Tunnel fully reopens after major incident fire
A tunnel that was closed after a large fire has fully reopened three days after the incident. A major incident was declared after a vehicle caught fire in the Conwy Tunnel on the A55 on Thursday afternoon. There were no fatalities, and the tunnel reopened eastbound on Friday morning, with a contraflow system being used. Traffic Wales said on Sunday that the westbound tunnel has now reopened, with a temporary 50mph speed limit in place. Tunnel partly reopens after major incident fire "Our teams have worked hard to undertake essential inspections and repairs to life safety systems," it said, adding that night-time closures are planned in the coming days to continue repairs. About 40,000 vehicles a day on average pass through the tunnel, which connects Conwy and Llandudno Junction.

Planned I-65 ramp closures in Blount County
BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Department of Transportation announced it will periodically close the southbound entrance and exit ramps at the I-65 and Alabama State Route 160 interchange Tuesday. The closures will start at 9 a.m., weather permitting. For the closure of the exit ramp from I-65 southbound, message boards will direct drivers to proceed to Exit 282 and detour back to I-65 northbound to exit onto Alabama State Route 160. For the closure of the I-65 southbound entrance ramp, message boards will instruct drivers to use U.S. Highway 31 southbound. Motorists can enter I-65 from Cane Creek Road, Old U.S. Highway 31 or the service road. Water main leak causes Jefferson County road closure The ramps are expected to re-open by 2 p.m. Tuesday. The same closures are expected to be in place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The ALDOT stated it encourages motorists to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival and departure times, observe work zone signs and use caution in this area during the closures. Westbound I-70 closed due to motorcycle crash
DENVER (KDVR) — Parts of Interstate 70 are closed due to a crash on Saturday afternoon, according to a post on X from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office. All westbound lanes at Mile Marker 325 just west of Deer Trail are closed. Residents displaced after apartment fire in Craig, Red Cross responding Deputies said a motorcyclist crashed and has injuries, though the extent of the injuries is unknown. Work begins Monday on Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf
Beginning Monday, June 2, work continues on Devils Glen Road from 53rd Avenue to Crow Lake Drive as crews widen the roadway from two lanes to four lanes with a right turn lane at 53rd Avenue, a news release says. This project is being done in three stages. For information on the first stage that began on April 21, see the earlier news release below. During the second stage, the west lane of Devils Glen Road will be widened between Marynoel Avenue and Crow Lake Drive. To ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction workers onsite, Devils Glen Road will be reduced to northbound traffic only from Hopewell Avenue to Forest Grove Drive. This traffic change is expected to last about four weeks, weather permitting, and a detour will be in place for southbound traffic. After that, two-way traffic will resume for the third stage of this project, which is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, weather permitting. In addition, a five-foot-wide sidewalk will be added to the west side of Devils Glen Road to connect walkers, runners, and bicyclists from 53rd Avenue to Field Sike Drive. To ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction workers onsite, Devils Glen Road will be reduced to northbound traffic only from 53rd Avenue to Hopewell Avenue to complete the first stage of this project.
