Cannibal Russian soldier 'ATE his dead comrade and lived off his remains for two weeks' on frontline, phone call intercepted by Ukrainian spies reveal

A Russian soldier fighting on the frontlines of Ukraine killed his colleague and lived off his remains for two weeks, Ukraine's military intelligence directorate (HUR) has claimed. HUR released what it said was an intercepted call between two of Vladimir Putin 's troops in which they were heard discussing an alleged case of cannibalism among the ranks. One soldier was heard telling his stunned comrade in an expletive-laden rant how a soldier nicknamed Brelok - or 'keychain' - killed his fellow infantryman 'Foma' and began eating him. 'F***ing hell... Brelok f***ing ate him, f*** me... nobody went anywhere. Brelok whacked him and then ate him for f***ing two weeks,' the first caller says. 'No f***ing way… holy sh*t… f*** my bald skull. Was Brelok really found as a 200?' the other responds. The term 200 refers to someone who is found killed in action. 'Yeah, they say he was a 200. He ate his comrade. So yeah… something to think about. I was shocked myself,' the first caller concluded. Ukraine's HUR has intermittently shared snippets of phone calls it says are genuine interceptions of Russian communications since the full-scale invasion in February 2022, though there is no way to verify whether they are genuine. But several Russian units engaged in frontline combat in Ukraine are made up of hardened criminals who agreed to sign up for the so-called 'special military operation' in exchange for a commutation of their sentences. In May 2024, it emerged that a convicted cannibal and a murderer-rapist were among the men freed by the Russian defence ministry before heading to the frontlines. Dmitry Malyshev, 36, was jailed after frying the heart of one of three men he killed. He was hit with a 25-year sentence for 'murder of two people with particular cruelty as part of a criminal gang, banditry, theft and illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition, preparation for the murder of police officers, robbery and eating the heart of the last victim', Russian media reported. Meanwhile, rapist and killer Alexander Maslennikov, 38, used an axe and a meat grinder to cut up and mince the bodies of two women he invited to his flat for a pizza, before 'feeding human flesh to the dogs'. The pair were pictured grinning together in military fatigues after being freed from jail in late 2023. Sickening rapist and killer Alexander Maslennikov, 38, used an axe and a meat grinder to cut up and mince the bodies of two women he invited to his flat Malyshev told Russia's V1 outlet that he and Maslennikov wanted 'to preserve the traditional values of Russia' in fighting for Putin. 'Alexander and I were serving sentences together and we both signed contracts with the Ministry of Defence in October 2023.' In his confession, Malyshev - pardoned and released 17 years early by Russian courts in coordination with the Defence Ministry - told police about his cannibalism. 'I caught up with a man there, and killed him. 'I hit him several times in the head with a nail gun and cut out his heart,' he said, adding that he took the heart home. In a crime reconstruction, he said: 'I reached in with my hand and pulled out the heart… I sliced it here, the heart's on the table, I just sliced it. Then I put it in a frying pan and started frying it… Then I ate it. 'Well, well, well, we're frying human flesh. Here we have a heart.' He said he 'added the onions and the seasoning… Now I'm gonna stir it in. It's going to be ******* awesome.' Maslennikov, a convicted rapist, was jailed for 23 years for double murder, but released from jail by Putin 18-and-a-half years early Maslennikov, a convicted rapist, was jailed for 23 years for double murder, but released from jail by Putin 18-and-a-half years early. He killed two sales assistants, Daria Labutina, 29, and Olga Shaposhnikova, 28, after meeting them at a karaoke bar and inviting them to his flat for pizza. He testified that he had sex with Daria - and then killed her in the bathroom. Maslennikov then went to eat pizza and smoke with Olga, who was initially unaware her friend had been murdered. After she refused to have sex with him, he tied her up and gagged her - smoking and drinking next to her as she pleaded in vain for her life. Forensic evidence showed Olga died from strangulation. Maslennikov stabbed her repeatedly after death. He then went to buy an axe, file, spade, and plastic bin bags. Prosecutors told the court the DNA of both women was found on a meat grinder in his kitchen.

