Blackstone's Cirsa Plans to Raise $459 Million in Spain IPO
Blackstone's Cirsa, a Spanish casino operator, plans to launch an initial public offering in Spain with the goal of raising 400 million euros ($459.3 million) to boost its growth strategy. The gambling company intends to apply for its shares to be admitted for trading on Spanish stock exchanges, it said Wednesday. The move comes seven years after Cirsa's acquisition by Blackstone.

Grupo Financiero Galicia: Q1 Earnings Snapshot
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Grupo Financiero Galicia SA (GGAL) on Tuesday reported first-quarter earnings of $154.1 million. The Buenos Aires, Argentina-based bank said it had earnings of 96 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 90 cents per share.

Heineken will invest over $2.7 bln in Mexico through 2028
MEXICO CITY, June 11 (Reuters) - Beer maker Heineken will invest $2.75 bln in different projects in Mexico, the company's CEO in the country said on Wednesday. Oriol Bonaclocha said during the president's morning press conference that the investment will include the construction of a new factory in the country's southeast.

Spain Makes First Payment in Lengthy Fight Over Renewable Energy
The Spanish government made its first payment as a result of an arbitration decision in 2021 around the country's move to change investor incentives tied to renewable energy projects, following a number of lengthy legal battles between Spain and various creditors. An entity called Blasket Renewable Investments, which petitioned a claim against the country in the US, notified a US federal court on Wednesday that Spain had 'fully satisfied' a final judgment ordering the payment, court documents show, without specifying how much was paid.

Chile Finance Chief Wants to Unlock Billions in New Investments
Chile's government is readying legislation to unlock billions of dollars of investments by speeding up the approval process, following years of complaints over excessive red tape, Finance Minister Mario Marcel said. The government will introduce a bill overhauling environmental impact assessments to accelerate the evaluation of decarbonization projects worth more than US$7.5 billion, Marcel told investors at the annual Chile Day event in New York on Friday. The administration will also expedite more than 100 other investment proposals.
