One charged, minor injuries reported in rollover
The scene of a reported crash in Midland, Ont., on Wed., June 4, 2025. Police responded to a crash on Highway 12 near Jones road in Midland on Wednesday that resulted in a red SUV getting flipped upside down. Video supplied to CTV News by a viewer shows a red SUV upside down on the side of the road with its airbags deployed and emergency crews at the scene. According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, one person was charged with careless driving and sustained minor injuries. The area was closed as crews worked on the scene and police say it will be reopened once the vehicle is extricated.

Students unharmed after crash involving school bus
No injuries are reported after a crash involving a school bus full of students. Around 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, emergency services in Middlesex County were called to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Centre Road in Adelaide Metcalfe. The bus with 34 elementary students on board was able to be driven from the scene and the other vehicle, a pick up truck, was towed away. a 35 year old from St. Thomas has been charged with careless driving.

Gorton crash leaves pedestrian with 'life-threatening' injuries
A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle near a pub suffered life-threatening injuries, police have services were called to reports of a collision near the Waggon and Horses on Hyde Road in the Gorton area of Manchester at 23:45 BST on Manchester Police (GMP) said the injured man was in his 30s. The force also confirmed it had arrested a man in his 50s on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.A GMP spokesperson asked any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact the force. A man is fighting for his life in hospital after sustaining 'life threatening injuries' in a crash in south Manchester. Emergency services raced to Hyde Road in Gorton at around 11:45pm on Tuesday (June 3) following reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was rushed to hospital where he remains. He remains in police custody for questioning. In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 11.45pm on Tuesday 3 June we were called to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Hyde Road, Gorton. "Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with injuries that are believed to be life threatening. "A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. "He remains in custody for questioning. "Our Serious Collisions Investigations Unit (SCIU) is appealing for witnesses who may have seen this incident, or who may have any dashcam footage, to please come forward. Driver who killed man in Bristol crash gets suspended sentence
A driver who caused the death of a 74-year-old pedestrian in a crash in Bristol last year has received a suspended Veck, 33, was driving a Peugeot 108 in Clifton on Saturday 21 December 2024 when he hit Paul Adams, who had been crossing the road, with his Adams was taken to hospital where he died during the early hours of Christmas Eve, police of College Court, Fishponds, received an 18-week suspended prison sentence at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to causing death by careless driving at an earlier hearing. Emergency services had been called to the crash on Whiteladies Road shortly after 11:35 GMT on 21 December showed Veck's car was stationary before he turned right from Whiteladies Road into Alma Road and crashed into Mr stopped immediately after the crash and during a police interview stated he had not seen him crossing the road. Mr Adams' family had said in tribute after his death he would be "sorely missed".They said he had lived in the Westbury-on-Trym area his entire life and had worked at Rolls Royce and Royal Mail before his Nicholas, the Avon and Somerset Police officer in the case, said: "Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Adams. "A specially trained officer has continued to provide them with support throughout our investigation."Stuart Veck admitted responsibility for what happened during the police interview and has today been sentenced accordingly."This tragic case hopefully serves as a reminder to all road users that even in traffic at low speed, just a moment's lapse in concentration can have devastating consequences."
