Sarawak police nab man in Kuching for flashing airsoft gun at traffic lights
KUCHING, June 20 — The police have arrested a motorist who was suspected of flashing what appeared to be a 'gun' while driving a car here. The arrest was confirmed by the Sarawak Commissioner of Police, Dato Mancha Ata when contacted. 'The suspect has been arrested, and an airsoft gun has been seized. The case is under investigation,' he said. Videos and photos of the person flashing a gun at a traffic light intersection have been widely shared on social media. Airsoft guns are replica firearms that shoot small ball bearings using compressed air or gas, rather than bullets. They are prohibited in Malaysia under Section 36 of the Arms Act. Police seize drugs and cash, two Sault suspects charged
A drug investigation that began earlier this month in Sault Ste. Marie led police to seize $23,895 in cash, as well as illegal drugs with an estimated street value of $13,728. City police, working with Ontario Provincial Police, arrested two suspects, ages 30 and 32, on June 18. Marie Police Service) Police were already investigating the 30-year-old for drug trafficking when they saw him get into a vehicle with the other suspect. The pair was arrested following a traffic stop and police searched the vehicle. Items recovered include a loaded revolver with ammunition, and drugs suspected to be 114.12 grams of cocaine, 14.91 grams of fentanyl, four oxycodone pills, cash, scales, drug packaging materials, a cutting agent and multiple cellphones. Both were charged with several weapons and drug trafficking offences. The 32-year-old was also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and the 30-year-old was charged with two counts of violating probation. Both accused were held in custody pending bail hearings, police said.

Horror as man ‘spotted with gun' at Tube station sparking huge emergency response
COPS have raced to a Tube station after a man was allegedly spotted with a gun. A 61-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm. 2 Authorities raced to Elm Park station where they apprehended the man, who is alleged to have be in possession of a gun. He is now in police custody. The rapid operation kicked off at 7am, just as commuters were beginning to flood into the busy District Line station. Cops closed down the station while dealing with the incident, keeping the shutters down until 10.46am. During that time, Transport for London (TfL) took to social media to warn commuters to stay away. A spokersperson for the brand tweeted: "This station is closed while police respond to an incident. "Tickets are being accepted on London Buses via reasonable routes." Meanwhile, a spokesperson from British Transport Police confirmed more details about the case. The spokesperson said: 'Officers were called just after 7am today (June 19) to Elm Park Underground station following reports of a man in possession of a firearm. "Officers attended, and a 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and taken into custody. Man arrested and air weapon seized after 'shots fired' in Maesteg
A man has been arrested and an "air weapon" seized after police received reports of "shots being fired" in a Bridgend deployed officers to Bridge Street, Maesteg, on Saturday after receiving a callout at 20:40 BST.A 44-year-old man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly, and obstructing police. South Wales Police said a Taser was deployed prior to the man's arrest.A weapon was found in nearby undergrowth and seized by officers. Police were continuing to investigate and have asked for witnesses to come forward.
