Blake Lively Seeks Protective Order to Block Justin Baldoni's Legal Team from Accessing Taylor Swift Messages
Blake Lively has requested a protective order to block Justin Baldoni's legal team from obtaining her private communications with Taylor Swift amid ongoing litigation tied to Wayfarer Studios. Despite the fact that Baldoni's team dropped an earlier subpoena for text messages between the singer and the actress, Lively's attorney, Esra Hudson, claims that the actor's attorney's have not abandoned their 'media strategy,' which still involves Swift. In a letter sent to U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman, which was obtained by TheWrap, Hudson also alleges that Baldoni's camp is withholding documents that formed the basis of their original subpoena. A spokesperson for Lively told TheWrap Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios 'are still demanding access to Taylor Swift's private communications' despite claiming they had already obtained what they needed. 'As reflected in today's filing, their intent to drag Taylor Swift into this was evident as far back as August 2024,' the spokesperson for Lively said. 'The ongoing attempts to once again try and use the world's biggest star as a PR tactic in this matter reflects a public unraveling of epic proportions—and serves only to distract from the fact that Justin Baldoni's lawsuits against Ms. Lively, Ryan Reynolds, their publicist, and the New York Times have been entirely dismissed.' When Baldoni initially dropped the Taylor Swift subpoena on May 22, a spokesperson for Lively told TheWrap that they were 'pleased' with the 'It Ends With Us' director and star's decision to end his 'harassing' probe into Swift and her law firm. 'We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process,' the spokesperson said at the time. TheWrap has reached out to Hudson and Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman for comment. In other recent developments, a judge dismissed Baldoni's $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively on Monday. Freedman told TheWrap of the ruling, 'Ms. Lively and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false, so let us be clear about the latest ruling. While the court dismissed the defamation-related claims, the court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations.' Blake Lively seeks protective order against Justin Baldoni's team over Taylor Swift communications
Blake Lively is seeking a protective order against Justin Baldoni's team in response to its alleged "demands" to access Lively and Taylor Swift's private communications. According to documents obtained by People, Baldoni's team has "pursued [these communications] at the same time they have refused to produce to Ms. Lively the documents they publicly claimed to have received as part of a deal to withdraw their subpoenas to Ms. Swift and her counsel." The document, filed by Lively's lawyer, Esra Hudson, said, "Good cause exists for this request because it has been a tactic" of Baldoni's "to make Ms. Swift and her fan base central to their media strategy against Ms. Lively." A rep for Baldoni did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. A spokesperson for Lively told Fox News Digital, "Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties are still demanding access to Taylor Swift's private communications despite having already subpoenaed and then withdrawn that subpoena after they 'got all they needed.' "As reflected in today's filing, their intent to drag Taylor Swift into this was evident as far back as August 2024, when the crisis PR firm led by Melissa Nathan included her in their 'Scenario Planning' document … and flagged the 'TS fanbase' as something to take 'extremely seriously," the statement continued. "The ongoing attempts to once again try and use the world's biggest star as a PR tactic in this matter reflects a public unraveling of epic proportions and serves only to distract from the fact that Justin Baldoni's lawsuits against Ms. Lively, Ryan Reynolds, their publicist and the New York Times have been entirely dismissed." Swift was subpoenaed as a witness in the Lively-Baldoni dispute, but Baldoni's team has withdrawn the request, Fox News Digital confirmed in May. A source with direct knowledge of the case told Fox News Digita at the time, "When information is voluntarily received, there is no need for subpoenas." "The ongoing attempts to once again try and use the world's biggest star as a PR tactic in this matter reflects a public unraveling of epic proportions." Representatives for Lively expressed approval of the reversal at the time, saying they will continue to "stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process." "We are pleased that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm," Lively's team said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel, and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process. "The Baldoni and Wayfarer team have tried to put Taylor Swift, a woman who has been an inspiration for tens of millions across the globe, at the center of this case since day one. "Exploiting Taylor Swift's celebrity was the original plan in Melissa Nathan's scenario planning document, and it continues to this day," the statement added. "Faced with having to justify themselves in federal court, they folded. At some point, they will run out of distractions from the actual claims of sexual harassment and retaliation they are facing." After Swift was subpoenaed May 10, a spokesperson for the pop star denied her involvement in the 2024 film "It Ends With Us" aside from the licensing of her song "My Tears Ricochet," which was featured in the movie's trailer and used in one scene. "Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie. She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions. She did not score the film. She never saw an edit or made any notes on the film. She did not even see 'It Ends With Us' until weeks after its public release and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history," Swift's representative told Fox News Digital at the time. "The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, 'My Tears Ricochet,'" the spokesperson added. "Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case." Baldoni and Lively's legal fight is scheduled to go to trial before a New York court in March 2026. On Thursday, Swift was spotted with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at the 2025 Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers in Sunrise, Florida.

Taylor Swift granted protective order from ex-con stalker who claims she is mother to his child
Taylor Swift has been granted a protective order against an ex-con stalker who claims that she is the mother to his child. The 35-year-old megastar filed for a protective order and was granted a temporary restraining order on Monday according to TMZ. has reached out to representatives for Swift who have confirmed the report. According to the filing obtained by TMZ, Taylor alleges that an ex-convict keeps showing up to her house uninvited claiming that she is the mother to his child. The pop star even claims that the 45-year-old man named Brian Jason Wagner even changed his address on his driver's license to her residence in Los Angeles. Taylor had went to court to make the filing on Friday as it is claimed that he has been harassing her for years beginning when he was incarcerated. In the documents, Taylor claims that Wagner had showed up on her property consecutive days in May as he asked to see her and told security that he was there to check on a friend. She goes on to say that her security team had ran a 'criminal history report' on Wagner as they have found he was previously incarcerated. Taylor went on to explain that she was told that he had been sending her lengthy communications from his time in prison as she claims that they were full of mostly fabricated stories about his involvement in her personal life. Perhaps the most alarming bit is that Taylor alleges that Wagner had used concerning and threatening language in the communications and even attempted to divert mail away from her LA residence. According to TMZ she claimed he 'even lied to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to somehow change the address on his driver's license to my Los Angeles home.' The megastar also claims that Wagner had previously went to her home at least three times in July 2024 including one supposed visit where he allegedly carried a glass bottle 'that could have been used as a weapon.' Taylor claims that she had never met or communicated with Wagner and asked via the court order for Wagner to stay at least 100 yards away from her, her home, her workplace, and car. The A-lister has dealt with numerous stalkers in the past including one who sent twisted letters threatening to kill her. Meanwhile, over the weekend Taylor gave fans the shock of a lifetime as she attended Travis Kelce 's cousin's wedding in Nashville. Videos spread on X (formally Twitter) of the power couple - who were seen on a date night in Florida earlier this week - enjoying the reception together as they moved and grooved while sitting in their chairs and watching the bride and groom do their first dance. Several videos on TikTok showed the 35-year-old pop megastar wearing a strapless blue floral patterned Markarian dress which retails for $1,995. 📷| A Fairy Princess attending a wedding today!😊 — Taylor Swift Updates 🩶 (@swifferupdates) June 6, 2025 She completed the look with a pair of strappy brown leather heels as her signature blonde locks were teased into waves which cascaded down her shoulders. Travis, also 35, looked happy to be joined by his ladylove at the family event which took place in a barnhouse reportedly in Nashville. It seemed to be the wedding of the star Kansas City Chief tight end's cousin Tanner Corum, who tied the knot with Samantha Peck.
