EastEnders' Lorraine Stanley looks slimmer than ever after dramatic five stone weight loss

EASTENDERS' Lorraine Stanley looks slimmer than ever after undergoing a dramatic five stone weight loss. Lorraine, 48, who recently hit out at fab jab claims, put on a jaw-dropping display in a tie-dye grey dress with her 10-year-old daughter, Nancy. 4 The mother-daughter-duo busted some moves to a song set to slow motion in their kitchen in an Instagram Story. Lorraine, who shares Nancy with her partner Mark Perez, flashed a beaming smile while dancing away with the sprog. The soap star has been putting her new physique on full display in recent times. Just last month, she sported a slimming flower print crop top and trousers combo as she partied the night away at a special bingo event. Underneath the tied top, she donned a skin-tight white vest which only emphasised her tiny waist. For shoes, Lorraine opted for complimentary open-toe leather platform strapped heels for the occasion. Alongside flaunting her physique, the star also opened up on a huge new milestone in her life. She captioned the snap: "5 months sober & still had a good night dancing! #Sobriety." The TV star also told how her changing figure was not down to popular weight loss jabs like Ozempic or Mounjaro. Instead, Lorraine opted for a gastric sleeve operation. EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley stars in very racy new film featuring full-frontal nudity One inquisitive fan on TikTok asked for Lorraine's secret, to which she simply answered back in the comments: "Gastric sleeve." A gastric sleeve is a weight loss procedure that removes a significant portion of the stomach, creating a smaller, sleeve-shaped pouch. The actress was written out of Eastenders in 2023 after seven years on the show in a huge shock to fans. Her character's axing was as part of a shock cast shake-up and her final scenes were aired in December of that year. She went onto reprise her fan-favourite role a number of times in 2024 before her last episode hit BBC screens in June. 4 4 4

Paula Patton Explains How Motherhood Influenced Her Sobriety Journey: 'It Was Family, It Was My Life, or Chaos'

Paul Patton spoke candidly about her decision to become sober in 2018 The actress explained that one reason she quit drinking was to spend more quality time with her son, Julian Fuego Patton shares Julian, 15, with ex-husband Robin Thicke, whom she filed for divorce from in 2014Paula Patton is opening up about her sobriety journey. Patton, 49, appeared on the Atlanta radio show Big Tigger Morning Show with Jazzy Mcbee on Monday, June 16, to chat about her new film, Finding Faith. At the start of their conversation, she said she took the role of Faith because she 'goes through so much," and she related the character's journey to her personal experience with sobriety. 'Seven years ago, I got sober and life took me on a journey which was wild but amazing,' she began. 'When you get sober, it's so funny, I just had this epiphany that I had made a choice like, it was family, it was my life, or chaos to be honest.' She came to that realization ahead of filming a movie in London, because she wanted to spend her time with her son. Patton shares son Julian Fuego, 15, with ex-husband Robin Thicke, whom she filed for divorce from in 2014. 'I said, 'I can't do it.' But then, in that moment, I said if I do this, 'I'm going to stop drinking,' ' she explained. 'So once that happened, you go down a path and all of the masks that you wear, right like all the things that fill your ego, they drop away.' Patton said she lost "friends" and things like her work began to "fall away.' 'So you have to find your way through it to find out who you truly are, and that can be really challenging. There's a lot of time alone, you know, and having to face myself and memories and such,' she said. 'But then on the other side was this joy, just joy for being a mother, a joy of life." "Suddenly, I just had this childlike experience, where I started to see everything through my kid's eyes. Because he's my best friend,' she said, adding, 'It was like being born again.' Taylor also revealed how his ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright, who filed for divorce after a six-month separation when he got out of rehab in August, plays a role in his ongoing sobriety. "Brittany has drug tests at the house [so she] can drug test me anytime you want." Taylor revealed his addiction issues, which he said he'd had "on and off since I was 23," on a March podcast episode. He said that instead, he has "a lot of other issues that I've gotta deal with" that feel like a bigger priority right now. Among those are his "ego, my anger, my control, my manipulation," he said. At the start of his interview on the show, Taylor told audience members and Bravo fans, "I want to apologize to everybody who's watching this right now." "It's just, the stuff that was shown [on season 2 of The Valley] is pretty triggering to a lot of people and you know I'm watching it back, I watch the episodes now, which is a first. You watch it back and it's just, like, I'm utterly embarrassed of my actions." He continued, "Nobody should ever have to deal with the way I acted, nobody should ever have to deal with, you know, verbal abuse from anybody ... I'm really sorry that people had to see all that." I lost more than 6st with my ‘Nozempic' diet after a humiliating night drinking with my boss

