Lee County man facing another theft charge
A 32-year-old Lee County man was charged with stealing a Dutchman Atlas Camper valued at $30,000.
Zachary Nathaniel Poling allegedly stole the camper from Donald Jay Mitchell on June 1.
He was charged with larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle, both felonies.
Poling, of the 4800 block of Ponderosa Road, southeast of Sanford near Olivia, was also charged with stealing a table and metal storage rack valued at over $200, stemming from June 2. Poling was arrested June 15 and held in the Harnett County Jail on a $125,000 bond.
He is also facing another charge from Oct. 14, 2024.
He allegedly stole $1,500 worth of household items from Cardinal State Storage at 201 Amos Bridge Road, along with $500 of household items from Tiffany McLean.
In that case, Poling was arrested Oct. 29, 2024, and posted a $5,000 bond on Feb. 27.
He also faces a misdemeanor shoplifting charge in Wake County stemming from Sept. 6, 2024 after he allegedly stole socks, shirts, shorts and game cards from a Walmart. He failed to appear in court on Nov. 4, 2024, according to eCourts.
Poling has also used an address at 250 Carver Falls Road in Fayetteville, according to eCourts.
