3 Connecticut State Police cruisers struck in 2-day span
CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — State police say three of their troopers' cruisers were struck while responding to calls in the span of two days. In Danbury, a cruiser was struck head-on while trying to stop a wrong-way driver on Route 7 South. On the same day in Meriden, state police said a cruiser was rear-ended while the trooper was doing motor vehicle enforcement on Interstate 91 North. State trooper injured after cruiser struck by vehicle on I-84 in Waterbury And in Waterbury the next day, a cruiser was side-swiped while the trooper investigated a separate crash on Interstate 84 West. Semi Truck Falls Off Overpass, Driver Jumps from Dangling Cab
A semi truck in Louisville, Kentucky, fell off an overpass and burst into flames. Fire officials said the driver was able to quickly jump from the dangling cab before the entire truck crashed to the ground below. Police say the driver suffered only minor injuries and no one else was hurt.

Dump truck crashes into home in north Tarrant County, authorities say
Authorities are investigating the cause of a chain-reaction crash that ended with a dump truck slamming into a home Friday morning in north Tarrant County. CBS News Texas The accident occurred around 10:20 a.m. near the intersection of FM Road 718 and Newark Ranch Road, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office. Officials said the crash involved a dump truck and a sedan. The truck plowed through the wall of a home, while the sedan came to rest on nearby train tracks. The Sheriff's Office said the dump truck driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The sedan driver and a woman inside the home also sustained minor injuries but were not transported.

Five arrests in Stalham after altercation outside supermarket
Five people were arrested on suspicion of affray after a "physical altercation" outside a supermarket, police were called to the car park at Tesco on Old Market Road in Stalham, north Norfolk, at 11:40 BST on Thursday.A police statement said the incident followed a "verbal altercation" between the occupants of a vehicle and two pedestrians - a man and a woman - were left with minor injuries and a third woman also received minor injuries, they said.