HEADING to bars five days a week led to Debbie Lurvey to pile on the pounds. She knew she had to make a change after an incident at her manager's home left her feeling "horrified". 5 5 Debbie 55, weighed more than 17 stone at her heaviest. Her frequent bar visits would see her consume large portions of bar food like nachos and hamburgers, as well as alcoholic beverages. But her wake up call came in March 2019 after getting drunk at her manager's house and blacking out. After waking up there feeling "embarrassed and mortified", she embarked on a weight loss journey which would see her lose more than six stone. Debbie got sober and joined a course - No BS Weightloss - after seeing a Facebook advertisement and overhauled her diet. Today, she wears a size four and weighs approximately 10.5 stone — an incredible 100-pound loss achieved over two years. Debbie, a life coach from Lake Havasu City, said: "I had so many moments that should have been a wakeup call to me, waking up with black eyes and everything. "But something about my children being disappointed in me wanted me to change," she said. "I didn't want to lose my relationship with my children. "Now I feel content," she added. "I feel loved and grateful." Debbie said she has tried "every gimmick in the book" to try and lose weight. I lost half a stone eating cold chips The morning after blacking out at her manager's house, she discovered her relationship with one daughter was strained following a feeling of "disgust" from her, having already lost connection with another daughter due to her drinking. Now, she's back in touch with all of her children. "I walked into a client's office and said, 'I need help,'" Debbie recalled. "Then I did a Facebook Live video and told everyone I needed help." That same day, she attended her first recovery meeting, marking the beginning of her sobriety journey. Diet overhaul Debbie says she already started changing her eating habits, noting she lost 25lbs before she stopped drinking. Now, she eats mindfully, focusing on protein, vegetables, and moderate portions. She said: "If I was hungry, I ate. If I was satisfied, not full, I stopped eating. "During that time I learned so much not just about what my body needs, but what my mind needs. "I learned that I could think new thoughts and I could learn to like myself." Her transformation inspired her husband Kevin, a retired deliver driver, also in Lake Havasu City, to quit drinking and lose four stone after witnessing her success. The transformation that she made was from simple little things. No rocket science behind it Kevin Lurvey Debbie has two biological daughters from a previous marriage, ages 25 and 34, and one 25-year-old stepdaughter with Kevin. "It's been completely amazing," Kevin said of his wife's change. "The transformation that she made was from simple little things. No rocket science behind it. He added: "She's an amazing woman. She has peace now." "Following in her steps and listening and seeing how she did things, it rubbed off on me." Today, Debbie co-hosts a podcast called 'April and Debbie Dish: The Truth on Weight Loss,' where she shares her experiences to inspire others. 5 5 5 "Don't look at 'I have a hundred pounds to lose' or 'I want to be a year without alcohol,'" she explained. "Look at the first pound, the first day and believe that you can do that one step." "You haven't failed until you quit," Debbie added. "Don't quit." "Understanding why you want to lose weight is important." Debbie now works as a life coach with an advanced certification in weight loss, helping others achieve what once seemed impossible to her. Despite being about 10 pounds above her goal weight, she maintains a healthy perspective. "I don't consider it a regain," she explained. "It's just an awareness that I need to listen to my body better. It is not a failure."

Cher's son hospitalized for erratic behavior as drugs found in residence

Elijah Blue Allman, the son of Cher and the late Gregg Allman, has been hospitalized for demonstrating erratic behavior. On Saturday, the 48-year-old was taken to a hospital in San Bernardino County after authorities received a disturbance call. "Deputies from our Morongo Basin Station responded to a residence in Landers for a male subject acting erratically," authorities from the Bernardino County Sheriff's office said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital. "When deputies arrived, Elijah Allman, 48, was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel. Deputies located drugs inside the home and Allman was transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing." When reached by Fox News Digital, a representative for Cher could not provide additional details. Elijah's estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, said he remains committed to sobriety, despite the setback. "While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves," she said in a statement to People. "Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles — but it is important to recognize that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat," Marieangela continued. "Despite the assumptions that often color how his journey is portrayed, the reality is that Elijah remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose." "I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him," she added. "My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show." In 1975, Cher and Gregg married three days after she divorced her husband and singing partner, Sonny Bono. Their marriage was tumultuous from the start: Cher requested a divorce just nine days after their Las Vegas wedding, although she dismissed the suit a month later. Together they released a widely panned duets album under the name "Allman and Woman." They had one child together, Elijah Blue, and Cher filed for legal separation in 1977. In his memoir, Gregg said he spent years overindulging in women, drugs and alcohol before getting sober in the mid-1990s. He said that after getting sober, he felt "brand new" at the age of 50. "I never believed in God until this," he said in an interview with The Associated Press in 1998. "I asked him to bring me out of this or let me die before all the innings have been played. Now I have started taking on some spiritualism." However, after all the years of unhealthy living he ended up with hepatitis C which severely damaged his liver. He underwent a liver transplant in 2010. Gregg, a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, passed away in 2017 at age 69. Fox News Digital's Stephanie Nolasco and The Associated Press contributed to this post.
