Anne Burrell reflected on settling down with her husband after ‘living the rock star chef life' before her death
Anne Burrell shared insight into her life months before her tragic death on Tuesday. The celebrity chef was found unresponsive in the shower at her home in Brooklyn, New York before being pronounced dead at the scene at age 55, police said. Just three months prior, Burrell went on Tori Spelling's 'misSPELLING' podcast, where she dove into marrying her husband Stuart Claxton in 2021. The couple had met on the dating app Bumble in 2018. 8 Anne Burrell in 2017. Phil & Anne's Good Time Lounge / Facebook The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star asked the 'Worst Cooks in America' host if she purposely waited to settle down. 'From when I was a kid, I don't know why, but I always was like, I am not getting married until I feel like I have something in life to share,' Burrell explained, 'until I have accomplished stuff.' 'I was living my best life!' she added about her 20s and 30s. 'I was like, living the rock star chef life. I was working a lot, and I had a great social life.' 8 Anne Burrell on Food Network. Along with a husband, Burrell also gained a stepson Javier. 'Kids were never on my radar, really,' the cook confessed. 'I love being an aunt. I have nieces and nephews. So I'm like, [being a stepmom] is the perfect amount of parenting for me.' 8 Rachael Ray and Anne Burrell. rachaelray/Instagram Over the years, Burrell has opened up about her relationship, recently telling the Daily Mail in April, 'October will be four years. It seems like it's been four minutes. I don't know if it's a honeymoon [phase] but I feel like it's settled into married life days which I really enjoy.' In honor of Valentine's Day in 2022, the step-mom gushed over her other half, penning, 'You make me the happiest girl in the world!!! I love you to the moon and back my sweet!!!' As for meeting Mr. Right, Burrell once admitted Claxton also felt the instant spark between them. 8 Anne Burrell in 2017 at the Good Time Lounge. Anne Burrell 'I don't know if we had both thought of marriage, but we both were like, 'Oh, yeah, this is something,'' Burrell told People in 2020. ''This is really going to be real and this is going to turn into something.'' 'Once you get to be a woman of 50 years old, you don't really think that marriage is going to be on the plate for you,' she detailed. 'I was always really focused on my career and marriage was never a huge thing in my life that I was looking for. Then when I met Stuart, my opinion about all that changed.' Giving followers glimpses into their lives over the years, Burrell posted a month after their wedding, in a 2021 Thanksgiving post, 'A new home, a wedding, a stepson, great family, great friends, good health, great fans and just so much more!!! Lots of love to all!!!' 8 Anne Burrell at the Austin Food and Wine Festival. Scott Moore/Shutterstock Two years after their nuptials, the couple was still as in love as ever. 'I have to say, I love being married,' Burrell told People in 2023. 'We're together all the time because Stuart works from home. It's the being together all the time, but it's also the adventure together.' 'It's been wonderful, to say the least,' echoed Claxton. 'Anne and I hadn't lived together before we moved in and got married, so it's been a whole adventure, but very lovely at the same time.' The businessman has yet to address Burrell's death, however, her family confirmed the news in a statement to People on Tuesday. 8 Anne Burrell in 2015. Larry Marano/Shutterstock 'Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered,' they shared. 'Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.' A cause of death has yet to be revealed. That same day, police officers shared that EMS 'responded and pronounced her deceased on scene,' sharing that the 911 call was originally for a reported cardiac arrest. 8 Anne Burrell at Grand Tasting Village in Miami, Florida. Burrell is best known for hosting 'Worst Cooks in America' on Food Network for 27 seasons, from 2010 to 2024. After her passing, a representative from Food Network shared with The Post: 'Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent — teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and the joy that a delicious meal can bring. Our thoughts are with Anne's family, friends and fans during this time of tremendous loss.' 8 Anne Burrell and her husband Stuart Claxton. chefanneburrell/Instagam During her time at the Food Network, Burrell became close pals with Rachael Ray — who judged 'Worst Cooks' from 2015 to 2017 — and fellow chef Alex Guarnaschelli. Both ladies paid tribute to Burrell, with Ray, 56, writing in part, 'I'll miss her friendship deeply. Everyone whose life she touched will miss her. Sending love to Stuart and everyone who knew and loved Anne. We've lost someone truly special.' Guarnaschelli, 55, noted in her own post, 'Make this moment about her. She'd want you to go out, raise a glass, sing karaoke (including this Sia song–one of her favorite 'Worst Cooks' warm up songs) and be able to say, like she does, #ilovewhatido –so do it for her. In her honor.'

