Has Our Unwritten Seoul been renewed for Season 2? Here's what we know:

Renewed Or Cancelled? Our Unwritten Seoul is an intriguing K-drama, taking the typical thriller and romance vibes, then adding in an identical twin to spice things up. If you've been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here's what we know: What is Our Unwritten Seoul about? Yu Mi-ji and Yu Mi-rae are identical twin sisters, but they are different in everything except for their appearance. Younger sister Yu Mi-ji ended her short heyday as a promising track and field athlete and she now lives a freewheeling life. Meanwhile, Older sister Mi-rae is a perfectionist. She has been on an elite path since her school days and currently works at a government owned company. For some reason, Mi-ji and Mi-rae begin to tell audacious lies about exchanging their lives and thus, they then go ahead and do just that. We have ongoing coverage of Our Unwritten Seoul across the site including recaps for the season. You can check those out HERE! Has Our Unwritten Seoul been renewed for season 2? At the time of writing, tvN have not renewed When the Stars Gossip for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it'll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. The ratings began with a respectable 3.6% share nationwide but since then, the show has been increasing in popularity with every passing week, with the later episodes hovering around 7.4% nationwide. Regardless of ratings, it's extremely rare to find Korean dramas renewed for another season. That has changed in recent years but given the sheer wealth of talent in this that are sure to move onto other projects, we predict that Our Unwritten Seoul will not be renewed for a second season. On top of that, this is billed as a limited series which only has 1 season. We'll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available. What we know about season 2 so far: Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it's rare to find these sort of shows renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Our Unwritten Seoul will, but you never know! We'll be sure to update this section when we know more. Would you like to see Our Unwritten Seoul return for a second season? Or do you think the story has run its course? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

In Just a Few Minutes, This Music Will Change Your Day

Take a few minutes and listen to this piano piece. Paul Lewis, piano (Harmonia Mundi) In 1890, when Johannes Brahms turned 57, he told a friend that his career as a composer was probably over, that he'd done enough. The next year, he wrote his will. But before he died, in 1897, he had a final burst of creativity, including writing four sets of short pieces for solo piano. They contain introverted, quiet, thoughtful music. Brahms called a lot of these little pieces intermezzos — suggesting that he was just having a brief word with the listener between grander statements. This one, though, he called a romance: a tender, intimate song without words. Listen to the whole thing. Then listen to this moment, to the lines in the pianist's two hands — the melody, higher up, in the right hand, and that calm, regular flow of notes in the left: Listen to the second section, which Brahms put in a different key for a different mood — swifter, airier, perhaps a memory of a freer time: Listen to the way that the pianist trills — making a sound that's like quivering — to get from that second section back to the music from the beginning: Do you hear the return of that original music in a new way after the contrasting middle section? With Brahms, at the end of the 19th century, there is often a sense of lateness, or maybe a better word is afterness. His music gives the feeling that he thought he was living and working long beyond the time of true greatness, of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert. That gives his music, especially these pieces near his death, an autumnal quality, a sense of things drawing to a close. That doesn't mean they're treacly. (Think of Rembrandt's late, russet-colored self-portraits, ever more unsentimental as they gaze deeply on the aging face.) This romance is wistful but not weepy, deeply emotional but dignified. The music is simple; what it's expressing is not. There is a lot of music that cries. I associate Brahms's music, though, with holding back tears, with not confessing to your ex that you're still in love, with gazing back without lingering, with a stiff upper lip that — like that trill — is ever so slightly quivering.

She also included colleague Phoebe Humphrey in the photo, who dressed up as Sandy Olsson from Grease, indicating the trio were in costume for work. It comes after Georgia first sparked romance rumours with Gareth on Wednesday when she shared a selfie of the pair at the opening night of a theatre show. In the picture, the newly single reality TV star paired large gold hoops with a denim dress and a black coat as she gleamed in the sweet snap. As for her musical buddy, who also works with her at Gold 104.3, Gareth wore a black jacket over a black shirt, unbuttoned to show a little bit of chest hair for the night out. However, it was Georgia's caption of the post which really raised eyebrows and sent tongues wagging. 'Your mum and dad had a midweek night out and sent a photo as proof,' she wrote across the picture while tagging Gareth. A follow-up picture showed Gareth taking a picture of the pair's matching glittery boots before they headed into the show. Georgia and Gareth posed together on the red carpet, cuddling up close as they enjoyed their night out at the theatre. Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Georgia and Gareth for comment. 'Just two people who have grown in different directions while still holding deep respect and care for each other.

