Stained glass artist from Norfolk to appear on BBC show
A glass painter from Diss is to feature on a hit BBC television show later this month.
Claire Webb began ''dabbling'' with stained glass art in 2021 after closing The Sweetie Shop and Claire's Sugar Craft after 33 years in the high street in Diss.
She wanted to push her new business further but has struggled with dyslexia all her life, claiming that "numbers, letters and computers are alien to her''.
Claire composing her artwork (Image: Claire Webb) ''I decided to apply to Make it at Market to see if they could help," she said. ''I didn't think for one minute that I would be selected so I was thrilled to have got through.''
Make it at Market, presented by The Repair Shop's Dom Chinea, is currently airing its third series across March.
The team alongside craft experts helps groups of entrepreneurs to make a living from their hobby.

''I like being creative, it suits my head as I get absorbed in what I am doing," the 58-year-old added.
''It has been a baptism of fire and although I still really struggle with technology it has helped me enormously.

Claire hopes that once the episode airs her work will reach a wider audience and ''improve the overall potential of people buying'' (Image: Claire Webb) ''It pushed me into the tech and was a real eye-opener, I even bought a computer for the first time in August last year.''
Claire will feature on Make it at Market on March 20 at 3.45pm on BBC One which will see her complete challenges while receiving guidance from glass artist Derek Hunt.
