaken for hip-hop star Pitbull

A father-of-four who was mistaken for the rapper and singer Pitbull and mobbed by fans at one of his concerts says the whole experience has been "crazy". Phil Mansford, 49, from Shefford, Bedfordshire, decided to go a gig at the O2 Arena in London dressed as the Latin hip-hop star in a "standard suit" - with shades on. It has become a custom to dress like the star, donning his trademark glasses, shirts and jackets - and a bald Mansford said his wife had "stuck a bit of mascara" on his greying beard, before fans began "screaming and shouting and running towards me", believing he was the star. His wife Nicole took a video of the fans' reactions, sent it to their daughter Niamh, who posted it on TikTok. The reel has had more than 3.8 million views and has been shared more than 55,000 times. "I had no idea it was going to blow up like that, it's crazy," Mr Mansford added that he was wearing "just a standard suit with shades", but due to being "follically challenged", no bald cap was a bit of fun, he added, "my wife just stuck a bit of mascara on my little beard, to make it darker, as I'm going grey. "I had no idea it was a cult following [to dress like Pitbull]." Mr Mansford said people started to notice the similarities when he was on the train heading to the concert. "As we got closer to the O2 a few more people started shouting at me," he said. "I was sticking my thumbs up, I was loving the attention, and my wife was rolling her eyes. "As we got inside, people were dancing and getting in the vibe, someone must have said 'that's him'." "The next thing - it went mad, everyone was screaming, shouting and running towards me", he said. "I was with my mate Mike [Metrovich], he's an absolute diamond, and he's a personal trainer, so he looks the part and he pretended to be my bodyguard pushing people out the way and saying, 'no, no, no, move back'."He said although he is not a massive fan of the Fireball singer, the concert was "absolutely brilliant, top drawer". Mr Mansford, the manager of a day centre for adults with learning disabilities, said he just "milked the moment for all he could" and the whole experience had been "amazing". Mom planned her wedding around her autistic daughter's needs—and redefined what a meaningful celebration can be

On a warm, quiet morning in May, Jodie Bevan helped her teenage autistic daughter Sofia into a soft, simple dress—something she hadn't worn in more than 10 years. Nearby, a teddy bear dressed in a tiny suit waited on the seat reserved just for her. Instead of shaping her wedding around tradition, Jodie shaped it around Sofia. She imagined a day where her daughter would feel calm, included, and loved. Every detail—Sofia's outfit, the timing of the photos, the sensory toy bag at her place setting—was chosen with one purpose: to help her feel good in her body, in the room, in the moment. When Jodie later shared a video of the day, it quickly went viral—garnering 2.6 million views and resonating with families around the world. Every part of the day reflected the way Jodie shows up for Sofia daily—with care, clarity, and a willingness to meet her exactly where she is. She focused on what would help her daughter feel grounded and joyful, knowing that comfort would create space for connection. She arranged for photos to happen early, before the noise and stimulation picked up—just one example of how she designed the day around her daughter's needs. 'Planning our wedding with Sofia's needs first,' Jodie explained in her video. 'We made all of our vendors aware of Sofia's needs beforehand, including the photographer.' Related: Learning and growing alongside my child, a musician on the autism spectrum For many moms of neurodivergent children, milestones like weddings or birthdays can carry a quiet weight. There's pressure to meet expectations or perform tradition—but often, those expectations aren't designed with every child in mind. Jodie's wedding story is a quiet but powerful reminder that redefining milestones through inclusion and emotional safety doesn't lessen their meaning—it deepens it. She shaped the moment around what her daughter needed to feel safe, calm, and joyful. That shift created space for real connection, not in spite of who Sofia is, but in full celebration of it. It's an approach that resonates deeply with so many parents who are trying to honor both the occasion and the child they love. Jodie's video struck a chord with thousands of viewers—especially parents of neurodivergent children who saw themselves in her story. Yazzy Ward: 'My sister has autism and she was my bridesmaid, she's 13 and it was first time she wore a dress in many years and to say she smashed it was a understatement ' Dramaswaff: 'What an angel. She reminds me of Wendy in Peter Pan ' Rjl89: 'You say weddings aren't about perfection but I think this is the most perfect expression of love for your family ' Lisa A: 'That's beautiful and now given me ideas for when my partner and I get married with his daughter being autistic so thank u so much for sharing xx' Ford-MK3 ST: 'We just got married last Thursday. Both my children, ages seven and nine, have autism. We made it all about them, with music playing softly, and my son stood by my side, holding my hand during the ceremony made my day' Related: My son has autism: Here are 5 things you can do to help families like ours thrive Whether it's a wedding, birthday, or graduation, inclusion starts with presence. Jodie's story is a gentle reminder that we can design meaningful experiences by asking a simple question: What will help my child feel most supported in this moment? For some families, that might mean adjusting the schedule. For others, it's choosing clothes that feel good or creating a quiet place to rest. Sometimes, it's as simple as letting go of how things are 'supposed' to look—and focusing instead on how they feel. As Jodie beautifully puts it, 'Weddings aren't about perfection—they're about love. And for us, love meant creating a day that felt good for Sofia, too.'