‘Evil': Man sentenced to life after Perth bondage sex murder

A dad-of two who arranged to a meet a teenager for a bondage sex hook-up was hacked to death with an axe by the depraved 19-year-old, with the slaying described as 'an example of evil'. Former Australian beach handball coach and West Coast Eagles masseuse Patrik Weiss was killed in his Lockridge home on June 12, 2023. The 45-year-old father had agreed to meet Alexander Mark Sutton, then 19, and was waiting blindfolded with his hands and feet bound with rope and handcuffs. He left a key to the front door in a meter box outside, having chatted online with his would-be killer for six months on a fetish website. Western Australia's Supreme Court heard, however, that Sutton had created a fake online dating profile with the intention of finding someone to kill. Upon arrival he fatally struck the vulnerable Mr Weiss in the head with a pickaxe, fracturing his skull. The court heard Sutton had also fantasised about eating part of his victim. Sutton, now 21, was sentenced life in prison with a non-parole period of 20 years on Thursday after pleading guilty to murder. Prosecutor Paul Usher read out excerpts of the diary Sutton kept before the murder to the court, revealing references to cannibalism. 'If you are reading this, either I have been caught or I have been killed,' it read. 'My mission is to kill those who are parasitic scum. 'Maybe I will eat a part of him as well to see if I like it. 'I need to get rid of my anger ASAP.' Sutton also wrote about 'hearing voices' and mused about killing his father and sister 'with the same method'. Katherine Dowling, Sutton's own lawyer, told the court he had carried out 'one of the most depraved and monstrous murders that this state has ever seen'. 'His behaviours were horrifying and profoundly perverse,' she said. 'This must be as close to an example of evil as one could imagine.' Mr Weiss was born in Germany and moved to Australia in 2003, later becoming the coach of the men's national beach handball team in 2013. He also worked as a sports physiotherapist, acting as a soft tissue therapist for AFL powerhouse West Coast. The court heard his former wife found him dead after he failed to pick up his children from school on the day he died. She told the court in a victim impact statement about how Sutton had 'destroyed' the lives of her children. 'This was not just a crime against one person it was a crime that fractured an entire family.' She also read out a statement from their two kids, with one saying her father 'didn't deserve to die like that'. In imposing a life sentence, Justice Joseph McGrath said the offending was 'extraordinarily callous' and that he did not believe Sutton was truly remorseful.

Horrified Springwatch viewers rage 'give us a warning next time!' after 'hideous' cannibalism scenes that 'shouldn't be shown' see owl 'pulled apart and eaten alive'

Horrified Springwatch viewers raged after 'hideous'cannibalism scenes saw an animal 'pulled apart and eaten alive on Tuesday's episode of the BBC show. The latest instalment of the programme saw Chris Packham, 64, and Michaela Strachan, 59, return to National Trust 's Longshaw Estate in the Peak District to give fans an update on a short-eared owl family. The pair introduced the grassland species and their nest during the first week of the brand new series. Chris explained: 'Last week we introduced short-eared owl's nest that we had found, the first time we've shown you these birds live on Springwatch. 'Absolutely beautiful. There were six youngsters in the nest, but they started to disperse pretty much straightaway. 'We kept an eye on them and last night there were only two left in the nest area, although they were scuttling out and back again.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. They then shared a clip of them doing so, with Chris explaining: 'Here they were yesterday, coming back into that nest. The other four that we know are there have spread out into the Heather. It's a way of avoiding predators. '[The] largest chick was screaming a lot, it was hungry, the adults delivered because they brought in two voles and then a pipit, which they had captured. 'Things is, it was only the large chick that was getting the food, it ate the two voles and swallowed the pipit hole.' He explained that they ended up bringing more food back, but the larger chick stole it. Michaela added: 'You may remember yesterday when we showed you the six chicks, there's a big size differences between the youngest and oldest one. 'They hatch at intervals, so the younger might be more than a week younger than the oldest chick in the nest, and very often if there's not enough pretty to go around, the younger one will perish. 'That is usually when they are very little. It seemed like they were all being fed and just yesterday I said that one was doing really well, but I'm afraid in that nest, things took a turn for the worse. 'And it really surprised us. It is a little bit shocking.' Springwatch then played the footage of the chick eating its sibling, with Michaela adding: 'As you can see, that little one became weak and defenseless and the stronger sibling took complete advantage. 'It started pecking at the younger one which was still alive and I'm really sorry to say, I know it's hard to watch... but it pecked it to death. 'That was really surprising for us. 'As Chris said, they were fed four times, the little one could have taken some of that food, the bigger one took it, plenty of prey around, they were branching out, old enough to survive. We thought all of them were going to survive. 'But very sadly as you can see, that younger one didn't. It died. The older one made the most of it. It got rid of its sibling and it was very very hard to watch.' Those watching at home were in absolute shock at the scenes they were viewing and rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss. 'Just let the kids to watch some nice relaxing #Springwatch before bed... Oh. Owl cannibalism.' 'Really don't think they should have shown the owl being eaten alive #Springwatch.' 'Baby owl eating its sibling alive ffs. Give us a 5 minute warning next time.' 'Got to love #Springwatch. Just watched my first 5 minutes of this series and I've already seen one short eared owl chick peck a sibling to death and eat it's cadaver.' 'Jeeze could have done without being shown that older owl chick pecking its fellow younger chick to death. It's different it dying and then being eaten but to be eaten alive is horrible.' 'Owl carnage... #springwatch So I think let's switch off from the doom and gloom at #swfc and decide to watch a bit of #springwatch to calm me down and what do I see, a baby owl eat it's sibling and another dead baby owl fed to it's siblings! Give us Owls a break.' 'Ffs that was didn't die and get eaten, it was pulled apart alive poor thing.'

