Ashley Roberts puts on a leggy display in a stylish denim co-ord set as she hails a taxi in Soho

Ashley Roberts looked as stylish as ever while hailing a taxi in central London on Thursday. The former Pussycat Doll, 43, put on a very leggy display in a chic co-ord set as she soaked up the 31C heatwave in England's capital. She showed off her incredible figure in a denim mini skirt and matching button-up vest top as she made sure all eyes were on her. Ashley added a few extra inches to her frame in a pair of simple, white heels, which showed off the tattoo on her foot which read 'love and transformation'. She toted her essentials in a white quilted handbag and carried a copy of Munroe Bergdorf 's Talk To Me with her. The newly-published self-empowerment handbook teaches readers how to tackle tricky conversations with confidence and explores topics from beauty standards to gender identity and cancel culture. Ashley recently sparked concern among fans about her relationship with boyfriend George Rollinson, 25, after offering heartbreak advice on Instagram. While on a sun-soaked getaway with the artist, she shared breathing techniques with her followers, which she said was a great way to 'open up your heart' to welcome in new love as worried fans rushed to the comments. Ashley, who has been dating George since November 2023, penned: 'To all my hunnis feeling the sting of heartbreak right now — I feel you, I see you, I love you. Take 30 seconds. Breathe. Check in with yourself. 'If you're feeling okay, carry on. If not, pause. Be gentle with yourself. You're not alone. I'm breathing with you. You got this'. Concerned fans wrote: 'You can't be going through heartache princess': 'Wait ur not a single pringle now': So beautiful sweetheart hope you're well': 'Sending love.' Last year, Ashley gushed to MailOnline that she was in a 'happy place' as she gushed over her relationship with George. She said: 'It's really nice to be in a relationship that's kind and thoughtful and supportive and we have fun'. She explained that while online dating works for a lot of people she and George met through mutual friends and their relationship 'came about naturally'. She raised her perfectly manicured hand to wave for a cab, clutching sunglasses, a white handbag and a copy of Munroe Bergdorf's Talk To Me in the other 'It was an unexpected thing, we met, and I was having a good time and living my best life, enjoying it and I was like 'this is someone quite special' - I'm in a happy place'. She also recently gave an insight into her love life and revealed why she prefers dating Brits over American men. In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Ashley said she feels like an 'adopted Brit' after moving to London from the US in 2012 after her appearance on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. She admitted she could never imagine dating a man from the US now because they're 'overwhelming'. She said: 'Yes, George is British. It's funny because I have been here so long that when I go back to the States, I'm much more aware of the differences… 'American men are, I feel bad saying this, but they're overwhelming, they are too much. I'm like, you need to calm down. 'I think because I grew up in that culture, I didn't necessarily think anything different but now I've lived here for so long and I've dated in the past, many years ago, European men... 'But I don't even imagine myself dating an American guy now. 'They have a different approach. Even in places like Vegas it's all around you that kind of testosterone.' Ashley, who's originally from Phoenix, Arizona, says she is thankful to have settled down in Britain and after The Pussycat Dolls went their separate ways in 2010.

Inside Ruth Jones' marriage breakup from affair that started relationship to ex-husband's look-a-like lover in Canada