Internet shocked after tribute tattoo for young girl goes HORRIBLY wrong: 'Demon-like'

A tattoo meant to be a tribute to a child went horribly wrong after the internet claimed the heartwarming body art looked more like a 'demon' than a baby. Back in April, tattoo artist Thomas Tattoos, from Cairo, Egypt, shared a now-viral clip showcasing the ink design of a young girl that he had done on a man's chest. He wiped away access ink to reveal the permanent body art, but many people on the web felt that tat was a little scarier than expected. What should have been the face of a smiling baby girl was replaced with, what some described as 'Shrek's kid,' 'Gollum from Lord of the Rings,' or a 'demon.' The tattoo was very dark with intense shading on her face, and it appeared that her eyes and nose weren't done correctly, leaving the father with a jarring new piece. Thomas also tattooed the child's name - Tallin - at the bottom of the portrait in dark lettering. The video has amassed over 30.6 million views in over a month, and users rushed to the comment section to express their horror. 'What days are you closed?' someone asked, while another joked, 'Ayo do you accept walkouts?' 'Just needs some shading. A black four-inch square over the whole thing will make it pop,' a different user suggested. 'I don't have an appointment, but I still want to cancel,' one person wrote. 'They kept wiping it as if it was going to get better,' another comment read. In another post about the tattoo, Thomas placed the stencil next to the complete piece to show a before and after. But that only erupted in more backlash from his followers, who pointed out that there was a clear difference between the two. 'Poor little girl! The tattooist made her look like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Do you really believe that you can tattoo?' someone penned. 'I honestly don't believe you [have] customers. They must not see how you work before they book in.' 'This post is bad for business. Haha,' another responded. 'Not every artist can do portraits. With all due respect, please don't,' a different person requested. 'Brother, respectfully, this is terrible. You really should apologize to him and give him a full refund,' someone else shared. 'Then set him up with another tattoo artist who can do it properly then cover up the mess you made.' 'Shrek called - he wants his kids back,' a different person said.

David Beckham Had The Perfect Response To A Group Of Fans Losing It After Spotting Him In Traffic

A group of men couldn't contain their excitement when they realized that they were parked next to none other than soccer legend David Beckham while driving through London earlier this week. The boys captured the moment in a TikTok video, which has now gone viral — with David himself responding to the footage on his Instagram page. In the video, Tosin Sokoya is filming out of the car's open window, and David clearly heard the commotion that he had caused as he is looking over and smiling from his spot behind the wheel. Tosin and his two friends repeatedly exclaim: 'No!' at the surprising celebrity sighting, with one of them shouting: 'No, bro, no way — seriously though?!' Tosin then repeatedly tries to get David to rev his engine, but David politely declines, joking that he is 'too old to rev anything.' The Raygun phenomenon

Introduced by Australian Story presenter Leigh Sales. When Australian B-girl Raygun took to the stage in the breaking at the Paris Olympics in 2024 she inadvertently became a viral sensation and cultural flashpoint. Her unique moves spawned thousands of memes, sparked heated debate and unleashed wild conspiracy theories. It was a devastating response for one person to shoulder and garnered sympathy and support for Raygun aka Rachael Gunn. The intense global reaction also caught the attention of comedian Steph Broadbridge, who was inspired to write an unauthorised musical parody or 'empathetic piss-take'. It may have seemed a very Australian response to a confounding cultural moment, but like everything with this story, it was complicated. This episode of Australian Story aims to break it down and shed some light on the fallout from breaking's debut at the Olympics. (Rachael Gunn declined an invitation to be involved.) Watch 'Break It Down' at 8pm Monday June 23 on ABC TV or iview