He Was Called the 'Eunuch Maker' — and What He Did With the Body Parts Afterward Was Unthinkable

To Marius Gustavson, it was business. To Britain's Crown Court, Gustavson's 'gruesome and grisly' body manipulation enterprise was criminal. Gustavson, a 46-year-old Norwegian national, was sentenced to life in prison in 2024 in England after he was arrested for running a controversial body manipulation service, which often included live streaming himself while abusing the bodies of other human beings who paid him to do it. According to the BBC, Gustavson's website advertised his unlicensed services to provide castration, the freezing of limbs, and other amateur procedures, such as removing nipples and human tissue. The self-described 'Eunuch maker' even branded some paying victims with his nickname's initials 'EM,' a British court heard in May 2024 when he was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 22 years served. During his sentencing hearing, prosecutor Caroline Carberry KC said there was 'clear evidence' of cannibalism, according to The Guardian. She described how Gustavson had prepared human testicles as part of a "salad" and stored various body parts in a refrigerator at his home as "trophies." Six others were sentenced for aiding Gustavson and his haphazard body mutilation practice, which primarily took place in hotel rooms and in front of others who paid to watch online, according to The Crown Prosecution Service. Roughly 20,000 subscribers paid to watch along as Gustavson mutilated his customers without any proper medical training or oversight, sometimes using kitchen knives and tools meant for animals, The Standard reported. Some of Gustavson's victims were as young as 16 years old, according to the outlet. 'Gustavson was involved in at least 22 procedures including the removal of victims' testicles, the amputation of penises, clamping of testicles with burdizzo clips (ordinarily used by vets in the castration of cattle), and the insertion of needles into genitalia,' the CPS said at the time. 'He was assisted by another defendant to place his own leg in dry ice which later required amputation meaning he was able to secure disability benefits.' The former Norwegian postal service worker's pay-per-view mutilation website was 'lucrative,' according to prosecutors, who told the British court Gustavson earned nearly 300,000 pounds between 2017 and 2021, when he was forced to close shop and later detained. Gustavson eventually pleaded guilty to 'five counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, making an indecent image of a child, four counts of distributing indecent images of a child, possessing extreme pornographic images, and possessing criminal property,' prosecutors said. In April 2025, his attempt to appeal his conviction was overturned by a London court, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. In the appeal, Gustavson's attorney argued his sentencing was unfair given the fact that 'those who underwent the modifications consented to what was done to them.' One victim testified during Gustavson's 2024 trial that he was 'mesmerized' by the 'Eunuch Maker' and his streams, but admitted he had regrets after going through with a procedure in which he had his testicles clamped while he was strapped to a bed and subjected to electric shocks before being branded with Gustavson's signature 'EM' marking. "I realize I have trusted a wrong person and Gustavson is in fact a lunatic,' the man said, according to The Standard. Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Gustavson's defense attorney argued during his sentencing that in addition to carrying out a paid service, the 'Eunuch Maker' was in some ways making people more comfortable in their bodies having dealt with his own body dysmorphia, which ultimately led him to start the pay-per-view website. "He does say he wished to put a smile on other people's faces - he wanted to help,' Gustavson's attorney said, according to BBC. "He was stuck in a body he wanted to make changes to, and understood there were more people out there who wished to do the same." But British authorities didn't see it that way. CPS London Specialist Prosecutor Kate Mulholland alleged Gustavson carried out the mutilations primarily for 'sexual gratification and financial gain' while ignoring 'the risks of performing unnecessary surgery on vulnerable men.' "He actively recruited participants through his website and was paid to stream the footage of these barbaric procedures,' Mulholland said after Gustavson was sentenced to life in prison. "Performing extreme body modifications is against the law and the CPS won't hesitate to prosecute these horrendous crimes." Read the original article on People