THEIR relationship began in scandal – and now, 26 years later, it seems it's ended the same way. After Gavin & Stacey star Ruth Jones, 58, confirmed her shock split from husband David Peet, 71, rumours are swirling that he left her for another woman - one who, awkwardly, could pass for Ruth's double. 9 9 9 The TV producer is now living thousands of miles away in a quiet Canadian town with new partner Jayne Charity Cook, while Ruth has relocated from Cardiff to London to focus on her ever-flourishing career. Fans are convinced Ruth hinted at her heartbreak in her recent Sunday Times bestseller, By Your Side, which follows Linda - a curvy, teetotal woman in her 50s - whose husband runs off with another woman to open a café in Spain. While promoting the novel at the Bath Literary Festival in May, where she was notably without her wedding ring, Ruth admitted Linda was based on her. Tellingly, she described how the fictional husband's fling with a colleague finally ended a long but lacklustre marriage. 'It was never a really great big romantic marriage,' she told the audience. 'They got on fine. They had a good sex life but that was kind of it. 'They were good friends. When he (the husband) went off with Denise at his place of work, and ran off to run a cafe in Spain called Doolallies, she was quite happy to see him go.' It's hard not to draw parallels with Ruth's real-life split. In a recent statement, she confirmed she and David went their separate ways 18 months ago, 'amicably,' and insisted they remain 'good friends.' Since then, Ruth's star has only risen. She's just scooped a BAFTA for her much-loved role as Nessa, topped the book charts, and is filming a gripping Netflix thriller Run Away, alongside Cold Feet actor James Nesbitt. Meanwhile, David has swapped showbiz for small-town life – and a new romance out of the spotlight. Ruth Jones brings back Gavin and Stacey's Nessa one last time as she picks up comedy TV BAFTA Jayne went public with David in April, updating her profile picture to a loved-up snap of the pair. She also shared photos on Threads, writing: 'Spent the weekend with my love and had an amazing time.' Describing herself as a 'MommaBear, great Friend, Lover, Partner, Daughter, Sister,' she has two adult children – Alexander and Isabella – and is a proud grandmother to their three kids. She has worked as an Education Assistant at the Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw School on the Tsulquate Reserve since 2016. While it's unclear exactly when - or how - Jayne met David, he's believed to have moved to Canada several months ago. 'It's a bold move across the Atlantic,' a source said. 'But David saw it as a new chapter in his life and an exciting opportunity he couldn't ignore.' Their split came as a shock to industry insiders, who remember Ruth first meeting David in the early '90s while working on a BBC Wales pilot. According to Ruth, it was 'love at first voice' after hearing him on the phone before meeting in person. 'He has a very sharp mind combined with a dry Yorkshire wit, making him a naturally funny man,' she later commented. Their relationship began while David's previous marriage was coming to an end – something Ruth has since spoken about openly. 'Affairs cause a lot of pain – they're not something one aspires to do,' she previously said. 'You don't aspire to cause pain to people in their life.' Their romance triggered the divorce from the mother of his three children, Louise, Alex and Fiona, all now in their 30s, who Ruth remains close to. 9 9 9 The pair tied the knot in 1999 and went onto work with each other again, co-creating her Sky comedy Stella, in which she plays the title character - a struggling single mother - which ran for 58 episodes from 2012. The former couple used to split their time between their two properties in Cardiff and the Scottish Highlands, where they own a holiday home. Despite their strong union, they never had any biological kids together - with Ruth admitting she never had a strong desire to be a mother. 'It just didn't happen,' she once said. 'It wasn't a decision. I don't have a burning desire to have babies. "I think it's heartbreaking if you do and you find out you can't have them. I love being a stepmum - all the joys of motherhood without the pain of childbirth." 'Teenage angst' Despite not being particularly maternal, Ruth was a natural stepmother. 'You take things as they come,' she admitted. 'There wasn't a moment when I thought, 'I've become a stepmum now'.' She has always spoken fondly of her stepkids and expressed excitement about the possibility of becoming a step-grandmother one day. "We never had any difficulty with teenage angst,' she recalled. 'And now I'm looking forward to becoming a step-grandmother at some point." Their split follows the much-anticipated 2024 Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special, where Ruth's beloved character Nessa finally tied the knot with her longtime love Smithy, played by co-writer James Corden. The episode – fittingly titled The Finale – marked the end of the hit series, pulling in a massive 12.3 million viewers. Ruth and David had previously collaborated on the 2009 Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special. Ruth's portrayal of the straight-talking Welsh legend Nessa earned her a BAFTA for Best Female Performance in a Comedy this May - and while she collected the award barefoot, she was still wearing her wedding ring at the ceremony. But she failed to mention husband David in her acceptance speech. Instead, she paid a heartfelt tribute to the Gavin & Stacey cast and crew, singling out her co-writer James Corden, saying: 'I love you, James. I love writing with you - and long may it continue.' Ruth and James have co-written a memoir due out in October titled Gavin and Stacey and Everything in Between. 'It's really the story of our friendship,' Ruth told Lorraine. 'We've been close for 25 years now. He's one of my best friends. I adore that man and love being in a room with him – so hopefully we'll write more together.' 9 9 James and Ruth's friendship goes way back - the pair first met while working on Teachers and Fat Friends back in 2001. James has spoken just as fondly of Ruth, once describing her as someone he 'loves more than you could ever imagine.' While Ruth insists her and David remain 'good friends', insiders wonder if they'll continue to work together. Although Ruth says she and David are still 'good friends,' it's unclear whether they'll continue to work together professionally. David, a TV producer and Ruth's former business partner at Tidy Productions, has played a key role in many of her projects over the years. He's worked on Gavin & Stacey, Stella, The Great Outdoors, and the festive film A Child's Christmases in Wales. He also served as an executive producer and writer on Gavin & Stacey, and was behind Ruth's one-off specials, including Ruth Jones' Christmas Cracker (2010), Easter Treat, and Summer Holiday (2011). In 2019, Ruth told Radio 4's Desert Island Disc how she prefers staying at home than attending glitzy showbiz events. She also recalled her meeting with Barack Obama at a dinner at Downing Street in 2013 and how he's a fan of the Welsh accent. She told how he was particularly charmed by Jones's tendency at the time to say 'Brill-iant' and stick her thumbs in the air. 'I went very Welsh. I went 'Hiya!' and shook hands with him,' she told presenter Lauren Laverne. 'I said 'Can I just say? Congratulations! Brill-iant!' 'And he shook hands with me and then leaned down and said: 'I really need to learn how to say that – brill-iant!'.' While David settles into his new life in a quiet town in Canada, Ruth is busy filming her new Netflix thriller, Run Away - the latest Harlan Coben novel to be adapted for the screen. She stars alongside Cold Feet actor James Nesbitt in the gripping new series, and it could mark a fresh chapter for Ruth – both on and off screen - as we're about to see a very different side to her. 'I've been playing a private investigator and I've really enjoyed it – it's so different,' she says. New role, new career direction… perhaps even a new man too, Ruth?