Eric Dane's alleged girlfriend 'blindsided' by his red carpet debut with new romance amid ALS battle

Eric Dane 's alleged girlfriend Priya Jain has been left 'blindsided' after the actor made his carpet debut with a new romance this week in Los Angeles. The Euphoria actor, 52 - who unveiled shock amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis in April - was seen attending the premiere of his new show Countdown on Wednesday, but was notably joined by filmmaker Janell Shirtcliff. He flashed a cheerful smile as he posed for a brief photo session and cozied up with Janell at the event. But Dane's alleged partner Priya Jain was left 'blindsided' - with a source telling Page Six on Thursday that, 'They never broke up.' Eric was first linked to the actress late last year in November, following his separation from estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart. The pair have since called off the divorce amid his ALS battle. The insider further stated that both Dane and Priya became 'exclusive' late last year and she was left 'devastated' following his health diagnosis - but still stayed by his side. According to the source, Eric and Jain have spent nights together at his home - where she also keeps some of her belongings. The pair had spent time together this past weekend - just days before he walked the red carpet with Shirtcliff. Priya was last publicly seen with the actor last month in May as they stepped out in L.A. together. And on Tuesday of this week, the Grey's Anatomy alum was spotted on a date night with Janell at the iconic Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. He was then accompanied by Shirtcliff the following day at the premiere of his latest Amazon Prime Video crime drama series Countdown. The pair were seen gazing lovingly into one another's eyes as they posed together for the cameras, Eric in summery white and Janell in a sleek burgundy cocktail dress. 'The two have been in an on-and-off relationship for over three years and care deeply for each other,' a source recently told Entertainment Tonight. 'Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him,' the insider explained, adding that they are 'extremely close and mean a great deal to one another.' The insider further said that they enjoyed 'a beautiful day together full of laughs, lightness, and love' on Tuesday. While walking the red carpet for his new police procedural on Wednesday, Eric remarked: 'I feel good,' during an interview with Variety. 'It's nice to be here with everybody and see the hours and hours of work that we put into this come alive on screen,' added the Grey's Anatomy alum. His sighting comes after he responded to a query about whether he would continue his career amid his illness by bluntly replying: 'I'm going to ride this till the wheels fall off,' while speaking to E! News on Tuesday. 'It keeps me sharp. It keeps me moving forward, which is super important right now.' Eric insisted he feels 'great when I'm at work' despite losing the function of his dominant right arm in the year since he was diagnosed with ALS. 'Of course, there have been some sort of setbacks,' Dane admitted. 'But I feel pretty good. My spirit is always pretty buoyant, so at the end of the day, that's all that matters.' Back in April, the actor told People: 'I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.' He then gave a positive update and explained that he still had plans to continue work on set. The shocking news comes two months after Eric and his estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart - with whom he shares daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13 - called off their divorce. In March, Gayheart filed to dismiss the divorce after she had first filed documents to end their marriage back in 2018, per TMZ. The rare and incurable degenerative condition impairs the nervous system over time and causes the muscles to increasingly suffer from paralysis. About half of ALS patients have a life expectancy of three years after the initial onset of symptoms, though some can survive for decades. will fly to Germany and eat the head off a rattlesnake if [doctors] told me that that would help,' Eric told Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer. 'I'll assume the risk'; seen in 2022 in L.A. The Bad Boys: Ride or Die action star is currently taking medication to slow the symptoms and he's also participating in a research study. 'I will fly to Germany and eat the head off a rattlesnake if [doctors] told me that that would help,' Eric told Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer. 'I'll assume the risk.' Dane fears he will lose function of his left hand 'in a few more months' and he's also 'worried about my legs.' But he added, 'I'm very hopeful, yeah, I don't think this is the end of my story. I'm pretty resilient. I just don't feel, like in my heart, [that] this is the end of me.'

