20-year-old northern Wisconsin man hospitalized after being ejected from corvette during crash
NOKOMIS, Wis. (WFRV) – A 20-year-old man was hospitalized with crash injuries after being ejected from his vehicle when it went airborne and rolled over multiple times. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office reported that dispatchers were alerted by several callers to a single-vehicle accident around 8:37 p.m. on Wednesday. Initial investigations indicated that a 1986 Chevy Corvette driven by a 20-year-old, identified as Gabriel Wallmow of Rhinelander, was heading west on County Highway K. Witnesses reportedly say that the driver passed them up rapidly, as Wallmow lost control of the vehicle. The car entered a ditch, went airborne and rolled numerous times. Authorities respond to semi-truck rollover crash on I-696 in Macomb County
One person suffered minor injuries after a semi-truck rollover crash Thursday on Interstate 696, according to the Warren Fire Department. Fire Commissioner Skip McAdams did not provide details on how the crash occurred, but he said that there is scrap metal on the freeway at Hoover Road. McAdams said another vehicle was involved, and the semi briefly caught on fire. Authorities did not say which driver was hurt in the crash. This story is developing.

Man killed in single-vehicle rollover north of Chaplin, Sask.
An RCMP cruiser can be seen in this file photo. The Saskatchewan RCMP says a man was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover north of Chaplin, Sask. Emergency crews were called to a rural road around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, an RCMP news release said. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a man who is not from Canada, was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. RCMP said the man's family has been notified and that no additional details about him will be released. The incident remains under investigation. Chaplin, Sask. is about 154 kilometres west of Regina.

Wayne County deputy dies in crash on Lodge freeway
FOX 2 - An off-duty Wayne County Sheriff's Deputy died in a rollover over crash on the Lodge freeway early Saturday morning. Ryan Phillips was killed in the crash when his SUV ran off the roadway and up the embankment at Chicago on the northbound side of the freeway. The SUV rolled back onto the freeway after a striking a tree, according to Michigan State Police. Phillips was ejected from his vehicle at some point and was declared dead at the scene. When emergency vehicles arrived, the SUV was on fire and blocking more than one lane of traffic. State police said that Phillips was not using a seatbelt. "We are reminding drivers to wear their seatbelts," said MSP 1st Lt. Mike Shaw. "Not only will it keep you behind the wheel, it will keep you inside the vehicle if it rolls over. This crash pends further investigation and ME reports."

What we know According to Kansasville Fire and Rescue, just before 2 a.m., it and Racine County sheriff's deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on County Highway N (Sunnyside Drive) near Minnetonka Drive in the Town of Dover. First responders arrived on scene where they found seven people in and around the severely wrecked 2005 Ford Excursion. One person was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated. It is believed that at least one person was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover crash. In total, five people were taken to area hospitals via four ambulances. However, none of them are believed to have life-threatening injuries. The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash. The Source Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department sent FOX6 a press release and photos of the wrecked vehicle.