Murray: I bought a Ferrari after split from Kim… only to get stopped 2mins later by the police

Heartbreak affects people in many different ways. But Sir Andy Murray has admitted he dealt with a breakup by buying a Ferrari – which he ended up getting rid of within weeks. The sporting great, speaking to a Glasgow audience about his career highs and lows, revealed he made the extravagant purchase in his younger days. He said the pressures of fame affected his personal life and, aged 21, he and his long-term girlfriend Kim Sears split up. In response, he bought a Ferrari because 'I thought that was going to be a cool thing to do'. The car, however, caused a headache. He said: 'When I first took it out on the road I was pulled over by the police. Not because I was driving too quickly but because the insurance hadn't gone through yet. This was literally within two or three minutes of driving on the road with it.' Sir Andy got rid of the car after a couple of months, and he and Kim reconciled, marrying in 2015. He also revealed that after a glittering career taking in two Wimbledon wins and becoming world number one and Olympic champion, he does not miss tennis at all. He said: 'Honestly, I don't miss it at all. And that was something that I was really worried about.' It is nearly a year since Sir Andy officially retired from tennis, and the 38-year-old is now taking part in a four-venue speaking tour of the UK. At the event hosted by sports commentator Andrew Cotter, Sir Andy spoke candidly about the highs and lows of tennis, including his well-documented hip and back problems. He said now he far prefers spending time with Kim and their four young children, with his sporting talents channelled into skiing and golf. Sir Andy said: 'I don't miss hitting a tennis ball. I'm happy just doing stuff with my kids and my family, and just doing normal stuff.' At the age of 15, having been scouted for Rangers, he had to choose between a professional tennis career and football. He chose tennis – but the path was far from easy. He said: 'Unfortunately, in Scotland at that time, there weren't many tennis players and you need to play against a similar level to improve.' At a junior competition with Rafa Nadal, he asked his Spanish rival what his training was like and he mentioned working with Carlos Moya, who was the former world number one. Sir Andy said: 'And I was like, you know, I've got my mum.' Speaking of the difficulties of being in the limelight, Sir Andy said he was ill-prepared and quickly gained a reputation as a 'grumpy teenager'. He added: 'The media in Great Britain can be pretty harsh and the mood changes fast. 'A lot of the pundits are people that you've looked up to ... It's hard. You take what they're saying to heart.' He spoke of the notorious incident when a reporter asked him which team he would support in the 2006 World Cup and he replied 'anyone but England'. Hate mail began to arrive and he was the subject of whispers from other players and their teams at Wimbledon. He said: 'I remember walking to the court for one of my mixed doubles matches and someone was on the phone and just went, ''There's that f***ing Scottish guy,'. 'I was 19 at the time. I was very miserable and I'm aware of that but it changed my relationship with the media.'

