The classic rockers just added eight fall shows to their ongoing 2025 'Roll On Down The Highway Tour' including October gigs in both New Jersey and New York. Those Tri-state concerts go down at Englewood, NJ's Bergen Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Oct. 29, Atlantic City, NJ's Borgata Casino Event Center on Friday, Oct. 31 and North Tonawanda, NY's Riviera Theatre on Monday, Nov. 3. Prior to these newly-added autumn gigs, the group that brought the world 'Takin' Care of Business' and 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' co-headline a run of summer gigs with Marshall Tucker Band and either Jefferson Starship or The Outlaws. They also have a handful of solo headlining gigs and a one-off with Blue Öyster Cult and Foghat lined up over the next few months as well. 'We're playing all the hits, as well as diving deep into the album cuts,' Bachman said in an official statement. '…the response from fans has been incredible.' In addition to all of the staples you know and love, it's also likely Bachman and co. will play their recently-released, nostalgia-tinged single '60 Years Ago.' The song is the band's first new release since 1996 when they put out a Europe-only cover of 'The House of the Rising Sun.' Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Bachman-Turner Overdrive shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for their co-headlining tour is Friday, June 13. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Bachman-Turner Overdrive set list The band rocked Medford, MA's Chevalier Theatre last March. 'Takin' Care of Business' Bachman-Turner Overdrive new music On March 28, 2025, BTO dropped their first single in nearly 30 years. The nearly four-minute barroom rocker — appropriately dubbed '60 Years Ago' — name checks Canadian rock heroes Burton Cummings, Buffalo Springfield, The Guess Who and more. As an added bonus, the raucous ditty features a scorching guitar solo courtesy of The Godfather of Grunge himself, Mr. Neil Young. The song may be a last gasp for the aging rockers but also serves as proof positive that they still have gas left in the tank. If you'd like to hear the rallying cry of a tune for yourself, you can find '60 Years Ago' here. More about Bachman-Turner Overdrive In May 2024, The Post spoke with Randy Bachman about the origins of their classic 'Takin' Care Of Business,' new music and career highlights. 'One night I'm driving to a gig in Vancouver and a guy comes on the radio station. He says 'Hi, this is Daryl B and we're taking care of business,'' the 81-year-old told us about how the iconic tune came to be. Bachman wrote the title down and made the band play the song on the spot — unprepared and unrehearsed (!) — that night. Yes, the memorable call and response 'Takin' care of business/Every day/Takin' care of business/Every way/Takin' care of business/It's all mine/Takin' care of business/And workin' over time' was improvised. 'The crowd went crazy,' Bachman smiled. 'We recorded it two weeks later and that's what you hear.' For more stories like these, you can find our interview with Bachman here. Witness the Incredible Horror Transformation of DAYS' Stacy Haiduk

While the Devil hasn't shown his head in Salem for a while, Days of Our Lives has still delivered some horrific moments, such as when EJ was shot or John was engulfed in the meth lab explosion. Star Stacy Haiduk, who plays the seductive and scheming Kristen DiMera, is no stranger to horror movies and TV shows. The actress had previously urged fans to buckle up for her vampire horror short, Brand New Cadillac, in October 2024. And recently, she shared some gruesome fun she had at a horror convention. Haiduk shared a video on Instagram set to Bachman-Turner Overdrive's rock classic, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. The video was a fast-motion time-lapse of her having extensive makeup and prosthetics applied to her, giving her a stitched-together, Bride of Frankenstein-type look, yet unique and refreshing. Despite the heavy makeup effects, Haiduk's incredible beauty shone through. The post's caption read, 'I was so grateful to have been part of this talented group of artists!!!! Winnipeg's rock history put on the map as road gets honorary Bachman-Turner Overdrive name

A stretch of Winnipeg's Disraeli Freeway has been given an honorary name to celebrate an iconic Canadian band that helped put Winnipeg on the rock 'n' roll map. The southernmost portion of street, running off Main Street, was officially given the commemorative name Bachman-Turner Overdrive during an unveiling ceremony on Friday morning. Last year, city council's property committee passed a motion by Mynarski Coun. Ross Eadie asking for the renaming in honour of the band's contributions to the music industry, and frontman Randy Bachman's work "putting Winnipeg on the map during his continuing career." As the city officially put up the signs with the new honorary name on an unseasonably cold morning, the celebrated guitarist offered thanks for "the very appropriate weather." "It's the reason I left Winnipeg," said Bachman, laughing. "But I love coming back.… It was great growing up here. Rock 'n' roll was great," said Bachman, who rose to fame in the 1960s as the guitarist with another famed Winnipeg band, The Guess Who, before going on to form Bachman-Turner Overdrive in the city in 1973 with his brothers, Robbie and Tim Bachman, along with Fred Turner. Another Bachman brother, Gary, managed the band in its early days. The band, inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2014, produced hits such as Takin' Care of Business and You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. As he thanked the city for the honorary renaming, Randy Bachman paid tribute to his brothers — Tim and Robbie, who died just a few months apart in 2023, and Gary, who died in 2020. "Gary Bachman, Tim, Robbie.… They're gone, but this will live on," Bachman said. Band member Fred Turner was also on hand for the ceremony. "I didn't think this would ever happen, to tell you the truth," he said. "I can't tell you what it means … especially because I came home." Winnipeg's music scene, Turner said, has always been filled with talented artists, a spawning ground that gave his band the tools to take their songs to an international stage. "When I was a kid, I hoped. It was always a dream to do this," said Turner. "How many people have a childhood dream that becomes real?" Matt Derraugh, a born and raised Winnipeg drummer and Bachman–Turner Overdrive fan who attended Friday's public ceremony, said the band laid the groundwork for performers like him. "Just seeing where they took [their music] to … and how far you can take it to, that is definitely an inspiring piece," he said. The band's records encapsulated Winnipeg's "grit and grime," Derraugh said, capturing its essence in their lyrics. "The great heritage of music, what we have here in BTO, is absolutely an essential part of that, and it's essential for me," Derraugh said. Like Derraugh, BTO formed part of the soundtrack of Ronnie Ladobruk's childhood. The Winnipeg guitarist, who was at the unveiling ceremony, studied the band's record to learn how to play and create his own music. "Freddy's voice, Randy's voice, the guitar playing, the bass, drumming — everything is just incredible," he said. "It's next level. It's powerful." He said the honorary name brings a sense of pride, as well as a reminder of how much can be accomplished when someone dedicates their life to their craft, like BTO did. "It's very inspiring to see them recognized," he said. "They set the bar and they set the road, and we walk down it. We try to forge our own names and our own road," he said. "You can see what's possible if you just keep going."
