Amira is reportedly in the hospital for food poisoning, prompting well-wishes from fans. However, the post mostly sparked amused comments from netizens, poking fun at the rumoured couple. Local Singer Naim Daniel Appears In Court Following Sexual Assault Allegations
Earlier this month, the internet was in meltdown after allegations surfaced that a popular Malaysian star had been arrested for sexual assault of a minor. While there's no definite name to the case yet, singer Naim Daniel has emerged as a major suspect. On Tuesday morning (17th June 2025), at around 8.34am, the singer appeared at the Putrajaya Sessions Court. While Naim made no mention of why he was there, it's believed the star is facing charges of sexually assaulting a minor. Despite the allegations, the 'Projek: High Council' actor, whose real name is Muhammad Naim Daniel bin Baharin, appeared calm and greeted the attending press. For those unaware of the issue, in early June, news outlets reported that a local male celebrity was arrested for raping a 17-year-old. The incident reportedly took place in a hotel in Selangor. According to reports, the suspect and the victim had known each other for some time. Following the news, the case sparked widespread discussion, with many netizens speculating who the male artist could be. Amongst all the speculation, Naim Daniel was frequently mentioned as a suspect. While the star has kept mum on the issue, he hasn't updated his social media since the case blew up, leading to more suspicion. He also wouldn't share much detail during his appearance at the Sessions Court. Soon after he arrived, he entered the courtroom as the proceedings would begin at 9am. Meanwhile, netizens have shared reactions to the case and Naim Daniel's alleged involvement. Most comments expressed outrage and disappointment towards the star, noting that he had a clean-cut image as a celebrity. The former couple got engaged in May 2024, after a year of dating. In a recent interview with mStar, The Star 's Malay-language news portal, Saidah, 29, cited financial instability as one of the main reasons she called off her wedding. According to her, Muntazar, 22, had only RM500 in his bank account. 'How can you take care of someone with that amount? You shouldn't be marrying. You should be looking for a job or continuing your studies,' she lamented. The actress further alleged that after the breakup, Muntazar hacked into her TikTok account and posted fake comments under her name to damage her reputation. One of the comments reportedly said she had not moved on from the split and was also taking pills due to stress. It's understood that Saidah filed a report at the Setia Alam police station in Shah Alam, Selangor, on May 31. 'When Muntazar and I were still together, we'd share the passwords to our social media accounts. After we broke up, I changed my passwords and removed all access. 'He wasn't like this before and only began showing his true colours after the split,' she added. Meanwhile, Muntazar has refuted Saidah's claims that he couldn't afford to proceed with their wedding. In a separate interview with mStar, the actor said he has additional funds invested in unit trusts. 'I already told Saidah about it, but she told me that's investment savings and not actual money. 'If it's true that I have only RM500 in savings, how is it possible for me to pay close to RM1,000 monthly for my car while also giving my family around RM1,000?" he questioned.