Nathan Buckley's ex opens up about ‘horrible' split

Brodie Ryan has opened up about her split from Collingwood legend Nathan Buckley, admitting that she was left heartbroken. 'The first few months were hard, and breakups are always horrible,' she told the Herald Sun on Thursday. 'Time heals all wounds. The heartbreak is real, but we'll both be okay.' The 36-year-old revealed she had intended to be a housewife, and was disappointed that the plans were no longer in effect. 'I wanted that responsibility and revelled in that of being a housewife and a little family's support, but unfortunately it didn't end the way I'd hoped,' she said. In April this year, Ryan said her goal for this year was to focus on herself, telling the Herald Sun, 'Focusing on mental health and the stable lifestyle that I'm used to, and doing things that make me happy. That's my plan for 2025 … to focus on me.' The pair, who met in 2022 and have a 16-year age gap, have been an item since 2022. Ryan shared the news of their split in an Instagram story in May this year. 'After much reflection and consideration, Nath and I have decided to part ways,' she said. 'This decision was not made lightly, and we are grateful for the time we shared, the memories we created, and the support we received from each other.' In Ryan's lengthy post, she also thanked supporters for their kind messages 'over the past couple of months of heartache', and said she will always have respect for Nathan and 'a lot of love for him and his boys and our beautiful dog Tank'. Buckley, 52, did not share the same message to his social media platforms. AFL legend Buckley separated from his wife Tania Buckley, with whom he shares two children, in 2020 and in a candid interview a few years later referred to his marriage breakdown as 'the most traumatic thing that's happened to me recently'. 'Whilst it was a bloody tough period, I learnt a lot about being more open, being more vulnerable and that I actually couldn't hold it all in,' he told the Herald Sun. 'At the same point, my footy family, and then close friends, just rose to the surface. I'd never really understood the absolute value of friendship until I had nowhere else to turn, and I needed them.'

Brodie Ryan breaks silence on 'horrible' split with AFL star Nathan Buckley: 'The heartbreak is real'

Brodie Ryan has opened up on her 'horrible' breakup with AFL star Nathan Buckley. The healthcare professional admitted that she was left heartbroken by the split but is looking toward the future. 'The first few months were hard, and break-ups are always horrible,' the 36-year-old told the Herald Sun on Wednesday. 'Time heals all wounds. The heartbreak is real, but we'll both be okay.' Brodie said that she was 'resuming her normal life' but sad that her dreams of being a 'housewife' have been dashed. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I wanted that responsibility and revelled in that of being a housewife and a little family's support, but unfortunately it didn't end the way I'd hoped' she said. Brodie added that her life now was a 'little more stress-free with a little less pressure and less responsibility.' In May, Brodie revealed she'll be moving out of the Melbourne home she purchased with Buckley, following their split. The brunette revealed in an emotional Instagram post that she is leaving the bayside suburb of Elwood altogether. Brodie shared an image as she enjoyed a glass of wine at the local tavern. 'End of an era. Sad to say goodbye to my favourite little community of Elwood,' she captioned the post. Brodie and Nathan purchased a property together in the highly sought-after suburb and moved into the home in June last year. Her post came just hours after Brodie announced the pair have decided to part ways, while Nathan still remains silent on the breakup. 'To the followers of the 'Brodes and Bucks' journey,' the former WAG began. 'After much reflection and consideration, Nath and I have decided to part ways,' she continued. 'Thank you for your kind messages and support over the past couple of months of heartache. I am truly grateful for your kindness and consideration. 'This decision was not made lightly, and we are grateful for the time we shared, the memories we created, and the support we received from each other and all of you. 'While we will no longer be a couple, I will always respect Nathan and the friendship that developed between us 3-4 years ago and have a lot of love for him and his boys and our beautiful dog Tank.' Brodie concluded: 'We appreciate your understanding and kindness over the past couple of months and continuing through this transition period. 'We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter in our lives. Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of our journey. With respect and gratitude, Brodie.' The sad ending came just months after the pair took their relationship to the next level by recently jetting off to the island paradise of Fiji for a very special family occasion. 'It's a big family holiday with all of Nath's family,' Ryan told the Herald Sun at the Australian Open. It was not the couple's first getaway, they've enjoyed several mini-breaks so far on homegrown soil. 'We've been to the New South Wales coast in the... campervan, we've been to Eildon, Fairhaven, Sorrento and we'll also be going to Queensland,' she told the publication at the time. Brodie previously revealed she and Nathan connected over their similar upbringings, after they began dating in 2022. Despite their 17-year age gap, the Melbourne businesswoman said they have so much in common and that they push each other every day to be their best selves. 'Helping others be the best version of themselves and prioritising their mental health and wellbeing and giving back to others is a passion both Nath and I have always shared. These topics were a big attraction to each in the beginning,' she said. 'We had very similar upbringings and share a lot of the same values due to this,' she continued. 'I have always been enthusiastic about helping others where I can, and to have a partner that exercises this same passion every day with his family, friends, and the wider community inspires me.' Brodie said Nathan's public profile has given him the opportunity to help others through hardships and to give back, and that she is 'inspired' by the work he does.
