The £58m estate made from paper, now home to a Formula 1 winner
Laverstoke Park is one of England's finest country estates, but there's a good chance you've never heard of it. That's in large part because none of it is open to the public and it has been a private home for its entire existence, mainly for the family who built it nearly 300 years ago.
The sprawling 1,800-acre estate is on the market for only the second time, in its entirety for £58 million, or as three separate lots with the estate agencies Savills and Knight Frank. The grade II* listed manor house is on sale for £32 million, with 279 acres of parkland and six estate houses and cottages thrown in.