5 Tyrants That WEBTOON Made Me Fall in Love With

Historical fiction with dukes, lords and ladies has been popular for decades. With the rise of Webtoons, we are seeing a particular historical fiction genre rise. These historical fictions mix dukes and lords with magic, fictional faraway lands and isekai. It's a perfect blend of fantasy, historical fiction and romance. The tell-tale signs of one of these comics start with an almost always reincarnated or reborn female lead and a tyrant she is destined to be with. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Sometimes, the genders are switched for these, where both are reincarnated, or no one is reincarnated. The most constant element is that at least one of the love interests is a misunderstood tyrant. RELATED: Saturday Morning Webtoons: Inarime and Vixen: NYC Nobody understands them except their love interest and me. I know them and love them to absolute pieces. Here are five tyrants that WEBTOON made me fall in love with. Calcion Landbird – Charming the Duke of the North How do we describe the tyrant in this webtoon? No one says it better than the author in the first chapter. 'A cold-hearted man … with looks that kill!' Charming the Duke of the North features Calcion Landbird as the duke and Rin as the reincarnated female lead. The catch in this webtoon is that Calcion desperately needs someone to pretend to be his lover, and Rin happens to be a successful actress back in the modern world. Donning the name Selina, Rin acts the role of a seductress who seduces the duke. It's just acting, right? RELATED: Saturday Morning Webtoons: Just Pancakes and Bad Signs While he may be a competent ruler and leader, he is entirely helpless in the show they are trying to pull off and leans on Rin for a lot of support. Her acting defends him from nobles, maids and whatever may come their way. Seeing this supposedly cold-hearted man at the mercy of a modern-day actress is indescribably precious. Every time Rin skillfully plays her part as the seductress, the duke gets completely flustered, showing his inexperience for such an esteemed duke. Duke Zeronis – The First Night With the Duke The First Night With the Duke stars Ripley, a modern gal reincarnated as a side character in her favorite novel. She swears not to let the plot deviate and to enjoy her days in this fantasy world, but accidentally gets drunk and seduces the two love interests. OOPS. The main love interest is the tyrant Duke, Zeronis. RELATED: 10 More Creative Women Behind Incredible WEBTOON Series Zeronis is the complete opposite of Calcion when it comes to romance. This guy isn't here to get flustered; he does the flustering. He is good-looking, knows it and flaunts it unapologetically to the female lead. While he is possessive, it doesn't cross the line of creepy. Though, he is extremely pushy, insisting Ripley marry him. He stops at no cost to seduce and threaten Ripley into marriage. I know 'threaten' is a bit harsh, but this is a list of tyrants, after all. Duke Luave – The Duke's Cursed Charm Duke Luave, like many of these comic tyrants, has a terrible curse: his irresistible charm. Not kidding. People fall madly in love with him and are extremely possessive due to his affliction. It is so problematic that women are literally throwing themselves in front of his carriage. RELATED: 5 Devastating WEBTOON Curses Luave constantly turns down women and men while also dealing with rumors that he is a seductive devil. Due to this curse, he is much more independent than dukes in similar stories. Bathing, dressing and primarily tending to his needs to spare servants from his curse. He uses magic to suppress the devilish power at all costs. That isn't to say he doesn't use his curse on purpose in a pinch… He is quick-witted, difficult to please, harder to seduce and an entertaining character. He has quite the personality. While a tyrant in his own right, using his curse only so slightly to his advantage, he isn't as stone-faced as the rest. However, he is twice as cold-blooded. Though everything changes when he meets the female lead. Who, surprise, is immune to his charm. Now he will have to learn how to seduce someone. Therdeo Lapileon – My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me has the typical broody duke, but there is more to him. Therdeo is, you guessed it, a cursed duke. But not the fun kind of curse like The Duke's Cursed Charm. His curse doesn't draw the ladies in but rather does them in. Therdeo has poisonous blood, as well as everyone in his family's bloodline. As a result, he is highly protective of his family and wants to create a better life for his nephew. Wow, huge father potential. RELATED: Saturday Morning Webtoons: Fingers and Welfare Center While he rules with his sword and is hard to read, we know that he is a tortured soul that just wants someone he can hold onto. Or, well, we know that after he killed the female lead. It is complicated; you'll have to trust that things look up in the romance department after the first few chapters. Dorothy – The Tyrant Wants to Be Good You read that right, and yes, Dorothy is a woman and a tyrant. Finally! Though being the tyrant didn't save her from the born-again trope. She has a second chance at life. Before, she was a ruthless princess who would do anything to get the crown, even killing her brother. But now? She is destined to live her life as a good person, which is tricky because she had a terrible life. Watching her slowly change and learn what it means to be good charmed me in a way a curse couldn't. I'm rooting for you, Dorothy. Are you a fan of WEBTOON tyrants? Who is your favorite? This article was originally published in March 2023.
