Two dead after being shot in Southwest Baltimore on Sunday, police say
Two men died after being shot in Southwest Baltimore's Carrollton Ridge neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to the Baltimore Police Department. Officers responded to the 2200 block of Christian Street shortly after 1:35 p.m., where they found a 31-year-old man, the department said in a news release. The man was unresponsive and appeared to have been shot more than once. Blocks away, officers found a 24-year-old man in the same condition on the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue. Autopsy finds southwest Edmonton shooting death a homicide
An Edmonton Police Service cruiser and an ambulance. (Matt Marshall/CTV News Edmonton) An autopsy on the body of a man who died after a shooting in southwest Edmonton has found he died by homicide. Edmonton police answered a call of a shooting on Wednesday at 12:38 a.m. in the area of 16 Avenue and 65 Street SW, where they found an injured 40-year-old Inderpal Singh. He died at the scene. The medical examiner determined from the autopsy that Singh died from gunshot wounds and that the manner of death is homicide. Edmonton homicide detectives have now taken over the case. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 780-423-4567.

KCPD investigating after homicide near 29th, Wabash
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is investigating a homicide near the 2900 block of Wabash on Sunday evening. Officers were called to scene on a reported shooting just before 8:30 p.m. When they arrived, they were directed to a residence on Wabash. They found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. Police currently have nobody custody. This incident is still under investigation. Police searching for suspect after man shot, killed Friday night in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed Friday night in south Kansas City, investigators reported. According to the Kansas City Police Department, at about 8:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 82nd Street and Troost Avenue on reports of a shooting. Man pleads guilty to shooting, killing 6-year-old boy in Kansas City, Kansas While officers were driving to the scene, KCPD said they received multiple calls about shots in the area, and an additional call about a shooting victim found near 82nd Street and Tracey Avenue. When KCPD arrived, they reported finding a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the street. Officers immediately began performing life-saving operations until paramedics arrived. The man was then taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. At this time, police are still searching for a suspect and believe there was an altercation between multiple people in the street before the shooting occurred. Allegheny County police investigating body found in South Park
An investigation is underway after a body was found in South Park early on Saturday morning. According to county police, just before 8 a.m., county 911 was alerted to a body found in a small pond on Maple Springs Drive in South Park. Allegheny County police responded to the call, and when they arrived, they found the adult male's body in the pond and alerted homicide detectives. Police have said that the preliminary investigation shows no obvious signs of trauma. The cause of death will be determined by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office. The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit is investigating, and anyone with information is being asked to call their tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