Imagine how much money you would make,'' the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said. 'And he knows, if I make money, I make it for them.' Earlier this year, Spelling caught heat on social media after she revealed that she stripped down for a massage from her 7-year-old son 'in exchange for an allowance.' 'Beau said he wanted to do chores in exchange for an allowance … solid plan,' she captioned an Instagram Story snap captured by Page Six , PEOPLE and other outlets in which she was pictured lying face down with a pink blanket covering her bottom half while her son rubbed her legs. Tori Spelling's son wants her to join 'OnlyFans for feet'
Tori Spelling's 12-year-old son wants her to sell photos of her feet. The Beverly Hills 90210 star - who has Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and eight-year-old Beau with ex-husband Dean McDermott - admitted Finn has spent three years trying to persuade her to sign up for a website that offers "niche" image of "dirty" trotters and "weird toes" because he thinks she could make a lot of money. Speaking on her misSPELLING podcast, she said: "So my 12 year old is trying to convince me, not convince me. Fine, he's mentioned it many times that he really thinks that I should go on FeetFinder. "It's like an OnlyFans for feet. First of all, this kid told me about it. He started pitching this like three years ago, and he's 12. And I'm like, 'What is this? I don't know what it is.' "People post photos of their feet, and they make money. And there's like niches. You know, people have fetishes. They want pictures of dirty feet They want pictures of weird toes, they want pictures. "He's like mom, 'You're Tori Spelling,' and he pitches this. 'You're the OG Donna Martin. Imagine how much money you would make. And he knows, if I make money, I make it for them." Tori, 51, previously admitted a conversation with her daughter Hattie led to her ending her marriage to Dean. Speaking on her podcast, Tori revealed Hattie asked her: "Have you ever considered what it would be like to be with someone else and not dad and get treated right?" Although Tori insisted that Hattie "loves her dad", the question made her consider if staying in the marriage was the best thing for the kids. She explained: "It got to the point where it was worse for the kids to see us together. We could no longer hide what was happening, the fights." Tori also revealed that Dean's alcoholism took a toll, saying: "He was an addict going through a lot, and a lot of it was taken out on me. "And she saw that. I didn't like the person I was, trying to raise strong humans and just taking it and taking it. "On my part, at least, the want of kids, just always wanting their parents together, I think kept me from making what was outwardly a better decision for them than what they saw between two partners. "That kept me in the relationship far too long, and it ultimately, I feel, did a disservice to my kids."

Brian Austin Green 'doesn't remember' hooking up with Tori Spelling
Brian Austin Green "doesn't remember" hooking up with Tori Spelling. The 51-year-old actor starred alongside Tori, also 51, on the hit 1990s series 'Beverly Hills, 90210' and she recently reminded him that they had a sexual experience together as teenagers, but he had no recollection of it. Speaking during their upcoming reunion on 'The $100,000 Pyramid' - which will air on May 11 - she explained: "Yes, recently on my podcast 'misSPELLING', we did talk about when we were young teenagers and we hooked up, and he couldn't remember exactly the first time we hooked up. Brian replied: "I don't remember that story at all, which is crazy." Tori joked: "Which means I was really memorable." The actress previously revealed that it was like "going through a divorce" when she and Brian lost touch once she show had ended. Speaking to Brian on his 'Oldish' podcast, she explained: "I remember our last conversation and the last thing we said to each other before those 18 years. I was crying. I remember crying that we were going to lose touch because we were so close. It was almost like going through a divorce or something." Brian explained that he did try to maintain a "connection" between them in the time that followed the ending of the show but by the time they next really saw each other, she had married Dean McDermott - with whom she went on to have Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn,11 and seven-year-old Beau but split from him in 2024 - and he was with his now ex-wife Megan Fox. He said: "What I remember is going by [your then-boyfriend and our former costar] Vincent [Young]'s house to see you multiple days after we wrapped and trying to keep a connection going. But it got to the point where I just never got that from you. And then I remember being at the 90210 DVD release party and you were married to Dean and I was with Megan, when we were still just dating — you guys got there and you never said hello to me once. I just kept missing you guys and then you were gone. "It was just this thing of like, 'She just doesn't want to be my friend.' I genuinely felt that way. "I tried to visit you and I would call you. When that wasn't reciprocated and so I gave up. I didn't know what was going on in your life." Tori explained that she "shied away" from her former co-star because he didnd't necessarily approve of her relationship with Vincent but insisted that she "never stopped thinking about Brian in the years they lost touch. She said: "I shied away from you because you weren't a fan of [my] relationship [with Vincent]. You had a good working relationship with Vincent but I don't think you felt like our personal relationship was something that was correct for me. "My process was different and I would shy away from those that would really fight for me. I never stopped thinking about you and never stopped wanting to reach out and reconnect."
