EAMONN Holmes has hit out at 'horrible' celebrities and admitted 'there are so many false' stars. The GB News presenter, 65, hosts podcast Things We Like with Eamonn and Paul, alongside Paul Coyte. 3 3 While speaking to guest Ray Winstone, Eamonn opened up on inner-workings in the industry. He said: "If I don't like someone, they'll know I don't like them. "And there's so many horrible people that you end up... people say, "He's lovely, he's fantastic". "They'll say to me, 'What's that Ray Winstone like?' and I'll say, 'He is lovely, he is fantastic'. "People won't believe me because I wouldn't say if you weren't. "There are so many who are just false, false, false." Tensions boiled over in 2019 when Schofe cut off Ruth while she was in the middle of a live link, teasing what was coming up on Loose Women. The incident ultimately led to Ruth making a complaint over his behaviour to ITV. Emotional moment Eamonn Holmes fights back tears on his podcast Previously speaking about it, Eamonn said: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people. "He's very passive-aggressive. It's up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her. No one would have snubbed me like that. "I have a good Belfast street fighter in me… I would be direct. I don't go for presenters who think they have a special privilege or aura or influence." Earlier this year, Eamonn posed with Anthea Turner after ending their bitter 10-year feud. The Northern Irishman affectionately placed a hand over Anthea's shoulder. Eamonn captioned the snap: 'We're the same age @antheaturner and I and have had careers of similar length but my paper round must have been harder than hers! Top Girl.' Former First Lady Michelle Obama made it clear she doesn't like being referred to as 'Mrs. Obama' amid ongoing rumors that her marriage to Barack Obama is in turmoil. Michelle, 61, appeared on Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang's Las Culturistas podcast Wednesday with her brother Craig Robinson, where she shared her reservations about her surname. During their sit-down, Matt revealed that before cameras started rolling, Michelle had asked him not to call her 'Mrs. Obama' after he referred to her as the nickname. 'Earlier I was like, "Thank you so much, Mrs. Obama," and you said, "Michelle,"' Matt began the podcast. 'I did say that,' she responded with a laugh, before explaining why she likes to avoid the name. 'We cannot have a real conversation if you're saying, "Mrs Obama," that's too many syllables,' the former first lady protested. Matt then asked if she is usually pretty quick to 'put down that shield for people,' and Michelle admitted she was constantly trying to appear less intimidating. 'I was trying to do that when I was first lady because I just think... I am not that position. I am Michelle,' she explained. The mom-of-two added that she would let kids call her 'Mrs. because they're learning,' but didn't feel comfortable with adults referring to her as that, especially when she was trying to connect to them. 'I'm always trying to break down that wall to say, "We're just all here,"' she continued. 'And the first thing to do is like, let's drop that title, that's a little heavy.' The former first lady said people calling her Mrs. Obama 'changes the dynamic.' 'So I'm Michelle,' she simply said. 'I know what we call her - your Highness,' her brother Craig quipped. 'Well, it's great to be on a first name basis,' Matt joked. The Obamas have been married for over 30 years but have faced ongoing rumors about their marriage status over the last several months. Michelle dismissed speculation about marital issues and addressed the rumors head on during a podcast episode of The Diary of a CEO last month. During the episode, she told the hosts, 'If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it.' Michelle praised her husband on her latest podcast episode as a 'tremendous father.' She said that even when Barack was president, he left the job at the door whenever he talked to his daughters to help cultivate their formative years. Rumors surrounding the Obama's relationship began when Michelle skipped several high-profile events, including Donald Trump's inauguration and former President Jimmy Carter's funeral.

Hollywood star Hugh Laurie's wild insult to his fans leaked by podcast host
A podcast host has leaked a shocking statement from Hugh Laurie that saw the Hollywood star insult his diehard fans. The British actor famously played the belovedly bitter Dr. Gregory House in US TV drama series House from 2004 to 2012. However, it's now emerged that he'd rather do anything other than look back fondly at his time on the smash hit show. During a recent episode of the Doctor Mike podcast, host Dr. Mikhail 'Mike' Varshavski was chatting to The Pitt star Noah Wyle when he revealed he had invited Laurie onto the show for a similar interview. Varshavski told Wyle: 'I love that you're still connected to your characters very much. Most that play a role like John Carter get tired of that association. In fact, we invited Hugh Laurie to our show.' Varshavski continued: 'His staff was like, 'Oh, this is a good fit, we're going to reach out to him and see what he thinks. I'm going to read you quote-unquote what he said: 'He is not interested in opportunities like this, frankly doesn't care about the audience or reliving the show.'' Wyle laughed and said: 'That's so baller.' Varshavski then added: 'It's just such a direct and honest reply. It's not that he doesn't want to do your show, just he doesn't want to be House MD ever again.' In 2013, Laurie opened up about his experience filming the show, telling Radio Times that his experience was 'a bit of a nightmare' overall, despite the hefty pay cheque. He admitted: 'At this distance it all sounds absurd. Ridiculous! After all, what was I doing other than playing about, telling stories with a very nice bunch of people? What could be constricting about that? 'But the repetition of any routine, day after month after year, can turn into a bit of a nightmare. I had some pretty bleak times, dark days when it seemed like there was no escape. And having a very Presbyterian work ethic, I was determined never to be late, not to miss a single day's filming. You wouldn't catch me phoning in to say, 'I think I may be coming down with the flu'.
