Teen motorcyclist in fatal Leckford crash was 'beloved son'

Man riding wheelchair on highway fatally hit by car
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A man traveling in a wheelchair on Highway 367 near Jennings Station Road in Jennings, Missouri, was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon. According to the St. Louis County Police Department (SLCPD), officials were alerted to the incident before 4 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the man, who was already deceased. According to investigators, the suspected vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 367 when it swerved and fatally struck the man who was in his wheelchair. Close Thanks for signing up! SLCPD said that multiple individuals inside the suspected vehicle fled the scene on foot. Girl, 11, dies after being hit by van in Mosborough, Sheffield
An 11-year-old girl has died after she was struck by a van in child was hit by a white Ford Transit at the junction of High Street and Station Road in Mosborough just before 17:00 BST on Yorkshire Police said the girl was taken to hospital but died a short time later.A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and traffic offences. Cyclist (60s) killed in collision with van in Co Cork
A man in his 60s has died following a collision in Co Cork on Wednesday. The collision, which involved a van and a cyclist, occurred on the N25 at Carrigtwohill at about 5pm. Emergency services attended the incident but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to the mortuary at University Cork Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The male driver of the van, who is aged in his 60s, received treatment at the scene. READ MORE Gardaí are investigating the incident. The road will remain closed overnight for a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators on Thursday morning. Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Any road users who may have camera or dash cam footage and were travelling in the area between 4.30pm and 5pm on Wednesday are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.

Pedestrian killed after being hit by van in Kane County, deputies say
A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a van early Monday morning in Kane County. The sheriff's office said just before 4:30 a.m., deputies responded to a car versus pedestrian crash near the intersection of Farnsworth Avenue and Summit Avenue in Aurora Township. Initial reports indicated that a white 2017 GMC work van was heading southbound on Farnsworth Avenue when it hit a pedestrian who was also walking southbound in the roadway along the fog line. The pedestrian, identified by the sheriff's office as Samson Isom, 42, of Aurora, was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died. The driver of the van, a 36-year-old man also of Aurora, was taken to Ascension Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No citations were issued. Deputies said it is not clear if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing by the Kane County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Kane County Investigations Division at 630-444-1103.
