Daisy May Cooper and Alan Carr among stars to quit popular ITV quiz show
The ITV quiz show Password - which is based on the US quiz show of the same name - is set for a major shake-up in its second series. Team captains Alan Carr and Daisy May Cooper will not be returning due to conflicting schedules. Instead, a revolving roster of celebrities is expected to replace the duo in future episodes. Stephen Mangan, star of The Green Wing and The Split, will continue to host the show, which offers a £10,000 prize. The next series of Password is scheduled to begin filming in July and air later this year.

ITV has scrambled the dial on its quizshow Password and made huge changes ahead of series two. I can reveal that Alan Carr and Daisy May Cooper will no longer be part of the show, with just host Stephen Mangan remaining. 7 The brilliant duo stood as team captains on the popular gameshow. Three contestants waved goodbye to host Lee Mack, 56, and the other players after being asked the 15% question. Ten players remained and Lee asked them: 'It's now time for the 15% question... 'Which two words, that contain the same five letters as each other but in a different order, mean the same as the two words below?' The words below were 'fairly silent'. Making light of the situation, Lee told them: 'And the answer isn't Silent Fairly.' Lee pointed out: 'We haven't spoken to you yet, but you are in blue... 'So I am assuming you've gone.' Jackie's dad confessed that he 'went a long time ago', with Lee revealing he went on the 80% question. It comes after The 1% Club aired an alphabet question that wiped out a whopping 15 celebrity players during the latest all-star special. The likes of Jill Scott, 38, Iain Stirling, 37, Tony Bellew, 42, and Chris Kamara, 67, took to the studio to see if they could get the 1% question. But at the 30% question round, a huge number of celebrities got the boot after presenter Lee asked the famous faces: 'Which England footballer is spelt out in this code below?' as they were shown nine different symbols. The players were given the options of: A) Mary Earps, B) Ella Toone and C) Fran Kirby. After their time was up, Lee said: 'Wow. We've lost 15 of you... 'Let's look at the answer. It's Frank Kirby.'

Channel 4 launch new version of classic game show as Love Island and I'm A Celeb stars are lined up to appear
CHANNEL 4 are launching their own version of classic quiz show, Family Fortunes, aimed at a youth audience and featuring an array of reality stars and influencers. Family Face Off will air on 4's younger skewing digital channel 4.0 this summer and will see famous faces and their families compete against each other. 5 5 5 It's hosted by Darkest Man and they have Chloe Burrows and Indiyah Polack from Love Island as contestants, along with their loved ones. Both former Islanders have enjoyed incredible careers since leaving the villa. Chloe has appeared on several other reality TV shows like Celebs Go Dating, while Indiyah is the host of the Love Island podcast. The show's host Darkest Man, is an influencer who has seen his star soar over the the last few years. Channel 4 have revealed that other celebs taking part in Family Face Off are I'm A Celeb 's Nella Rose, Mariam Musa and PK Humble. Similar to ITV 's Family Fortunes, the show sees two celebrities go head-to-head with their families in tow. In each episode, two equally competitive and unfiltered families must answer a series of questions to prove who knows their relatives best. The show promises to be full of laughs, as the stars do battle to see who will come out on top. Family Face Off isn't the only show that is hitting the screens this summer. Channel 4 have announced a whole host of great entertainment being launched over the next few months on 4.0. A previous instalment of the popular quiz show saw 100 contestants attempt to win a cash prize by answering a series of questions that gradually increased in trickiness. Aptly, the final question is one that just 1% of the public answered correctly. In one episode, the 80% question, which is supposed to be one of the easier ones, tripped up a hoard of players.
